Something's gone on with four players breaking a curfew and potentially getting locked up in Spain at a warm weather training camp.

What's happened and who do we think was involved?

Hmm probably will be a while before the details emerge but I wouldn't be surprised if the incident was some kind of protest against Pardew's dance moves.

Was going to blame Berahino but he's wasting away at Stoke now.

They've probably heard "taxi for Nyom" so much that they decided to take it literally.

(The genuine highlight for me of West Brom's entire season was when Bouffal made Nyom and Dawson crash into each other).

Probably the most attacking move West Brom have made in decades.

To be fair to Evans most of us would have done the exact same thing if we were heavily linked to Arsenal.

Interesting what the taxi driver was doing & how they got his keys. Unless they wired it.

Gareth Barry is literally the last person in that squad I would have expected it to have been. I always imagined him to be even more boring than boring James Milner.

Still only me who's noticed how much of a cnut Livermore is?

Or are we still letting him get away with everything because of a bereavement? Every few months he's doing something wrong

What else has he done? Genuine question.

West Brom players Gareth Barry, Jonny Evans, Jake Livermore and Boaz Myhill have apologised after a taxi was stolen from outside a fast-food restaurant in Barcelona on Thursday.

The quartet were interviewed but not arrested by police after the incident, which happened in the early hours of the morning and is being investigated by the Premier League club.

"We felt it important we identify ourselves out of respect for team-mates who otherwise could be implicated by association," they said in a statement.

West Brom and Northern Ireland defender Evans 30, former England midfielder Barry 36, England international Livermore, 28, and reserve goalkeeper Myhill, 35, said they wanted to apologise for "the events which have been the subject of widespread and negative publicity".

Mossos d'Esquadra - the Catalan regional police force - had told BBC Sport the four players involved wanted to go out in Barcelona, but found everything closed so took a taxi to a fast-food restaurant.

When they left, at approximately 05:30, it is alleged they took the taxi and drove back to their hotel - without the driver.

The players added: "We would like to assure our supporters that this incident does not reflect the determination and resolve we possess to do all we can to recover a difficult season."

The club said it had "instigated its own investigation into the incident" and said the players "will be subject to the full rigours of our internal disciplinary procedures".
Police were alerted by the hotel and taxi driver, who was reunited with his vehicle at about 08:00.

Strange thing about this is that none of them are particularly young. Give me hope as an old bastard that we can be as dumb as a 20 year old.
United started well then Chelsea scored against run of play. After that Chelsea controlled the game until the last 10 minutes of the half when United came back into it. I'd say Reece James was Chelsea's best player and Chong ours. Not a game of massive quality.

I'd argue that the determination and resolve they showed to get some food is exactly what they need to exhibit on the pitch in order to recover their season.

Evans was one of those players Ferguson fined before that match against Blackburn around 2010/11-ish wasn't he?
