May as well get her started.
The Dubs beat today, always nice to see even if it was their 3rd team.
Armagh vs Derry called off due to frozen pitch. Can see Armagh struggling big time this year after such a promising championship last year (forget the Tyrone game:eek:), given the number of key players opting out of the panel. Hopefull still have it in us to get out of a sticky looking division 3 and finally get a win in Ulster.

Predictions for the year:
All-Ireland: Mayo
Ulster: Tyrone
Connacht: Mayo
Munster: Kerry
Leinster: Dubs.

Club AI: Slaughtneill

Hurling: Wouldn't know a whole pile about it now, but I’ll go for The Cats to win back Leinster, but don’t think theres another AI in them, Tipp to win Munster and as for the AI, remains to be seen if Galway can replicate how good they were last year, I’ll go for Tipp to win it.

I'm heading on a 4 hour Round Trip next Sunday to See Westmeath play Offaly in an O'Byrne cup semi Final. Now that is dedication

McKenna cup semi between Armagh and Donegal postponed this evening, with final meant to be this weekend can’t see it being refixed and given our injury list this close to the league wouldn’t mind if Geezer just conceded it.

Galway to clean up again.

There'll be two Cannning's now for teams to deal with - Joe & his nephew. What a sight that'll be.

I am. Am off to Laois now on Sunday.
Best of luck. We'd have liked a bit of silverware. But after a positive first two games in the O'Byrne Cup, we reverted to type in Mullingar on Sunday. Very disappointing performance.

Hard to argue with your provinces but Mayo will win no All Ireland and I say that being a Mayo supporter. Team is coming to its end, its further from it we'll be getting. I'll be shocked if we make another final.

Dublin v Kildare tonight. Nice to be back in Div 1 and I'm slightly hopeful we can just about stay up with a bit of luck. We're obviously the closest team to the Dubs in Leinster but that's not saying much. Hopefully we can at least give them a game. Getting within 10 points of them would, sadly, be considered a good result.

2 points up at half time. Probably still lose but nice to see our lads not taking any shit off Cooper and his cronies of faux tough guys.

I'm in Pearse Stadium now. Great crowd for a 2nd string Galway team against Antrim.

I love Hurling, corner back for Gort Junior B's. It Keeps me going over the moon it's back.

Myself and fellow clubman Aiden Harte. One of the proudest moments in my life was to hold that cup and be from the County that's the Champions of Ireland.

Great picture mate. Always hated Galway for 98 but have a soft spot for the hurlers.

Great win for Armagh today against a poor Sligo team. Great crowd in AG as always, we’ll need 6 points at home this year if we want to go up, tough enough league, especially with the amount of lads we’ve lost from last year.

How’d Clifford get on today against Donegal if anyone saw the game?

Another battling performance from Kildare only to lose by 2 points away to Donegal. Ref sent Eoin Doyle off for a second yellow 17 minutes in for losing his mouth piece and failing to put it back in. Ridiculous stuff. Is it now mandatory to wear one?

Of course if it were the Dubs, the ref would stop the game, hand wash the mouth piece himself and put it back into the players mouth! :wenger:

Very proud Moment for me as My Son and his St Brigids Team from South Belfast qualified for the A Feile and will go on to represent Antrim.

Munster hurling is insane this year. I'd seen highlights of the previous rounds and seen all the comments about it, but that was the first full match I've watched. The drama!
Haven’t been following the hurling much tbh, but watching the Sunday game at the minute and Limerick seem to be flying, Clare and Tipp match looked unreal too.

We should have enough in us to beat Sligo, they were shocking in Armagh when we beat them in the league, but I’m sure they’ll have improved since then and we’ve lost a few through injury, pity we didn’t get home advantage. Few tasty ties, Tipp and Mayo should be half decent, Kildare and Longford as well as Cavan and Down.

So Clare vs Cork in the Munster and Kilkenny vs Galway in the Leinster. Both Wexford and Limerick still in it (you'd expect them to win their next games).

Who's your money on?

As a Clare man I've been very impressed by us this championship. Even the loss the Cork was by fine margins. If we can sort out our accuracy (although it was good today) I think we can beat anyone on our day. Having said that, if I was a betting neutral man, I'd back Galway with how they've hurled.

Galway Connacht Champions in football.

It was a dacent game in the end, given the conditions I was cynical beforehand.

It's kinda weird though, knowing how good the Dubs are just waiting out there takes the gloss off a biteen of any Connacht championship.

Ref is shocking
Not watched much Football but in hurling, the standard of refereeing has been absolutely shocking this year. Clare vs Tipp a few weeks back the ref would give a foul for one thing then refuse to give anything for the exact same foul a few minutes later. There was a phantom goal in the Waterford game and a red card for the offender AND the victim for getting hit in the Limerick vs Clare game
