After what we've seen from the competition so far, a good performance and result tomorrow and we'll all be believing again.

Sweden, Belgium and England to win! Seriously though, apart from Germany losing, the European sides have been killing it so far.

Some pretty shit games. Sweden vs South Korea is the only one that has a chance to be any kind of contest, anything else would be a gigantic surprise.

I say this knowing that I may well be laughing at England tomorrow, but still, that's three really unimpressive games to take up a day.

Not long to go before this becomes a reality...

I’d tempered my optimism and would have been fine with a round of 16 or quarter final knockout but with no one looking great my optimism is rising now, just going to make the inevitable knock out all the worse.

Well good luck to England - I shall support you mainly due to all the Spurs players in the side and hope they in particular do well for you.

Anyone know if Rashford is fit to hopefully start tomorrow?

You’re all hilarious. Germany lose and the conversation was immediately about how it might make an easier path for England to get to the semis.

Tunisia will sit in and nick one from a set piece.

Tunisia looked well in their friendlies but I still see England winning easily 2-0.

Winning England and easily shouldn't be in the same sentence. We could be playing against 11 aardvarks, that happened to be a lower-league aardvark team missing their best players, and we'd still labour to a win at best

Have some confidence, you'll pass the group this time at least. :D

Will be interesting to see Sweden. We have completely forgotten how to score goals, so this game could easily turn into a boring 0-0. England and Belgium should win quite comfortably. Expecting lots of goals from those games.

Pickford is a surprise. Also no Cahill, he has some experience. But looks decent
It’s not really a surprise that Pickford is in from the warm up games and squad numbers tbh.

Maybe not a surprise, but i rate Butland higher and didnt expect Pickford to start. There is something about Pickford that irks me, i thought he was better at Sunderland than nowadays. You know better, but i dont rate him as high as some other people around here from what i saw since his move.

Come on ENGLAND!

I'm going to say 2 -1 England. Harry Kane x 2 .
