:(

Doesn't surprise me, unfortunately.

He was on course for a place in the French WC squad until the arrival of Sanchez. He's not really been valued by the club.

Yeah, fair enough.

In an ideal world he'd stay but I think we could reinvest in more important areas and become stronger for it.

Don’t sell to Spurs or any other English club.

Don't care as long as we bring in a WC RW. He's been a disappointment. Sure he'll do well elsewhere, but he's not cut the mustard with us unfortunately.

Damn :(

Gutted if he goes. I can’t blame him for wanting first team football though, it must hurt missing the World Cup.

Sell him, insert a buy-back clause for the next 3 years and bring him back when he could be a starter or a spot gets free (e.g. Sanchez declining)

How come we never have shit players that want to leave us? It's mostly young and exciting prospects, or in general good players.

Oh well life goes on. We're Manchester United, this club is bigger than any player.

Bit weird how none of them have performed though? Sanchez, Rashford, Mata, Martial all been wank under Jose and these aren’t wank players.

I’m fairly certain if Martial was at Spurs or dare I say it Liverpool he’d be ripping it up.

Because good players think or know that they can join very good clubs and either play or earn more.

How much? £50, £60 mil?
Imo £60m minimum.

Whether that be £50m + £10m in bonuses/add ons or just £60m upfront...he’s got undoubted talent, is inconsistent, and hasn’t figured it out here at United. Another team if they can get him to figure it out will get a quality player.

Win-win for the club(United) and player(Martial).

Not the right thread to get into that, but yeah Jose and his lack of tactics when it comes to attacking has a lot of the blame, it's no coincidence how our most dangerous players often look so blunt under his management.

Not a surprise after how he's been treated. Wish him well wherever he goes, and make no mistake, he'll become a top player. Unfortunately with Mourinho here, I dont think Martial would ever have developed properly or gotten past an "inconsistent" type of stage. He needs the change of scenery, play style and maybe bring thrown out of his comfort zone which he might be here at United to reach his potential. Cant Blake him at all, he does have himself to look after.

Will be a travesty if we dont add a quality right winger now since we'll be losing him.

Was he really, though?
Think about it. Shunted out wide to the left, away from his favoured position, his number given up for Zlatan (yes that's small time and pathetic, but it probably did mean something to him), then replaced by a 29 year old player in the team who's performances were probably half as good as Tony's in the run up to the purchase.

He'll do well for a club that values him and builds the team around him.
