Breaking news on BT Sport.

The Leicester City owners’ helicopter recently took off from the center circle as usual but then crashed in the car park.

The ‘Premier League Tonight’ TV program following the live game on BT Sport had to be cut short due to a fire.

No news on injuries/casualties yet.

Wait... Leicester FC? I shouldn't jump to conclusions, but perhaps it's an air ambulance for the injured player?

Hopefully everyone will escape unscathed.

Footage of the fire (from a distance).

Under a tree.
Crazy, thought they were going to announce something regarding Hoddle. BT just ended their broadcast early

Pictures and video on twitter show a large fire being attended to by emergency services. Hoping for the best but fearing the worst.

Rotor tail apparently had a problem which caused the crash.

As much as we all hope and pray for survivors, it looks extremely unlikely. An absolute raging fireball nearly instantly. The live broadcast was ended early because the stadium was being evacuated. The fact that the helicopter crashed into a car park just as the stadium had been emptied of fans gives me the horrendous feeling that their are going to be so many casualties on the ground as well. i hope to god I'm wrong.

Shite, this won't end well.

Did it crash after leaving the pitch or coming towards the stadium? If after leaving the pitch would be more people in it.

Looking for the answers...
You have to expect the worse in something like that!! I’ve not seen footage but looking at that fire they’d have had to get out pretty quick, which, assuming the helicopter was off the ground and actually crashed - must be v.unlikely.

Yeah it's one of those wishing for as few casualties as possible moments. No ones waking away from that but hopefully some how avoided bystanders

Shit, that's bad.

Why does it take off from the centre circle? Seems irresponsible.
Hope everyone in involved is ok - but agree it's madness.

Normal planes aren't allowed to have their flight paths over stadiums when matches are on. So I don't know why this is allowed.

Hope everyone in followed is okay x

No one on board is surviving that.

I hope to God I'm wrong.
