We will always come up short in these games against the have a go hero teams because we dont have anyone to give the players a bollocking. Keane would have destroyed Smalling for that dive the resultant goal.
All of them.Who's the leader at City? Just curious.
They don't really need one, if they make a mistake they end up scoring 5.Who's the leader at City? Just curious.
Shouting at people doesn't make you a good leader. We will always come up short in these games against the have a go hero teams because we dont have anyone to give the players a bollocking. Keane would have destroyed Smalling for that dive the resultant goal.
It was. The leader is Pep. We lack a leader that understands that he is fallible and his football and tactics are garbage.I watched City score 5 yesterday and it wasn't down to leadership.
Are you saying all Keano had was shouting?Shouting at people doesn't make you a good leader.
Pep.Who's the leader at City? Just curious.
De Bruyne. Purely by being the best player in the league and driving them all forward and dictating play.Who's the leader at City? Just curious.
I am not old enough to remember Keane play for us. I was referring to you saying players need a 'bollocking' when talking about lack of leaders. Are you saying all Keano had was shouting?
We need more from the coaching staff. Martial and Rashford were coached better under Van Gaal. One of the very very few positives of his reign here. I disagree about his reaction. I remember ckearly Ronaldo at that age missing an open goal away to Sheffield United and hanging his head. Fergie shouted something at him and clapped him. And his body language changed. I don't blame the players. City have a better Manager who is clearly the leader. I don't believe City have more leaders than we do.Yea I agree I think we need a leader. I was going to create a thread about our players being too nice.
I think you need some players who will try and win at all costs like we had with Keane, Schmeichel, Cantona, Rooney and Ronaldo in the past. We don't have that kind of player now.
Watching Martial's reaction when he missed that double chance was infuriating to me. Ronaldo would have been pissed off if he had missed those which is the reaction you need
So it's no leaders we are lacking, but rather great players in great form.De Bruyne. Purely by being the best player in the league and driving them all forward and dictating play.
We lack both. But if you've got a player playing like de Bruyne, it has a positive effect on everyone around them.So it's no leaders we are lacking, but rather great players in great form.
Well, yes. The play the way they do in part due to Guardiola. I just take issue with the suggestion that shouting at other players will improve us.It was. The leader is Pep. We lack a leader that understands that he is fallible and his football and tactics are garbage.
That's a bit of a weird example of leadership, considering he was made to leave about a month later. We lack both. But if you've got a player playing like de Bruyne, it has a positive effect on everyone around them.
If we had Keano in our side, he'd probably have a list ready to air on MUTV of those that aren't good enough.
You're right. It won't. Mourinho has too many issues publicly with too many players. It was Shaw, then Mkhi, then Herrera, then Martial and now Pogba. We now have Sanchez and our football is still garbage. What we had in Fergie that he understood was to play with tempo and be direct. That causes more porblems even when your team has avwrage players. Mourinho is far too one dimensional in his approach.Well, yes. The play the way they do in part due to Guardiola. I just take issue with the suggestion that shouting at other players will improve us.
What issues? Shaw, Mhki and Martial weren't giving enough. That's reason to drop them. Same with Pogba and Herrera's been awful. They should be dropped for not being good enough. You're right. It won't. Mourinho has too many issues publicly with too many players. It was Shaw, then Mkhi, then Herrera, then Martial and now Pogba. We now have Sanchez and our football is still garbage. Tend to agree with this. Rooney was ok but sadly his game declined. We will always come up short in these games against the have a go hero teams because we dont have anyone to give the players a bollocking. Keane would have destroyed Smalling for that dive the resultant goal.
Maybe in Ronaldo's early years. In his last few years he would have lambasted himself for missing. We need more from the coaching staff. Martial and Rashford were coached better under Van Gaal. One of the very very few positives of his reign here. I disagree about his reaction. I remember ckearly Ronaldo at that age missing an open goal away to Sheffield United and hanging his head. Did for Keane.Shouting at people doesn't make you a good leader.
