Who is the best performing, most buyable player of the tournament?

Seems to me there's no clear "James Rodriguez" of the tournament so far so I'm wondering what others think. The best performers so far are likely not going anywhere and most of the top players have already made big moves.

So who has done the most to enhance their reputation AND is reasonably attainable? Harry Maguire? Kieran Trippier?

Pickford and Maguire are probably buyable. Would be overpriced, though.
I'm not sure either of those would be much good at a better club than they're already at.

I reckon someone will pay a load of money for Maguire at some point though, only for a string of defensive blunders to follow. Hopefully Liverpool

Nobody comes instantly till mind, therefore I'll go to the England team and say Trippier. He must have substantially increased his market value.

Pickford, Lingard, Maguire, Trippier
Giroud, Kante (Considering the horror show at Chelsea)
Hazard, Courtois, Toby (See above)

Assume we're talking about the final 4(?). I know little about Croatia and their players transfer statuses.

The problem with several of those players is that they're not at selling clubs.

Pickford is actually the third most expensive GK of all time! I can’t see him going anywhere.

I can definitely see Maguire going to one of the top 6 teams in the PL.

Probably a fair point on Pickford. He'll never move overseas and I can't see anyone above Everton buying him.

Though with the disaster going on at Chelsea they'll probably sell Courtois for a record goalkeeper fee then top that with a deadline day purchase of the Englishman.

Harry Maguire has had the type of impact that I thought Phil Jones will have. He embodies the so called English Spirit which I think we could use at United.

The big names wont move and the ones who could wouldnt because of the WC. Courtois and Hazard havent signed an extension yet, they were linked with Real previously

Not big names, but Golovin was a decent performer and would cost 25m. Rebic from Frankfurt wouldnt be too expensive either.
Maguire and Lozano are other names who performed and could be on the move. Pavard will move to Bayern after next season apparently.

Not convinced Rebic has any end product.

Golovin looks a decent player though.

Would not say that. Leicester and Everton most likely would not sell, they both just got where they are, both had first season, so their clubs in a very strong position and no need of money. Mahrez transfer tells a story, the guy wanted to leave for two seasons now and still at Leicester though probably will be gone this window.

Well i have no idea what other team need or want. So i can only speak about MU. Given that we just bough a young Portuguese RB i simply don't see any potential deals for United. Maybe that Uruguayan LB, Laxat-something. But that's a stretch.

I have not seen any decent LB, winger options for us. None at all. Which is good even. You buy on EC, you are bound to be disappointing. Even Fergie could not buy shit after WC. We all remember Kleberson who was terrific at WC. Or who else? I feel like MU made another purchase based on WC showing and got hurt, but can'r remember the name.

Pavard is a CB and he's joining Bayern.
They're replacing Boateng

He appears to be nailed on for Bayern. German media keep saying he has already agreed a transfer for next season, maybe even the current one.
Such a sh1thouse league. That relentless purchasing of the best players in the league annoys me so much.

It's so far gone that they need to adopt an NFL-esque draft system to fix it at this point. Or give Bayern a 5 year transfer ban.

Mentioned him in another thread about young players to look out for at the World Cup though he's probably not buyable at the moment because he only signed for Stoke City(for £6.35m)from Feirense in June but Oghenekaro Etebo from Nigeria will have the scouts flocking to the Britannia Stadium ready to pounce if it looks as though Stoke City won't be going straight back up again.

The kid is just perpetual motion in midfield. A big star of the future.

Torreira, but Arsenal have already nabbed him.

Mina if Barcelona decide on other priorities.

Maguire is emerging with a lot of credibility.

Fellaini was free few weeks ago. Bet they all regret now for not getting him.
