The State of the Anti-United Media (Or just the state of the club it seems)

The Daily Mail just published an article claiming players and staff believe Jose is one loss away from the sack. I've never read such utter tripe. The club need to take a stand on fake news. This is ridiculous.

It was spoken about on Sunday Supplement one week that Klopp had gone out to dinner with some of the press in preseason. They love that kinda thing.
I’m sure that was just red men tv he’s big fans of them and on good terms with the lead presenter.

Anyways the media is the media, every clubs fans feel the same way. Turning this in to a Klopp Mourinho poch Guardiola type thing just shows a lack of understanding of the situation. Reality is we mostly pay attention to our own clubs coverage so we don’t notice as much with other sides.

Just read. Usual thing when the media smell blood.

However, I'm wondering if it's true that Jose's backroom team hasn't been 'harmonious' ever since Rui Faria left. I really hope that's not true, can't have that, plus all the other stuff going on.

I dont know how many of you saw but the way some of the journalists were laughing after jose left the room was pathetic and unprofessional. People may hate Jose but what media are doing is shameless and some of our fans are blindly trusting them.

The media have completely failed to pick up that Monday's match would have been a completely different tale if Moura had been sent off, as he should have been, for kicking Jones in the face after 10 minutes. If that had been a United player who had done that and escaped a red card, you wouldn't have heard the last of it. Instead, they are positively creaming themselves at United and Mourinho losing 3-0. The British media really are the scum of the earth.

Rather than seeing Jose as genuinely appreciative of the fans support, given at Madrid etc he'd have been booed out of town by now, this guy sees conspiracy theories everywhere.

This was put out less than half an hour after full time:

I guess now we've won a game they need to find a new angle, eh?

I'm suprised they haven't gone with the 'It's only Burnley' narrative

What’s the context for this outlash?
Someone on Twitter thinks it’s because RVP refers to “the process” which LVG used to do. And LVG called Custis a fat man so it therefore could have been a dig. Seems petty enough to be true

Wow that’s extremely petty. I can’t believe he felt the need to even do that.

Is there no requirement from their employers for these journalists to at least act professional? They all go on like a bunch of buffoons with petty comments and opinions when all we want from them is reports based on facts and proper research.

 What a dickhead. It seems so needless and petty. Yet he will never have to answer for it and will just carry on acting like some bastian of integrity the next time a player or manager that can generate headlines steps out of line.

You would think Custis would have one of those blue symbols next to his name to verify it’s him, so makes me think that is a fake.

What a clown. We really should ban all media that's not directly employed by the club. Not like the media like to put out positive news about us or if we are reliant on the media to stay relevant or a big club. We are the most obsessed over club with or without them. Just stick it to them.

I don't think there's an agenda against United. I do think there's a definite ax to grind with Mourinho for whatever reason. The standards he's being held to and the constantly moving goalposts by which he's judged be it with regards to results, playing young players, being a bully, how happy he is/isn't, etc. are completely absurd.

We're actually at a point where he's been criticized for wanting to buy another CB since he spent 60m on Bailly and Lindelof unlike Pep who has racked up 4 of the 5 most expensive defensive transfers since he took over at Manchester City. This is really an argument used against Mourinho. I'm not even knocking Pep, I just think it's very clear many in the media aren't looking at this in an even-handed manner.

Mirror didn't just appoint Zidane as our manager already, but even made him preparing a transfer list. Absolutely ridiculous to think about. They want to see fire at the club ASAP.

You know the worst part about this kind of journalism is they don't even put in the effort to make it seem realistic, James Rodriguez on transfer wishlist by Zidane the same Rodriguez who couldn't get regular game time under Zidane and was loaned out they are disgrace to their profession.

Yep,impossible to argue with that. Fact is, they had to suffer through 20 odd years of our dominance and want to see us burn.

Its not because its United that this happens, whichever clubs closest to turmoil and that the papers think they can sell stories on they will write about.

Articles like the one above with Zidane happen to Chelsea when Conte was still there and when Jose was still there, they look to amplify and essentially lie about anything possible.

If United had not lost to Spurs & Brighton they would've laid off them and wrote stories about whoever there flavour of the week was, however since pre season you are the flavour of the week. Your manager and Woodward haven't seen eye to eye, star player isn't particularly happy in the team and doesn't have a good relationship with Jose. This was then compounded by losing to most likely a bottom half team in Brighton and then being beaten for the first time in years by Spurs at Old Trafford yet people are wondering why your the current target

What about press on Liverpool in the 90s (presumably the beginning of the decline), and Arsenal since 2010. I don't know enough on Liverpool in the 90s. The Press on Arsenal seem to be mainly focusing on AW but not the rest of the club.

Just do what Fergie did. If a reporter steps out of line, ie not just saying we played badly when we did, but all this absolute made up nonsense, simply ban them.
They get no access, their paper sh!Ts themselves as United sells, and they have to shape up, or risk losing their job.
Easy.

They also say José is the PL-manager most likely to get sacked first, right before writing that Woodward is fully behind him. How does that work?
