I like him. Classy, left footed CB who is good on the ball. Would be a good partner for Smalling.

Good player but we need a leader back there. I still haven’t given up on Lindelof coming good and have high hopes for Axel. Surely another project centre back is not required right now.

He's better than Lindelof mate. One of the best young defenders. If he realizes his potential in 2-3 years time could be worth easily 2 times what he is now.

Left footed and pretty good distribution as well it's a no brainer if he is available.

Italian media loves speculating about any and every player but the lack of any news whatsoever about this transfer leads me to believe the reports of us bidding for him are false.

Lindelof is having a great world cup, he just needs a better partner. If Bailly wasn't so injury prone we could do with giving them a run of games together, really.

Think that was Jose long term plan going into last season. Remember Lindelof and Smalling forming a fairly decent partnership for a spell last season.

Would always welcome good Italian defender and being left footed is a massive bonus. Just think we then have to sell one off Lindelof, Axel or even Bailly if we sign this guy. No way Jose plays two defenders between 21-25 as his centre backs next season but we shall see.

Italy have this habit of producing some truly great defenders. Would be nice for us to get some of that.

I do think we'd have to let one go if we're really going for him though.

I don't know anything about him to be honest. It does seem a new CB is high on the radar so balls out of the bathtub....who is leaving?

One of them has to be.

Gun to head....

Lindelof, on loan. With the long-term plan being, if he shines on loan, summer 2019 he returns and we sell Jones or Rojo, probably both.

Was expecting more development from him, but it doesn't seems to be happening. I know he's just 23, but I'm not convinced by his performances.

Mind you, Lindelof has shown us all that despite it seeming to be incredibly difficult, it is possible to flap at the ball with your head.

Cant he head the ball?
Romagnoli is very good in the air, and even the statistics back up what you see in-game:
Romagnoli has been a vital component of a resurgent Rossoneri outfit so far this season as he’s won the most aerial duels of any defender in the squad (50) and has also recorded the joint-highest number of clearances (136) in 22 Serie A appearances.
Link.

That said, the Premier League is on another dimension in the air, relative to Serie A — and he will need to acclimatize to the torrid aerial nature of the game. He really a lot of qualities that you need in a central defender and is an adept reader of the game for his age, however, his progression stalled a bit last season while Škriniar's stock skyrocketed at Inter — whether that was a minor blip in the grand of things or indicative of more profound underlying issues remains to be seen.

Ac Milan had a horrible season last year. They had their owners changing, a horde of new players coming in followed by a managerial change

All i can say is that milanese fans are quite hapoy to lose bonucci but they wanted to rip our heads off the moment we were linked with romagnoli
