That could be equally applied to a bunch of self important footballing pundit morons. All I said it comes from a different perspective.
Yes, a worthless one. That's not to suggest pundits in the main are worth listening to, because they aren't.

I like the Sunday Supplement it gives me hope that I can become a football journalist because they've managed it.

I always quite enjoyed the Sunday Supplement, feel like they were also spot on with the Pogba probably currently has more power than Jose at the club. Not saying that is right, but I can kinda beleive it.

They probably do have more access than your average fan to info and people so you’d think their opinion is based off of something they have heard which would give it more credence than Dave down the pub.
I saw someone put up a video of Howson interviewing a United fan and I had to turn it off after 5 minutes due to the load of rubbish he was speaking. Much rather hear as someone else said articulate people put across their thoughts than be subjected to the ramblings of a fella like that.

Anybody else watching this watching? So far they’ve wanked Liverpool off, they’ve said city winning the lottery was a wonderful thing for English football and how we shouldn’t care about the whole human rights issues surrounding their owners because you know, we played a World Cup in Russia... next up they will no doubt be ripping Jose and United apart even more especially with olly holt there.

That Howson lad just likes the sound of his own voice too much for me, and just wants to build a following for himself. Not my cup of tea at all!

Chelsea fan here and I do have some issues with the way Jose left us the 2nd time , but god I despise this show it’s like self flagleration I put myself through each weekend.

Watching these smug idiots giving themselves a circle jerk about Jose just reinforces my view they are totally clueless.

They tried to treat him like a mug in a press conference and he shot them down, ban the lot of them like Fergie used to.

Rant over :)

Holt - Mourinho asking for respect is a joke because he used to shake opposition managers hands before the game was even over when winning.

Didnt he shake Pochs hand before the game was over this week too?

If he didn't actually shake hands then the sentiment was there he certainly congratulated him.

I've got nothing against it though really.
They're just using the club, just like our owners are just using ours. They actually don't care about the football.

They just said that Man City's owner has been to 1 game in ten years. That can't be right, can it?
Yep, that is correct and he only came to look at the available land around the running track because that is his business, property developing. He was also involved with a questionable deal with Barclays Bank after the crash in 2008. Government bailed out all the other Banks except Barclays because Barclays Execs would have had their massive bonuses cut. So they went cap in hand to Qatar and UAE. Sheik loaned them billions at stupid percent interest rate and was able to buy shares at knockdown price which many would think was a bribe. BBC Panorama did a programme about . City fans didn’t know and those that did didn’t care. Says it all.

Sunday Supplement is a self congratulatory love in for mostly ABU journalists that SAF has banned over the years. Oliver Holt is a prat. Not watched it for ages.

Holt isn't a journalist. We really confuse the word nowadays. He's an opinion writer. Football is littered with them.

Holt is the most unlikable person on the program. And that's not easy. Stopped watching it ages ago when they became more obsessed with being obtuse celebrities than football analysts.

Just now Rob Draper was talking about how Arsenal pinching Fabregas from the Barca academy forced the top teams to start scouting young Spanish/Barca starlets to no avail. This would have been a good point if he didn’t use Federico Mechada as an example of how that didn’t work out for other clubs...

I’m not dismissing his point, just his example is factually inaccurate, Mechada was Italian and from the Lazio academy.
I saw it and he did talk about look at Barcelona and Real Madrid's academy but in fairness I think he was just reaching for an example of a player poached from an academy abroad who didn't make it (obviously they have to be known enough that viewers would get the example rather than mentioning someone who never played a single game).

Currently showing why they are sports journalists and nothing more.
They're trying to use Sala as a stick to beat agents with, why transfers should be looked at because Sala didn't want to move etc which is ridiculous and over the top IMO.
I really despise this line of thinking. Unless criminal activity was involved or some such then treat it as the freak tragedy it is and treat him with respect.
They're basically painted Nantes as the bad guys here.

A plane crashed into the sea. Terrible tragedy but the story is as simple as that.

Why do they always need to create narratives for everything

The plane crash and agents trying to sell him are not related.
Absolute gutter journalists.

I agree with what fatty Custis said about City winning the league by about 5-6 points.

Was great to see the worm Custis get called out for all the rubbish he was spouting in support of Jose, shame he is still trying to wiggle his way out of it.

No fan of Holt either but he was spot on regarding Jose. Think he was against the appointment from day one.
