And how the feck would you know how complicated the deal is?

People literally have no clue what they're talking about half the time on this place
Because it's not complicated.

I don't understand how some are defending this while we have seen how our signings take time literally every summer.

Feck sake. I'm not annoyed of them signing him, I'm annoyed of how quickly they finished the deal while we're still waiting for days to finish the signing of someone like Fred. We're the slowest club when it comes to transfers that's for sure.
Fred’s with Brazil. Fabinho is on his holibobs as he wasn’t deemed worthy of a place.

Well that was a quick turnaround. Is his misses any good at football? Might be worth signing to the United woman’s team just for the banter. Hopefully she’ll be more successful than he will.

Good player, still think he is a better RB than DM. He and Keita will be intresting, both full of energy running about breaking stuff up Keita being the more attacking option.

I hope those posting that they are annoyed at this are being sarcastic? But unfortunately I don’t think you are!

If we actually wanted him, he would be a Utd player. That’s not because Utd are bigger than Liverpool blah blah, but because he’s clearly been available for a long time. A bit like when Mahrez goes to City, if we wanted him, we would have got a deal done.

Transfers don’t just happen overnight, they will have been working on this for months, which is the same for us. They didn’t play Saturday night, wake up Sunday bud for a player and get it wrapped up the next day!

Utd are linked with dozens and dozens of players each year, so it’s likely whoever we buy, we will have been linked to for many months - but remember the 20-30 players we were also linked to who we were not interested in. Same thing every summer.

Why are people getting so worked up at Liverpool signing Fabinho so early? This is the first major signing of note...anywhere. We have ages yet in the transfer window and a World Cup on the horizon.

Come on now!

"Can Manchester United score? They always score"
We have dropped the ball yet again while Woodward is somewhere fantasising about a galactico player. Liverpool now have arguably the best midfield in the PL - Keita and Fabinho will destroy teams next season.

What are we doing for goodness sake. You can always trust Man Utd not to address the gaping problems in the squad. The management is currently Bale-drunk when we should be beefing up the midfield and the full back areas.

This is a big L to United.
Do people never learn?

Just because we are linked to a player because the media know we are perfect clickbait doesn't mean we are interested in a player. The Bale stories run every year. It's like the Gaitan ones. Just a little bit more glamorous.

We had all out transfer business completed early last year. It's bloody May FFS.

Get a grip!
Lets wait till the summer is over before Passing judgements. Fabinho is a good player but not a world class player. People need to relax.

Also how do you know we are 'Bale drunk', we have been linked with Aldereweireid, Sandro and Fred way more than we have been with Bale.
The Bale comments made all the journos start writing up stories about United wanting to sign him.

The fact that it’s a World Cup year is exactly the reason why we should get our business’s done early.

I'll be honest, i've never rated the guy. Everything ive seen of him he looked a bit clumsy.

The Caf seemed a bit keen on him though, but i'm not too bothered by this.

So signing a player who isn't even world class from Ukrainian league is now considered complicated for a team like United ? If you're believing then you're just searching for any excuse to justify your opinion.

If signing Fred is complicated then God bless us on the other signings post WC.

Wow, that was as quick as with Silva last year when City bought him. I guess Monaco is pretty easy to deal with?
They probably said "one more season then you can leave", get business done before WC = best for all parties, he gets a full pre season with the team

He's not a right back and we've barely been linked with him at all since transfer rumours started up again

What? Have you read this thread?

He has barely played right back since 2015. We been linked with Sidibe.

Can't people get a break from meltdowns?

At least wait till the season starts, there'll be enough of them then.

Jeez people, stop over hyping players that go to other clubs. All of a sudden you are all experts on Fabinho, and he will tear PL apart. And they will win everything next season, it's their year. La. :houllier:

Generally agree.

I feel with Liverpool getting them and a new GK and possibly a new CB to partner with VVD, they’ll have one of the best balanced starting Xl’s in the league.

Then again it’s Liverpool so feck them but there’s reason for concern being a United supporter. We gotta go shot for shot to match and up the moves they make so let’s see what Ed does.

Will be a chess game all summer long.

How have we dropped the ball? If we'd have saw Fabinho as the fight fit for other midfield, we'd have gone all out to get him last summer but we didn't. Keita and Fabinho best PL midfield? They've not even played in the same side yet, way too early to be claiming that.

Which area haven't we strengthened under Jose in a transfer window? You can say full backs but those areas have only come under scrutiny this season, a season were Young has had a great season.

We cannot simply sign 6-7 players in one window, the squad harmony would be torn to shreds, I get that it's a tedious and long drawn out process but it's important to do it the right way, which I feel Jose is doing.

The window has only been open a week, we won't be sitting on our hands, we'll have deals being put together as we speak. Think people need to calm down a bit.

lol, Fabinho and Keita, neither of which have played a minute in the PL, is now arguably the best midfield in the league

Weren't they all completed before the start of the season last year?
There's World Cup this year. There's literally a month when we won't be able to make deals or negotiations with most players in the world, and the transfers deadline is on the first day of the season this year so we'll basically have 1.5 month to get all the players we need this summer. People aren't on the panic on the moment as we're still in May, but time will run quickly.

We have signed loads of players early in an out-of-nowhere fashion. Additionally I don't understand how Liverpool signing a player that was barely linked to us (by any credible source anyway) is an L for United.

Also, it's fecking May. Calm down.

This forum is having some sort of a ridiculous meltdown of nonsense this past few days.
