His focus and direct play was restored a couple weeks back and the Palace game was a massive lift for player and team.

I guess it's a good thing that Milner is brainless, otherwise that could've resulted in some brain damage.
For the same reason, Salah struggled for Chelsea 3 years ago, I think we'll see more of Rashford next season especially with new width support which we should aim to add new proper fullback like Sandro, he improved every season since he breaks into LVG's team. Having Lukaku as a target man is helping Rashford as they drew out a defender from their position which Rashford will exploit huge space.

I'm dying for this to happen. I hope Rashford can be United's number ten for years and years. He has all the potential to have a similar impact to Thomas Muller at Bayern.

If he could only add that airal threat of Ronaldo a sky would be a limit for him. Absolutely love him and hope he reaches his full potential. You could tell how much it meant for him being a local lad, he just gets it. Rashford is a red...
Hmm I don't think his dribbling and decision making in tight spaces are close either, in 2005 (when Ronaldo was 20) Ronaldo was pretty good at both and a year away from his break through season in 2006. Rashford whilst very good yesterday has been pretty hit and miss on the wing this season.
Not too bash him too hard though, Rashford's orginal position is a striker, so he has the qualities and game knowledge of being a striker that Ronaldo didn't have at the same age.
His shooting technique has improved massively. It's got real swerve and dip just like Ronaldo. I remember when we first saw him it was a bit hit and miss. Everything is improving slowly. He's gonna be some player in 3/4 years from now.

He’s hit the bar and post with some absolute stonking shots this season too. He gets incredible power on them.
I just cant wait for him to develop physically and get stronger. He is still sometimes a bit gangly and bambi ish.... some more strength and power I think will add to to his precision and consistency. Then we will have a serious player.

just dont add too much, so it doesnt affect his agility, he's of good size for winger, just need to learn how to use his strength better. Nani for instance was never the strongest but could use his body strength really well
Nani was a incredible physically. I would of said he was probably one of the best in that regards in our squad when he was around.
I dont mean bulking up, just growing up. However if he wants to follow Cristiano's physical regimen which helped take him from a skillful teenager to a physical beast that is also fine by me.

31 goals on 2 seasons and half, most of them were on the left wing. Can't imagine some were comparing him to Welbeck who only scored 29 goals in all his tenure here.

That's just not true, he was very obviously out of form, he was misplacing simple passes, over-complicating things, shooting when there were better options and broke down a number of good attacks. He had an amazing game but let's not rewrite history, he's been poor since he lost his place in the team, Palace and yesterday were the first signs he might be regaining some form which is good for our end of season run-in.
At the same time he's been very unlucky, I remember he went on a run where he kept hitting the post, I think he's hit it at least 5 times this season, also had a couple shots cleared off the line. If he was 5% luckier it probably would have changed a lot of perspectives during his dry spell. I think one thing that can't be faulted is his movement. Yes, I think he's been a little sulky when he doesn't get the right pass but he's always making the right runs.
Exactly i've been saying it as well after than Leicester game or around that time.
It's also important to remember he is very young and needs proper guidance. None of the player of this type, i mean quick, pacy half-wingers, half-forwards have exceptional "football brain" when they are young. In fact all of them are prone to over-complicating things, being a bit selfish and etc. Just remember Ronaldo. He used to dribble and try some outrageous shots while a clear passing option was available.
I think the guy has a real talent and his development should be one the to priorities for the club. It will be criminal to lose such a talent.

Cannot wait for Giggsy to manage the club - he is one of the only people who said that Martial, Rashford need to be playing in partnerships & the same goes for Lukaku.

We did lose Pogba for example. And with us signing Sanchez, i don't know. I can see how we could lose Rash, of course i hope i won't happen.
