He wouldn't have hired 3 new coaches just to replace 1 if he was happy. IIRC, there were at least a couple press conferences in his time here where he basically admitted that the players aren't getting his instructions. People tend to grow with their environment, I'm excited to see how he evolves with the changes, it didn't do Fergie any harm.
Are they all related with fitness coaching or is anyone directly replacing Faria? Say this because Mourinho and Faria basically are true believers regarding Tactical Periodization.

Curious to see if they are going to change their methodology or will bring other concepts.

Fitness wise it's Rapetti who Mou worked with at Inter for one season when they won the treble. McKenna is highly regarded for attacking football for our U18s and Carrick just retired as a player so he's an unknown.

No surprise we are shit at set-pieces if Mourinho thinks so :houllier:

We have been improving lately with our set piece. Mourinho teams tend to end up very good at set piece.

I don't see how it is mind boggling. A lob ball favors the defender in the duel. In this case crowded box and Maguire didn't have momentum to outjump his marker. For this knock on tactic to work, you require one extra phase of play to succeed in hope for it to work. The initial delivery and knock on/ phase 2 delivery.

A half shot half cross ball Lampard special would be better for this situation. It's hard for defender to clear, easy to prone for an own goal, while a slight touch from the attackers would make it indefensible. GK is blocked from going out to meet this kind of ball, and his view can be blocked and the shot can go all the way.
