I feel like they've set a new standard.

For our next unveiling, I want a full Old Trafford under moonlight with the player descending from the skies onto the centre circle. Preferably wearing an astronaut outfit while the speakers blast Ground Control to Major Tom. And we don't know who the player is until the helmet is removed. Then the laser show begins....

The real magic trick was getting him off the injury table long enough to take part in this.

Nonsense but the fact he's recovered to play top flight football is a testiment to his resilience and desire. Fair play to him.

To put this in perspective, a chunk of the guy's leg was removed. Don't know how he's even able to run.

The best thing you'll see on a football pitch this weekened. We should get Tom Cruise to teach our next big signing to do a HALO jump into Old Trafford.

That would have been brilliant for the Lee Grant signing. Murmurs heard the ground with thousands of people simultaneously asking the person next to them "who is that?" when the helmet came off.

I'll admit though, I wouldn't have known who Fred was if he walked past me in the street until after he signed either, the same with many of our recent transfers. Lukaku, Pogba and Sanchez are obvious exceptions.

Forgot he existed until I saw he had scored twice vs Real. Shocked that he lasted 90 mins without breaking.

Aww did he? Forgot about that game with the City game on. Brilliant for him, seems to be doing well which is insane given his past injuries.

Absolutely delighted he is still playing at this level after his injury problems. Great player and very likeable.
