Yeah, it states that only for "on FFP" cases but everyone knows its also for ffp-1 for instance. Given FFP is something we've implemented ourselves instead of a SM rule, it's weird for people to use the wording as an excuse

If they aren’t on the database, that’s the worst thing for me. As I know people like yourself jump on the bandwagon of other people’s scouting.

No idea. Stain was the one who pushed for the bans in the first place and changed his mind as long as the rules would be stated clearly in the OP for future, however Wino turning into a Scooby Doo villain has probably reduced the chances of the bans being rescinded to nil.
Still no bloody bid for Dimitriou though - who was on the list for a month longer. Still, this is a start and will be handy in a months time if there are any players available.

Btw, given how keen people are to use wordings to work around FFP which is a Caf driven thing to keep the GW competitive, maybe we should actually have a vote but about whether people want to keep FFP going.

I'm strongly against the removal of FFP but if people want a vote that is fine. Think removing FFP would kill off the league entirely though.

I said i'd be willing to give them a pass this time and i still am. Fulham seeing my message on SM then only withdrawing one of the two bids he needed to withdraw and Wino being Wino made it tempting to ban them though. I'm making the decision to give them a pass simply because others have gotten away with this shit in the past. New ruling about this will be in the OP from today. Case closed.
FFP should absolutely not be removed, it's what keeps this GW going. As for the bans, i'd say let this one slide and update the rules to be very clear on this matter.

Wino's argument is that people have done it before and not got banned, with people not bothering to monitor bids and rules not being stated in the OP. Was only down to Stain monitoring the transfer bids this time around that people got 'caught'.

Those excuses are a load of bollocks though and everyone including Wino knows it. He's admitted as much with the excuse being "others have done it before too". As I said, FFP is a gentleman's agreement for the better of the GW, its not an ingame rule. Why does stain or anyone else need to monitor bids people are making and why does the rule need to state ffp-1, ffp-2 etc as well when it already states that bids when already on FFP have to be p/ex and that it has nothing to do with whether or not you land the player eventually? Everyone knows the rules, it's just some who want FFP but also want to work around it to cheat hoping no one notices. And then you have the amazing posts that Wino's been making.
