@pocco Im getting these ads myself on a laptop for different products. Click on the square to the left of the X on the far right and it will give you options to stop getting them. When I click on mine it says they are ads by GumGum. I can provide a screenshot but this is a copy and paste of what it says

I was getting this last night on my phone every time I was on the site. Appreciate the site needs to make some money from ads, but found that particular type very annoying

I get the same landrover pop up at the bottom of the screen, on mobile and desktop.

if you hit enter it opens a new pop up with the full ad.

@Niall I get these as well and they’re incredibly invasive. Clicking the “x” doesn’t close the ad - just directs you to the advert site, which might be its job but it’s putting me off using redcafe at the minute

Currently something about BMW’s.

The website makes it's money from ads.. We all have ad-blocking extensions but choose to disable it on Redcafe

Just had a Les miserables one, closed it only for the LG one to pop up straight after. Not had it that often on my phone. It's getting quite invasive now as both open new tabs. Is anything being done about this?

Yes but it’s a whackamole situation. Remove one and invariably another pops up.

Can you please post details of any dodgy ads like this? Screenshot, URL of page you’re redirected to etc. Thanks.

I only use my mobile for Caf and these banner ads distorts the layout of the site, stretching it to accomodate the full graphic.

On my mobile I used to be able to roll all the way down and click on the Home, Forums, etc. button on the bottom bar but the ad now render it impossible. On the flip side I have contributed my part to the caf by clicking 3498234 times on the same ad :(
