Starts off reasonable enough and then starts the Martial crap:

Manchester United have agreed a deal to bring in Hirving Lozano from PSV Eindhoven this summer, according to multiple reports.

United are reported to have struck a €42million (£37m) fee with the Dutch outfit to bring the player to Old Trafford as what is expected to be Anthony Martial’s replacement.

The previous thread hasn't seen activity since November last year.

I doubt he was a target before the WC and I cant believe we'd target him because of the World Cup

No mention of the actual source of the news, just says "multiple reports" and "are reported to have struck a fee". Sounds highly dubious to say the least.

We were linked to him when he played with Pachuca two years ago. Last year he was heavily rumoured to be joining City before he signed with PSV

Would absolutely love us to get him

Been following him since we were linked back in his Pachuca days and watched a fair amount of PSV. The guy is class.

Isn't he another right footed player who prefers playing on the left a la Sanchez? That said he looks a player from what I've seen during this World Cup.

I'd take him in a heartbeat and play him at RW, even though he's played on the left for Mexico. He could potentially be a world class player within 2-4 years.

Why not just play Martial there if we're expecting players to learn a new position?

Was it not the case that last summer his dad, and possibly his club, were saying he had signed for United? Next thing he’s flying in for a medical with City. Next thing he’s signed for PSV.

It was bizarre!

He played the majority of last season on the right for PSV. Seems he's comfortable on either wings.

I'd actually prefer playing Sanchez on the right and Martial on the left. Good wide players should be able to play on either side imo and I think this combination would produce the greater good for us. It feels like Jose's issues with Martial are personal though.

I wouldn't mind giving this lad a shot. I thought he was a right footer playing on the left, but apparently he's more than happy playing with both feet and as somebody pointed out to me, he's played very well for PSV on the right this season.

I liked what I saw from him in the world cup, he seemed really dangerous.

His speed / dribbling would be a welcome addition especially on the RW. I hope it's true but we need a more concrete source before I get excited.

I saw an article from TMW last day about the same.
For 35 million, I'll love to have him
Can he play as RW?

Can he dribble past players or cross the ball effectively? Else we can stick to Lingard.

No "multiple reports", just everyone repeating what tuttomercatoweb said, and they are an absolutely shit source

Jesus. Teamtalk still around?

They were only good for being advertised on ITV Oracle - revealing the daily football gossip (late 90s).

Spent a fortune ring up to listen to some statto reading of a crib sheet - 'United line up Rivaldo move!'

Edit: Completed more crosses last season than Martial, Lingard, Sanchez, Rashford and Mata... combined.

That's a lot of money for another right-footed player who isn't good enough. We already have a lot of those.

Read a good article that clubs now are not looking to buy players off of world cup performances. That if a player who shines at a tournament is bought, the more likely scenario is that it would have been on the back of their performances prior. Having a good world cup may only reinforce what they saw in the player previously.

Anyone know if were scouting him last season at PSV? I know we got linked to him before he joined them but, didn't hear anything much till the world cup and transfer season started with us getting linked to any number of players.
