One of the funniest films I've ever seen was "baseketball" from the makers of South Park.

I've rarely if ever seen anyone talk about it when it comes to comedy movies so I consider it massively underrated!

Once Upon A Time In America deserves more praise.
Isn't the movie widely acclaimed to be one of the best epic gangster movies ever? Seems fairly rated by those who've seen it. Although you can argue it should be as famous as The Godfather or Goodfellas. I found it as good as the Godfather. Godfather is more iconic and style while OUATIA is more gritty, raw and dark IMO.

speaking of, S. Leone has only one miserable golden globe nomination in his whole career. isn't that a bit crazy? not a single oscar, not even nomination if I'm not mistaken.

Fantastic match, so much action and a good result for us. Madley was shocking.

Unlawful Entry (1992)

Good thriller with Ray Liotta and Kurt Russell.[/QUOTE]

Need to check this out.

Transcendence for me was quite a good movie, though I know it bored a lot of people and the only critic I follow didn't like it at all (Chris Stuckman).

Where The Day Takes You (1991)

A gritty crime/drama about teenagers surviving on the streets of LA. Features a very young Will Smith in a wheelchair.

Does it have anything to do with the fact that most of his films were produced by non US companies? I dont know but there may be some weird rules about having to have US producers to be considered.

Or people were stupid.

Great film!

With the first nine months of the Baseketball postseason out of the way, the playoff picture is starting to emerge.
You seen Orgasmo?

Probably my favourite Friedkin film, entertaining in so many ways.
I've had this on my need to watch list for ages, but get hardly any time to watch movies now. I'll metaphorically bump it closer to the top

It's not in the same class as either Godfather or Goodfellas.

St Vincent is a cracking film, cant fault Bill Murray.

Hard Candy is good in a different way too, also The lovely Bones is very good and another I always watch when it’s on is Byzantium.

Fifth element has a strong cult following by a genuinely think its a great one of a kind film.

Is last of the mohicans considered an all time great? I think it is.

Mars attacks is underrated imo.

Moon is excellent, one of those films that I enjoyed first time round but when I watched it again I realised it was even better than I thought on first viewing. The Machinist is probably in that category also.

Directly under the sun... NOW!
Sheesh. Why is this thread so old?

Anyway, I just watched The Lighthouse and it must be one of my all-time best movies.

In. Sane.

According to some sites it isn't even rated that highly. How come? It is terrifyingly brilliant!
