We really need to work on our finishing. Could have easily been 3 or 4.

Overall, very good performance.

Really, really enjoyed that. I though we played crisp, fluent football from the off.

Yeah there were a few loose final balls but by and large that was a great watch, finished off by two fine goals!

Special mention to Smalling, Shaw, Herrera, Lingard and Mata who were all excellent. Pogba was good if a bit casual at times, Romero had a fine game as well and Lukaku and Martial delivered when they came on.

Good night's work.

Quite enjoyed that actually.

Lingard continuing his great from.

Chuffed for Lukaku to get a goal! 10 day break, hope the lads can relax and be fresh and ready for the next game. Happy weekend all!

Good performance, up to pen box, but profligacy in front of goal is killing us. Hopefully goal will do Lukaku a world of good, and Jesse...just keep doing what your doing.

Beautiful night. All those missed chances, I thought we'll play 0:0 or lose against the run of play.
Totally deserved. Lingard has had some upturn in form! And so glad for Lukaku.
Also Shaw, picking up starts and good games. Ander and Mata good too. Like Lindelof, although he's not a RB had a decent game I thought.

Mickhi's days are numbered I feel and I hope Marcus will pick up his form.

Great game for our attacking play. If we had scored earlier in the game, it would have easily been 4/5-0.

How did Derby manage to lose only by 2 goals lol.

Should have been 5 at least.

Deserved win. We pretty much dominated the game and created loads of good chances, it was frustrating that we couldn’t take them in the 1st half.

Stunning goal by Lingard and pleased Rom is back on scoresheet too.

28 shots, hit the post twice. Score line should have been even more comfortable.

Exciting game, very good play, definitely deserved the win just left it late after hitting the post twice and a few good saves from Carson.

Good game. Nice to see Lingard rack up the stats, great to see Lukaku score.

Nothing much to complain about, except for Rashford's and Mkhi's performances. Get the feeling Mkhi wants out, so we can't expect anything more from him. But Rashford needs to improve.

We deserved the victory even if it was a hard-fought one. Derby, as usual, gave us a tough match, but in the end, we saw them off.

Whilst there was some sloppiness in the final third, I love how we've become much more incisive and quick with our passing. Herrera, once again, was crucial in setting the tempo, and the rest did much better in combining with each other than in the past. It's a good sign to see the players be more attacking in their football and understanding of each other rather than just playing their own game individually.

There's still a bit of inconsistency in spurts from our side, but as things are going at the moment, we are starting to iron them out.

Derby were rubbish but still played them off the park. Shaw was my MOTM, thought Mata played well until he came off. Pogba controlled the game well and that's the best I've seen Herrera play in a while, he was looking to put the ball forward so his attacking seemed good today. Very pleased, no new injuries and there's a bit of a break till the next match now isn't there?

Given how we dominated that game it’d have been a farce not to win it.

What more can be said about Messi Lingard? He broke the deadlock with a banger again. If a £60m signing was doing what Jesse’s doing everyone would be saying ‘bargain.’

Great to see Herrera back again. Maybe sorting out his contact situation has revived his confidence?

Great to see Rom back on the scoresheet too. Heaven knows how he controlled Pogba’s hack. After that though such composed play.

PS) Rashford’s looking a little lacking in self belief. Hopefully he’ll score soon and get his oomph back.

Decent performance overall, Rashford's been rubbish lately and Mkhi and Blind won't have attracted any suitors with their performances tonight but all positives aside from that. Only other issue I have is Lindelof at RB potentially becoming a long-term thing, but it's good to see him getting game time.

Genuinely enjoyed that game, great attacking play and I just knew we'd score. We were in control and looked to attack quickly every time we won possession.

We're looked good (and different) going forward in recent weeks. Jose seems to be focusing a lot more on attack and playing more risky football.

Not to get carried away though, it's only Derby.

That was a pretty good game and we played fairly well. Much better once Mkhitaryan went off. Although Rashford was terrible again which is a concern

fair play to Mourinho - every move he made was positive and to win the game

had he done something like this vrs Leicester we'd have won

Rashford in 2 years scores a couple of goals on a night like tonight

very good performance and total domination

We looked good again. Derby are no mugs so that was very pleasing. Should really have been a higher margin as well given the chances we created!

Didn't think the goal was going to come after we hit the post the second time, felt like it was going to be one of those nights, then Lingard steps up with another top drawer strike to get the job done! :D

It was late but it ended great! Loved the goals.

maybe Jose should try Mkhitaryan as no10? I think he will be sold this summer.
