If Brazil don't win in Qatar will that be longest stretch they've gone without winning tournament? 20 years and counting since they won the World cup now.

Lots of retirements incoming, Marcelo, Paulinho, Renato Agusto, Felipe Luis, Thiago Silva, Dani Alves, Fernandinho and Miranda all 30 or over.

Really disappointed with their level of play in this world cup. Genuinely looked a world cup winning team in qualifiers but relied too much on individualism here.

16 years and counting. The count will be up to 20 next World Cup.

Created some great chances at the end, never gave up, especially Renato Augusto's second and Coutinho at the end were good opportunities but poor finishes. Can't really complain as it was poor finishing that did it in the end.

This Brazil generation is hard to root for. So many unlikeable players.

Almost impossible to have any sympathy with Brazil while having that cheating twat Neymar around. My mind blows when I think he will be supposedly the best player after Ronaldo and Messi. :houllier:

No they didn't won between 1970 to 1994.

Must say I am the worst predictor here, was supporting Uruguay and of course France won and I didn't expected Belgium to win, even if I think there was 1 penalty who sould have been awarded to Brazil on the second half (not Neymar).

From now on I will just watch and not make predictions, I am getting this all wrong.

I'd care more for Brazil if a single United player actually played for them, but as they don't they can get fecked.

We went 24 years without winning a World Cup. 19 years without a Copa America. Brazil will manage. I’m proud of the boys and Tite.

TBH their level was much worse in 2014 but home advantage pulled them through two more rounds than they should've gone.

This campaign was more like 2006 and possibly 2010. Looked good before tournament but possibly too top heavy in final third.

Tite's halo will slip a fair bit now. Him keeping in Gabi Jesus all through the tournament looks very misguided, would've made more sense to me to push Coutinho into front 3 and have 3 in central midfield as they've been doing for last 18 months.

Neymar not winning a World cup is good for football. Will get one more chance in Qatar.
