Responding to Jose's press conference statements, Antonio Conte shot back:

‘I think that he has to see himself in the past, maybe he was speaking about himself in the past, yeah?
Maybe sometimes I think that someone forget what they said in the past or which is his behaviours and sometimes I think there is, I don't know the name, demenza senile, when you are a bit, when you forget what you do in the past.’
- Antonio Conte

Ouch.

Anyway, it looks like the Conte vs Mourinho war is not about to end soon.

.....
In his latest scathing attack on Jose, Conte referred to him as a 'little man'

This is fast going beyond banters. .

Conte has probably forgotten that Mourinho himself said that he acted in such a way when he was younger. Shots fired, shots missed.

I think Mou already said he reacted differently when he was young. He doesn't do such stuff anymore.

What did Mourinho say initially to spur Conte into this?
"Because I don't behave as a clown on the touchline, it means I have lost my passion? Passion is about your work, not what you do for the cameras"

David Moyes used to look like Pennywise so maybe Jose was talking about him?

Weak retort. Exactly what you would expect from man who couldn't accept his baldness.
Why would you accept it if you can do something about it? This is one of the things I keep seeing here that makes no sense. It is very natural for a man to want to keep his hair. Not everyone has those semi -inbred Liverpudlian genes which surprisingly give you a good scalp.

Didn't work for Wayne Rooney though.

Neither of them get anything out of this, other than both looking stupid.

Conte isn't a clown, he just simply is a cnut. I'll never forget his appalling behaviour after our defeat to Chelsea this season.

I fully think Mourinho was talking about himself as well as well. I mean the guy used to poke people's eyes out.

The last thing we need is another manager feud. Mourinho, Pep, Klopp and Conte have all become tiresome. Edit Forget Wenger him too.

It'd be fun if Klopp decided to weigh in on the matter too. :D

Thats twice now that Conte has assumed Jose was talking about him despite Jose not even mentioning him by name.

Anyone but Rashford
Mourinho acknowledged that he was the same way hence saying he matured.

I think Conte's a little paranoid here if he thinks Jose was solely targeting him. He's not that special.

That's a win for Jose. Its not mature but i used to love it when SAF riled up other managers, want to see more mind games from Jose here.

Well, it makes a change from the tiresome decade long Mourinho-Wenger feud.
Not sure Wenger vs Mourinho counts as a fight/feud considering the ridiculously one sided nature of that "clash".

Mourinho's dominance over Wenger in all aspects of management/mind games/ results is akin to something like Manchester United's dominance over Oldham FC: its just not a contest!

I hope Jose keeps having cracks. Collop (Conte/Klopp, geddit) will take all the bait. Fully expect Klopp to gob off asap.

If I was Jose I would wind Conte up no end.

I subbed Fellaini on so I could hair-plug (slowly looks up to camera) sorry, plug the gap in midfield.
Not even after a Chelsea game, after a random home game v a minnow.

Then simply deny doing it on purpose and for Conte to control his emotions in future

Is this a message to Mourinho?
