  • Twenty-eight of Manchester United's league games have been shown live
  • Premier League champions Manchester City have been on TV 25 times

Ed and the board will be jumping for joy I guess.
I very much doubt it. It's not really there job to make sure the club turns a profit and neither is it in the club's interest.

wow

really interesting to see the correlation between TV appearances and league position

Poor Swansea, Stoke and West Brom doomed by Sky/BT

lots of teams a place or two away from league position

This is the cult of personality folks.
United are the biggest draw due to our history under Sky and Jose is a huge attraction due to his previous antics as Chelsea boss. It matters little that our games have been largely dross.

If anything, this is evidence, if we even needed it, that the majority of football viewers are casual fans not watching because of any interest in current quality.

The difference between us and Chelsea is enough to pay Fellaini's wages for about a year and a half.
Aye, but it's peanuts really.

Had no idea there was such a difference between bottom and top of the table.. Hey ho though, disgusting amounts of money and the sooner the arse drops out of professional football the better.

That's fair enough since no one really switches on the TV to watch the random club in Manchester.

The other Manchester team better accept that money can buy you players, and flash, and bling, and stadiums, and even titles; but supporters and a committed, interested, could give a feck audience is an entirely different kettle of fish. Guardiola my ass. Redcafe take note.

Not surprised, more people want to watch us. Bigger fan base and an actual fan base as well.
