Hi mate, if you don’t mind can you answer these questions at your convenience please? Congratulations on the 3 points!

1) What was your overall assessment of the match?
2)Who was your man of the match?
3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why?
4) Who impressed you for Everton and why?
5) For the first time in a couple of seasons. Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach?
6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right hand side or was that a reactive tactic?
7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned?
8) For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow?
9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points?
10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why?
11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why?
12) Was it a fair result?

Just an add on question. The game shown off two brilliant goalkeepers. Who would you rather have in goal when your team is facing a penalty? De Gea or Pickford? Thank you!

1) What was your overall assessment of the match? We won but it wasn't the most convincing performance.
2)Who was your man of the match? Martial.
3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why? Martial - starting to become more consistently effective, hopefully.
4) Who impressed you for Everton and why? Bernard - finishing was off but seemed a real pest and often popped up in good positions.
5) For the first time in a couple of seasons. Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach? I'm unsure. It didnt feel like Everton really went after us that much?
6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right hand side or was that a reactive tactic? I think its more a total lack of our own right hand side that meant we came down yours.
7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned? Absolutely. He remained in control of the ball the whole way through. The defender has to get more of a touch on it to be a clean tackle.
8) For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow? No.
9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points? Our defence on a 1 goal lead is always a worry.
10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why? Rashford. He was handed a chance to show he is good enough and did nothing.
11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why? Schneiderlin. I always liked him when he was here and thought he would be better than he is.
12) Was it a fair result? Yes. We are usually our own worst enemy and its up to us whether we win or lose a game at the moment. We were never really troubled by Everton but we still have some way to go ourselves.

1) What was your overall assessment of the match?
Enjoyable enough game between two teams who are a step below the best in the league.
2)Who was your man of the match?
By far Tony Martial.
3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why?
Oh well,Tony Martial obviously, Pogba was excellent too even if he missed a pen and made a mistake for the goal, Mata continued his decent form and Fred's performance was promising after a slow start.
4) Who impressed you for Everton and why?
Umm Gylfi looked up for it, Pickford was very good, Gomes decent.
5) For the first time in a couple of seasons. Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach?
Everton had nothing to fear, plenty of money spent in the summer, we played in midweek and we're not exactly tearing it apart at the moment. The manager expects his teams to play a certain way and he'll live and die by that.
6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right hand side or was that a reactive tactic?
I think it's more we have very little threat going down the right hand side, Martial has shown some form recently and Walcott offers no protection, didn't think Coleman was bad.
7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned?
So I think it was a pen, Martial definitely threw himself to the ground but it was definitely a pen.
8) For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow?
God yes, Smalling should have been booked purely for the stupidity of sliding in like that.
9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points?
Recent performances have shaken our confidence, there was definitely a chance of an equaliser.
10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why?
Easy, Matic, he looks increasingly easy to play around these days and is slow and ponderous on the ball.
11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why?
Ademola Lookman, I was eager to see him after hearing he'd impressed on loan, didn't look like he ever got up to the pace of the game.
12) Was it a fair result?
Totally, I don't think we were amazing by any stretch of the imagination but deserved to win nonetheless.

Just an add on question. The game shown off two brilliant goalkeepers. Who would you rather have in goal when your team is facing a penalty? De Gea or Pickford? Thank you!
:Pickford, I'd obviously rather De Gea overall but Pickford is slowly showing what the fuss was about, still needs to go up a few levels before he reaches the pedestal the media have put him on though. If I supported Everton though I'd be excited by his potential

1) What was your overall assessment of the match?
United were largely dominant and should have won by a more comfortable scoreline. However, once the goal went in, Everton could've snatched a draw.
2)Who was your man of the match?
Martial
3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why?
Martial - Our biggest threat
Lindelof - Second game on the bounce where he has kept his man largely quiet.

4) Who impressed you for Everton and why?
Pickford - Another solid performance and unlucky
with the penalty save.
Digne - Though he wasn't amazing by any stretch of the imagination, he looked solid defensively and delivery from corners were impressive.

5) For the first time in a couple of seasons. Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach?
We are certainly there to be attacked at the moment, but I thought Everton posed very little threat. We dominated the first half.
6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right hand side or was that a reactive tactic?
No, it has more to do with the lack of threat we pose down the right.
7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned?
I don't think it was a penalty, and I don't think he should be banned. He made a meal of it but there was more than enough to contact for it not to be a dive.
8)For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow?
Both were honest attempts to win the ball, and nrither were overly aggressive or dangerous. Fouls, nothing more.
9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points?
We haven't been great holding onto leads. In truth, the game should've been over long before that as we missed a number of clear oppotunities.
10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why?
Matic - He's been poor for some time. Allowed players to run off him repeatedly, and dawdled in possession.
11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why?
Richarlison - Rarely troubled Lindelof.
12) Was it a fair result?
We deserved the win, and think on the balance of the game, it should've have been by more than one goal.

1) What was your overall assessment of the match? One of the more enjoyable games for the fans this season. I was surprised at Everton's lack of attacking intent, though. I expected them to have a go at us.

2) Who was your man of the match? Paul Pogba. The most influential player on the park for me.

3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why? Martial. He's had a lot of stick since the summer, what with his attitude and commitment being questioned, but his recent performances would suggest his heart is in the club and he wants to succeed here.

4) Who impressed you for Everton and why? Pickford was solid and Richarllson looked dangerous on the rare occasion he had the ball at his feet, but for me, Sigurdsson was the stand-out performer. A natural threat (perhaps the only one if I'm being honest) who was constantly looking to make things happen. Shame he didn't have the support he needed in midfield.

5) For the first time in a couple of seasons. Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach? Yes and yes, but I expected Everton to sustain it for far longer than they did. They retreated back into their shell after Pogba scored the opener. The scoreline could and perhaps should have been a lot wider.

6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right-hand side or was that a reactive tactic? Most of our best openings tend to originate from the left-flank. The combination of Shaw + Martial is working well, with Pogba providing support if need be. Attacks down the right are practically non-existant for us, hence why the fans were begging for a RW over the summer. I don't think Jose set out to target Coleman directly, no.

7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned? It was a penalty. There was clear contact for me, although Martial didn't help his case with such a pathetic dive. An argument could be made for Pogba getting a ban for adopting the most embarrassing penalty-taking technique ever.

8) For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow? No, not for me. Neither player was directly though on goal, thus not a red card offence. Had those challenges been made outside the box, well, that's another matter.

9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points? More than you will ever know. It's become a theme under Jose, we often have a nice 2-goal buffer heading into the last 20 minutes, only to concede around that period. The last quarter of the game is then a backs-to-the-wall affair where anything is possible.

10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why? Jose Mourinho, for reasons too numerous to mention. You've likely heard them all in any case.

11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why? Coleman, but I had no notion he was coming off the back of an injury until you mentioned it above. Fair enough then.

12) Was it a fair result? I thought we could and perhaps should have won by a larger margin. I expected more from Everton truth be told.

Just an add-on question. The game showed off two brilliant goalkeepers. Who would you rather have in goal when your team is facing a penalty? De Gea or Pickford? Thank you! Good question, I had to think about it. De Gea isn't the greatest from spot-kick whilst Pickford clearly is, but I'm going with De Gea purely out of dumb loyalty.

I appreciate your feedback. As the replies to your post say, I am just trying to get opinions on the match and would like it to be a good read for both sets of fans. How would you change the questions to better suit that?

1) What was your overall assessment of the match? Not bad at all considering some of our previous games
2)Who was your man of the match?
Pogba was really good, some nice passes mixed with good movement
3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why?
Always knew Martial and Pogba were capable of some good football so I have to say Fred impressed me. Had a really good game considering he hasn't played much since he joined us.
4) Who impressed you for Everton and why?
Pickford. The lad is quality.
5) For the first time in a couple of seasons. Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach?
Yes I think it was the right approach considering how shaky we are at the back and no it didn't surprise me since everyone knows our defence isn't top notch.
6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right hand side or was that a reactive tactic?
We don't pose any threat on our right side so it was only natural we used our left. That wasn't tactics just the reality of our poor right wing.
7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned?
Yes, I thought it was a penalty so even if Martial over-reacted it shouldn't be a ban
8) For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow No
9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points?
I know I was worried.
10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why?
Matic was really poor, lost alot of possession and did a poor job in his marking duties.
11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why?
Coleman , didn't know he had been injured though
12) Was it a fair result?
All considered I think it was. We were a bit better throughout the whole game.

I thought yesterday was some of the best football we’ve played in the last 18 months of Mourinho’s tenure. The players made a comfortable win seem uncomfortable.

For brief periods the likes of Fred, Pogba, Martial and Mata (who needs to play, especially at home) were zipping the ball about with a bit of purpose.

1) What was your overall assessment of the match? Easiest win this season in PL.
2)Who was your man of the match? Martial
3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why? Martial and Fred.
4) Who impressed you for Everton and why? Keane. Good positioning.
5) For the first time in a couple of seasons. Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach? Yes. No.
6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right hand side or was that a reactive tactic? No. We only have one wing.
7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned? Clear penalty.
8) For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow? Yes. Both. Especially Smalling.
9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points? I disagree with this. Everton didn't have any clear chances except Bernard's chance but i was worried because our luck and defence this year are shit.
10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why? Lukaku. I expect better for 90mil. And Matic.
11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why? Richarlison. Bad game.
12) Was it a fair result? Of course.

Just an add on question. The game shown off two brilliant goalkeepers. Who would you rather have in goal when your team is facing a penalty? De Gea or Pickford? de Gea. Because he is the best gk in the world. And Pickford is annoying person( sorry, but he is).

1) What was your overall assessment of the match? United dominated most of the game, or rather Pogba dominated with help from some rare good performances from Fred and Martial among others. However the worst side of Pogba and indeed United came out at key points and we tried our best to shoot ourselves in both feet yet again.
2)Who was your man of the match? Martial
3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why? Martial, for obvious reasons.
4) Who impressed you for Everton and why? Andre Gomes looked pretty class on the ball. Pickford was also very solid as usual.
5) For the first time in a couple of seasons. Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach? Yes and yes. Especially against this United side.
6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right hand side or was that a reactive tactic? Definitely not, we just haven't got any players capable of exploiting the right wing.
7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned? Obvious penalty. Sourness can do one.
8) For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow? Probably not, given the situations. Certainly couldn't give one to Smalling having not given one to Gueye.
9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points? Shitting bricks because we have a bunch of clowns at the back.
10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why? Smalling was shit on the ball and made another typical Smalling gaff for the penalty. Lukaku was a travesty in his cameo. Pogba disappointed in the sense he doesn't seem capable of learning. Learning not to do stupid run ups for pens or feck about with the ball in our half when we're cruising.
11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why? Bernard. Walcott (as expected).
12) Was it a fair result? Yes.

Just an add on question. The game shown off two brilliant goalkeepers. Who would you rather have in goal when your team is facing a penalty? De Gea or Pickford? Thank you!

Pickford is better at saving pens than De Gea, that's pretty evident.

1) What was your overall assessment of the match?
Everton started the game quite brightly, but wasted a few good positions with some poor deliveries/decisions from Walcott/Coleman & Digne. Once United got the goal, it was our best performance of the season with Pogba and Martial far and away the best players on the pitch and causing Coleman all kinds of problems. Typically though, we didn't kill the game off with a 3rd goal and let Everton back into the game, the end of the game was unncessarily nervy considering how well United played.

2)Who was your man of the match?
Martial. Though would have been tempted to give it to Pogba if not for the poor pass that led to Everton's penalty.

3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why?
Martial and Pogba were a level above everyone else on the pitch, they linked up very well on the left and both could have had 1 or 2 more goals/assists each. Other good performers included Lindelof, Fred and Mata (more so in the 2nd half).

4) Who impressed you for Everton and why?
I've always rated Zouma and thought he kept Rashford fairly quiet as he could match his pace, however he did seem tired in the latter parts of the game and became sloppy. Also though Sigurdsson was lively and I was also impressed with his work rate off the ball.

5) For the first time in a couple of seasons. Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach?
A lot of teams now come to Old Trafford and have a go - examples from recent weeks include Wolves, Newcastle and Derby so it didn't come as a surprise to me at all. I would say it is the right approach and with some more quality from the wide areas in the early stages you could have snatched a goal.

6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right hand side or was that a reactive tactic?
To be honest a lot of our attacks in games come down the left hand side with Martial or Rashford when he plays there. Our right hand side is generally devoid of attacking intent because Mata (or whoever plays on the right) tends to cut inside. I remember our game at Goodison in 2015 under LVG, Martial roasted Coleman for 90 minutes so he perhaps just has the beating of him - that game in 2015 was pre injuries for Coleman too.

7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned?
Not a penalty for me. Gueye gets a toe on the ball and is unfortunate that the ball then hits Martial and moves forward as it is difficult to see the touch in real time, from my seat in the stadium it looked like a pen but slowed down on the replays you can see the touch. Not great tackling technique from Gueye however.

8) For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow?
Gueye 2nd yellow would have been harsh. Smalling was slightly fortunate to be honest, needless and reckless tackle.

9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points?
To be honest I don't really recall any chances for Everton after equalising (before - sure). Again you got into good positions but lacked the quality from wide areas. But in answer to your question - yes I was worried!

10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why?
Matic, was slow and sluggish in possession, and also lost his man for a 1st half freekick which could have been punished. Shaw was also sloppy with his positioning. Smalling also very poor with that tackle for the penalty, Richarlison was going nowhere.

11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why?
Coleman, always been a fan but it does look like the injuries are now catching him up. I also rate Richarlison but don't think he should be leading the line.

12) Was it a fair result?
I believe so, thought we had the better chances and dominated the game after 1-0 up until your equaliser.

Just an add on question. The game shown off two brilliant goalkeepers. Who would you rather have in goal when your team is facing a penalty? De Gea or Pickford? Thank you!
To be honest I don't recall many saves from DDG from penalties. I remember 3 from Baines, Lukaku and Van Persie, all of which were to DDG's right hand side. Pickford seems to be superior at saving them.

How would you change the questions to better suit that?
I'm okay with 11 and 12, personally. 5 seems a bit iffy, but I'll let it slide. 7, however, implies two things:
  1. It wasn't a penalty.
  2. If the penalty wasn't given, the result would have been different.
You could word that to just ask us for our view on the penalty call.

Also, in response to 8, maybe you can ask about the refereeing performance in general. The answer to that question should be in the context of the overall performance instead of in isolation.

1) What was your overall assessment of the match? - One of our better games in recent months, but that just shows how poorly we've been playing. We were probably a little lucky to get all 3 points.
2)Who was your man of the match? - Martial
3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why? - Well, apart frmo Martial (see above), I thought Lindelof had a good game. He's struggled since joining, but in the last few games he's been playing with a lot more confidence and starting to show that he might yet make it.
4) Who impressed you for Everton and why? - I really like Bernard, but I think that's just because he reminds of Juninho because he's small and Brazilian
5) For the first time in a couple of seasons. Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach? - Absolutely - we can't defend so the best thing to do against us is to attack
6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right hand side or was that a reactive tactic? - Not sure if it was really a deliberate tactic, Martial has started the last few and is in really good form.
7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned? - I didn't think it was even debatable. It was a clear penalty - although Martial absolutely exaggerated the way he went down.
8) For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow? - I thought Smalling could have been booked for his. It wasn't an outrageous decision not to book him, but I was a little surprised he wasn't booked.
9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points? - Wasn't comfrortable until the final whistle went, but less because Everton were playing well and more because we just cannot defend
10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why? - Rashford and Lukaku - the former didn't even remotely take his chance starting central, and the latter just looks horribly out of form at the moment.
11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why?
12) Was it a fair result? - It wasn't unfair, but if it'd ended in a draw that wouldn't have been particularly unfair either.
13) The game shown off two brilliant goalkeepers. Who would you rather have in goal when your team is facing a penalty? De Gea or Pickford? - I think De Gea is far and away the better keeper, but he's not brilliant against penalties so I'd probably want Pickford.

1) What was your overall assessment of the match?
We were generally in control of the match even though Matic made our midfield porous. Our quicker, more direct approach penned you back and disrupted your defensive shape enough to create a decent number of chances. Everton could not keep up with our passing tempo and movement. Gueye, in particular, kept trying to win the ball with his pressing but kept getting dragged out of position. Gomes kept ball-watching enough that Mata, Fred, and Pogba often found pockets of space at will. If our players possessed more of a killer instinct, we'd probably have scored more goals. Everton were there for the taking, but we gifted them a goal and a route back into the game towards the end. The players, however, were destroyed mentally; they kept playing sloppy passes, and their attacking players generally didn't get into good goalscoring positions.
2)Who was your man of the match?
It has to be Martial. He was our biggest threat and best player on the pitch. Anytime he got the ball, Everton looked scared and showed him tons of respect. Martial's direct approach against Coleman also helped create space for us as a defender/midfielder always had to pull out to support him.
3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why?
See 2.
4) Who impressed you for Everton and why?
I've been impressed with Digne in terms of his overall performances this season, but Sigurdsson was the most impressive of your lot. He looked like his old self in the #10 role, troubling Matic for the whole game with his timely movement and pinpoint passes.
5) For the first time in a couple of seasons. Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach?
Everton always start like this against us. They even did that during the Moyes days. I saw nothing different in the match.
6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right hand side or was that a reactive tactic?
Any time Martial or Rashford play on the left, they always start out on the left flank and take on their full back. Today was no different. The only difference is that Martial himself was more direct in his approach. He does have these kind of performances in him, but there are also occasions where he's more passive and unsure on the ball. This performance was more like his former self where he was decisive and confident in his decisions (except for his last shot).
7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned?
We were on the top foot for the first half, and that wasn't the first moment where we penned you back. We were getting into our groove and settled into the match, so regardless of the penalty, we would have had the same result.

On whether it was a penalty, it definitely was. Gueye did stick out his foot and get the ball, but Martial's left foot did get a touch of the ball and knocked it into space. Gueye's tackling leg was planted and took Martial out of his stride. Whilst he was a bit overly expressive in his fall, the penalty call was still valid. Gueye's challenge wasn't strong enough to win the ball (unsurprisingly given that Martial was getting past players with his dribbles).
8) For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow?
I will answer this question in the context of the whole refereeing performance. I can see that Jonathan Moss didn't want the match to become a war of attrition and wanted to set the standards accordingly, but he wasn't consistent in his decisions. Gueye didn't deserve a second yellow for his penalty as he did challenge for the ball. Smalling did deserve a yellow for his penalty as it was wild, but he didn't deserve a yellow for his first challenge on Richarlison (else Gueye should have had a yellow for one of his other challenges). That lack of a second yellow for Everton's penalty made up for the incorrect first yellow on Richarlison.
9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points?
I was confident. Whilst Sigurdsson played well, he was the only attacking player who was enough of a threat, yet we generally limited him to a few possessions. Everton's other players looked more tired and tentative as the match progressed, and their sloppiness was on display throughout the match.
10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why?
Matic was quite poor. As the anchor man, he was consistently out of position and slow on the challenge. I'd have thought that he'd kickstart attacks and control the midfield from deeper areas, but he kept holding onto the ball for too long and preferred to carry it forward. Fred's presence did allow him to push up a bit more, but defensively, he was a liability. Once Herrera came in, our midfield was much more secure.
11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why?
It has to be between Bernard and Walcott. Both were not aggressive going forward, and their final balls were quite poor. I'll give it to Bernard for his poor miss in the second half.
12) Was it a fair result?
It was. We were the better side, overall, and were it not for a pair of silly mistakes, we would have comfortably won.

Just an add on question. The game shown off two brilliant goalkeepers. Who would you rather have in goal when your team is facing a penalty? De Gea or Pickford?
If it was only for penalties, then Pickford. de Gea tends to guess and rely on his reflexes too often rather than watch the penalty taker's approach.

1) What was your overall assessment of the match? A very good performance and a well earned win

2)Who was your man of the match? Martial

3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why? Lindelof, vs Juve and again yesterday he is starting to show why we spent good money on him, thought he read the game well and looked comfortable on the ball

4) Who impressed you for Everton and why? Pickford, made some very good saves

5) For the first time in a couple of seasons. Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach? Yes, as we have looked poor defensively this season and haven’t kept a clean sheet at home this season

6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right hand side or was that a reactive tactic? Don’t think so, our right side is quite poor and Martial has been our best player recently.

7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned?
He looked to have got the ball so it wasn’t a pen but did get Martial so not a ban.

8) For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow? Smalling could have got a 2nd yellow anywhere else on the pitch it would have been one you would have to think

9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points? Never comfortable, been conceding way too many goals this season

10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why? Matic, been shit for the last 6 months, he’s a nothing player

11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why? Richarlison, not necessarily his fault as he lacked service

12) Was it a fair result? Yes could have been more if not from same good saves from Pickford

Just an add on question. The game shown off two brilliant goalkeepers. Who would you rather have in goal when your team is facing a penalty? De Gea or Pickford? Pickford

1) What was your overall assessment of the match?

Entertaining enough -- but a bit nervy at the end for us, as usual. Glad to see us attempt to play a bit going forward.

2)Who was your man of the match?

Martial

3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why?

As above. Pogba, for some of it, but you could make a cup of tea waiting for him to complete his run up for the peno.

4) Who impressed you for Everton and why?

The goalie Pickord, and that chap Sigurdsson, tops, though I think your manager was wasting breath at the end trying to explain something to him. He's a handful.

5) For the first time in a couple of seasons. Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach?

Yes. The general tone here from our fans suggests Everton did little but that's not how I saw it. I thought you are fast on the break, organized and had more about you than in recent years.

6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right hand side or was that a reactive tactic?

As others noted, it's how we play. Seamus is a top player, generally would not see too many teams target him.

7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned?

I have a hard time with it. If it had not been given, I'd have felt a little aggrieved but would not have been surprised. If we were on the other end of it, I'd be annoyed but not also not too surprised given the lack of consistency in such decisions.

8) For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow?

No

9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points?

Yes. We are fragile at the back this year so a one-goal lead is never enough to feel comfy.

10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why?

Disappointed in Pogba's slackness with the pass which led to the peno but have come to expect as much from him. It's the price we pay for his other qualities. Lukaku seemed like he was the winner of a raffle to get to play with United for 10 mins.

11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why?

Walcott -- tend to expect him to be up for it against us.

12) Was it a fair result?

You can't really expect us to be objective. Was the draw at Chelsea the week before fair? We needed a win and were glad to get it, fairness not really the issue. But if pushed, I think we did enough for a win but could not have winged too much about anything other than ourselves if you'd equalized.

1) What was your overall assessment of the match?
Fairly tight, two teams that look like Europa League place chasers rather than top 4 contenders.

2)Who was your man of the match?
Anthony Martial

3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why?
Victor Lindelof, I thought he read the game well and gave nothing to Everton in his channel.

4) Who impressed you for Everton and why?
Sigurdsson and Bernard, they looked the most likely to make something happen.

5) For the first time in a couple of seasons. Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach?
Yes and yes, we are fragile right now, we don't do well against the press and we aren't in good form.

6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right hand side or was that a reactive tactic?
I think it had more to do with the fact our left hand side is our strongest side where Martial and Pogba link-up, our two most effective attackers, so we favour attacking down that side in general with Shaw also offering better support on the overlap than Young does on the right.

7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned?
It was a penalty but Martial made the most of the contact.

8) For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow?
No as neither tackle was malicous or dangerous and the penalty is punishment enough.

9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United
fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points?

After last week against Chelsea and our form in general this season there was nothing comfortable about that last 20 minutes.

10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why?
Shaw as he's been in good form but was poor in defense and attack in this game.

11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why?
Richarlison, I think he's better off the left rather than as a striker.

12) Was it a fair result?
Everton have a fair argument that they were worth a point.

1) What was your overall assessment of the match?

Fairly routine result until Smalling brainfart, however we seemed to cope well with the set back.

2)Who was your man of the match?

Martial, he looks like he's finally back in the groove again.

3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why?

Aside from Martial, Pogba was once again influential in build up play and Lindelof built on his performance against Juve.

4) Who impressed you for Everton and why?

Pickford had a good game, Walcott suprised me by how effective he can still be.

5) For the first time in a couple of seasons. Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach?

I always expect Everton to have a go, and against this current United side that is always the way to go.

6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right hand side or was that a reactive tactic?

I don't think Mourinho sets up to do anything attacking wise, we was always going to be more dangerous on that side due to Martial and Pogba operating that side, compared to Mata and Fred on the opposite side.

7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned?

Martial has a right to go down after being caught knee to knee. It's on the ref to spot that the player touches the ball.

8) For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow?

Smalling definitely as he got no where near the ball, reckon the only reason he didn't was because he didn't send off Everton's player earlier.

9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points?

Felt comfortable throughout for some reason, expected a bit more worries when you pulled one back, but it never really materialised.

10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why?

Smalling obviously, besides that Rashford was poor yet again and our right hand side is always disappointing.

11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why?

I expected more from Richarlison after his flying start to the season, wouldn't say I was disappointed though :D

12) Was it a fair result?

Yeah we deserved to win as we were clearly the better side.

1) What was your overall assessment of the match?

The best we've played all season, but still lacking focus at the beginning and towards the end of the game, which could've cost us.

2)Who was your man of the match?

Martial. Best he's played for us in a long time in my opinion.

3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why?

Martial, Pogba. Both stood out and impacted the game well.

4) Who impressed you for Everton and why?

Sigurdsson. Good player. Pickford. Still underrated in my opinion. Great attitude too.

5) For the first time in a couple of seasons. Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach?

Yes, because everyone does against us now. And yes probably. It's meant results for more teams than I care to list this season. In hindsight maybe not, but if you'd scored from that free header on a corner early on it might've been different.

6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right hand side or was that a reactive tactic?

We don't have a right hand side, so everything will come down our left.

7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned?

Tough one. Typical flourish added while going down. I don't know whether that's just to help win the ref over after a legit poor tackle, or it means it's a full on cheat.

8) For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow?

Not for your foul. Missed ours going for a slash and still haven't seen it.

9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points?

Yes. It's never comfortable with us and can quite often be backs to the wall after conceding, which makes it even worse. We're far better continuing to play our game.

10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why?

Rashford. I don't know what's wrong with him for us at the moment. We looked miles more fluid just for having him in the team over Lukaku though.

11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why?

Richarlison, because I know he's very good.

12) Was it a fair result?

Yes. We played better.

Just an add on question. The game shown off two brilliant goalkeepers. Who would you rather have in goal when your team is facing a penalty? De Gea or Pickford? Thank you!

Probably Pickford for a pen! We should buy him as second keeper and sub him on for shootouts...

I was wondering how many people thought that was a penalty. I think you've all gone stark raving mad, honestly.

Defender puts a foot in & cleanly toepokes the ball away.

And then we're talking about Martial diving or (rightly) making the most of it. Well that doesn't even happen for another ''5 seconds'' & has no relation to the 'tackle contact.' It's because Martial's right thigh is gonna get whacked & he probably wants to get it out of the way because it hurts (imo) or he fancies a ridiculous dive or both. Probably not a ban then let's say. When I say get whacked I mean Martial is going to run into him, he can't avoid it - is a better explanation.

But seriously, if that got given down the other end, we'd be going mental.

OK, on the other side, the defender tackles with what most of us would say is the wrong foot or it's unusual to use what is kind of the nearest leg in a tackle. This might influence us or the ref who might also not see the ball move.

And the only other thing, you might think there is contact from the defender's left leg as he goes in, is that it? I don't think that impedes Martial at all really.
Defender stays on his feet at all times, what else do you want him to do apart from that AND clearly play the ball?

In real time it might be understandable to want a penalty but do you honestly think a VAR would give it as a penalty?

1) What was your overall assessment of the match? Good but sloppy, like a blowjob from a drunk chick.
2)Who was your man of the match? Anthony Martial
3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why? Anthony Martial, he showed some great improvement in this game and that he is finally stepping up to the plate, and not just the dinner one.
4) Who impressed you for Everton and why? Pickford, made some great saves.
5) For the first time in a couple of seasons. Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach? Yes, because we allow teams to begin strong. I don't think it was the right one for you.
6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right hand side or was that a reactive tactic? It's just the way it is, Mourinho sets up stronger on the right usually anyway.
7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned? Yes, it was a penalty. Martial milked it but there was still a lot of contact.
8) For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow? Smalling deserved a second, his challenge was very rash.
9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points? I was comfortable at 2-0 but not that comfortable, I definitely started expecting a proper comeback.
10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why? Lukaku, wasn't on for long but did terrible.
11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why? Whoever missed the open goal, terrible miss tbh.
12) Was it a fair result? I'd say so, we showed more intent if i'm honest.

Just an add on question. The game shown off two brilliant goalkeepers. Who would you rather have in goal when your team is facing a penalty? De Gea or Pickford? Thank you! Pickford, De Gea has faced and saved more but almost half were in La liga.

1) What was your overall assessment of the match?
I thought it was a good game. A good Sunday Night ding dong but I was literally sat right next to the Everton fans so it might of felt more intense than it actually was.
2)Who was your man of the match?
Martial
3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why?
Other than Martial. I was very impressed with Fred who I thought had his best game for us. Very tidy in possession and made us tick.
4) Who impressed you for Everton and why?
I was impressed by Pickford's distribution
5) For the first time in a couple of seasons. Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach?
Yeah I thought that they'd want to try and rattle us from the off because of how bad we've been this season.
6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right hand side or was that a reactive tactic?
I've no idea but probably
7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned?

Absolutely it was a penalty
8) For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow?
If i'm honest I think Smalling did.
9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points?
Oh I was nervous right up until the final whistle. I think if Everton played better they could of stolen a point.
10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why?
Lukaku again. Looks slow and very short of confidence
11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why?
Bernard made a dogs dinner of a golden chance
12) Was it a fair result?
Yes it was one of the best performances of the season from United.

Hi mate, if you don’t mind can you answer these questions at your convenience please? Congratulations on the 3 points!

1) What was your overall assessment of the match?

All in all, I think the better team won, although Everton can go away pretty encouraged with some of the chances they managed to conjure up.

2)Who was your man of the match?

Martial

3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why?

Martial. From the off, he was a constant menace to Everton. He was our go to man. Everything we did good came from Martial.

4) Who impressed you for Everton and why?

Has to be Pickford. Not only for his saves, but his distribution, too.

5) For the first time in a couple of seasons, Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach?

Based on our current form and leaking of goals, I did expect Everton to come out like they did. In hindsight, it might not have been the right approach, especially as Martial probably too much room to operate in, but teams have come to Old Trafford this season and have been a threat with the that type of approach.

6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right hand side or was that a reactive tactic?

No. Our game is very predictable and most of our good play normally comes down the left, with Martial hugging the touchline and Shaw creating overloads. Actually, I specifically remember how dangerous we were down the left at Goodison last year, where we won 0-2. This time; however, it was Lingard on the left instead of Martial.

7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned?

I personally don't think it was a penalty. You can see that Gueye gets a touch of the ball. There was contact, though, and because of that, I don't think Martial should be banned. Every time a player goes down following a tackle, its not necessarily a dive.

8) For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow?

Well, I don't think the tackle on Martial was a penalty, so no for Gueye. As for Smalling, definite penalty and should have been given his second yellow.

9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points?

I was worried, especially based on how we've been at the back this season. Mourinho's teams have always dropped back once winning and looked pretty stable. However, when we seem to do that, teams create chances and more often than not, have been punished for it this season. That said, we had enough chances at 2-1 to kill the game and didn't.

10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why?

Matic. Like Lukaku, I think it's time for him to get some time on the bench. Not sure whether its tiredness, but he looks really slow. Not only off the ball, but on it too.

11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why?

Walcott. It seems like his decision making hasn't improved from a young lad at Southampton. Not only that, but it was well highlighted after the game on sky about the lack of effort he showed for United's second goal.

12) Was it a fair result?

I personally think it was. Think we attacked from the off, and created enough chances to be ahead by at least a couple.

13) The game shown off two brilliant goalkeepers. Who would you rather have in goal when your team is facing a penalty? De Gea or Pickford? Thank you!

At the moment, I'd probably have to say Pickford.

1) What was your overall assessment of the match?

Ennjoyabe game. We were in no way convincing but it was the kind of unconvincing you can accept. Unlike other games earlier this season where it was the kind of unconvincing that makes you rant to your mate about how you're never watching football again. If we carry on trying to pla like that I think our performances will improve.

2)Who was your man of the match?

Martial

3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why?

Martial...because he scored a good goal, and demonstrated the ability to have control of his own legs. Something which every other forward on the pitch seemed to be having imense problems with

4) Who impressed you for Everton and why?

Pickford...for the saves and generallly always looking slightly disgusted with everything. To be honest a few others played well but I can't remember who they were because I was too busy complaining about things.

5) For the first time in a couple of seasons. Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach?

Even teams like Derby County feel they can use this approach against United at the moment, and then end up winning, so it's not really a surprise. It will stop if/when United punish a few teams for it, but the game on Sunday was probably the first time this season we haven't made it look like we're playing against 2009 Barcelona just because the other team is pressing us. It's making the games more entertaining at least.

6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right hand side or was that a reactive tactic?

No I just think it's that Martial is playing well and is suited to that position, so naturally our attacks developed on that side. Even at the best of times, our attacks down the opposite side usually just consist of Valencia standing still with the ball and then booting it at someone, and he wasn't even playing.

7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned?

I would have been annoyed if it was given against us, but it was rubbish defending. I'd only ban in the case of blatant dives where there is no contact at all...or whenever Deli Ali goes down, even if someone karate kicks him in the nuts.

8) For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow?

No. Martial one was arguably not even a foul and with Smalling the attacking player had basically booted the ball off the pitch just to draw the foul...clear penalty but not a card. Plus I can't remember the Everton booking but Smalling's initial yellow card was bafflingy soft.

9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points?

I enjoyed the game. I didn't feel nervous but I think just because my expectations have lowered. We definitely weren't comfortable when only one goal ahead

10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why?

Smalling, because he joined the growing list of players this season where after the game the only possible explanation for their performance is that they were drunk. Pogba for his usual moments where he seems to be in a different universe to everyone else, but he played well overall

11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why?

Walcott...I mean, he didn't disappoint me. I was delighted with his performance. I definitely wouldn't get in a car if he was driving.

12) Was it a fair result?

Yes. I thought it was an open game where both sides had the beating of the other in possession, except that we had Martial and Everton didn't, but that's what makes the difference sometimes. I would feel unlucky if I was an Everton fan based on the questionable penalty and ability of my team to not kick the ball into a semi open goal.

13) Just an add on question. The game shown off two brilliant goalkeepers. Who would you rather have in goal when your team is facing a penalty? De Gea or Pickford?

De Gea...Pickford seems to be good at saving penalties but De Gea in this fixture alone has made two extraordinary saves from penalties.

1) What was your overall assessment of the match?

One of if not our best performance of the season. Which is not saying much. We were the better side albeit somewhat fortunate to get the three points.

2)Who was your man of the match?

Martial - won us the match and involved in almost every threatening move.

3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why?

I thought Lindelof gave one of his best performances yet for us - again it's not saying much as he's been woeful but I'm holding on to whatever positives I can find with him.

4) Who impressed you for Everton and why?

Nobody really stood out for me, but I think Pickford is excellent generally.

5) For the first time in a couple of seasons. Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach?

Absolutely, we are there for the taking in every match right now.

6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right hand side or was that a reactive tactic?

I've no idea what Mourinho's offensive plan is in any game.

7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned?

Don't think it was a penalty, but it wasn't a dive either, although Martial certainly exaggerated for effect.

8) For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow?

Smalling deserved another yellow.

9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points?

We are never comfortable anymore.

10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why?

This side is disappointing in so many ways so it's hard and a little unfair to pick out an individual. The brain farts from Pogba and Smalling are to be expected, as are the general uselessness of Rashford, Matic and Lukaku. I was really disappointed with Martial's last minute miss, but as above, he was our best player.

11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why?

I don't really think about opposition players in these terms.

12) Was it a fair result?

Yeah just about.

Just an add on question. The game shown off two brilliant goalkeepers. Who would you rather have in goal when your team is facing a penalty? De Gea or Pickford? Thank you!

Pickford. De Gea doesn't save penalties.

Losing to Comeback Winning!
Still ongoing? @ComeOnYouBlues

Hi mate, if you don’t mind can you answer these questions at your convenience please? Congratulations on the 3 points!

1) What was your overall assessment of the match?
 Another fun performance. One of our best performances this season, which is sadly rare. Unexpected decisions regarding the team selection, but finally good. In the words of Evra, I love this game!

2)Who was your man of the match?

Martial, complete performance - superb attacks and solid defensive work.

3) Who impressed you for Manchester United and why?

Mourinho - attacking line-up, Lukaku bench and good subs.
Rashford - not bad leading the line, moving around helps messes up their defence and give constant moving roaming options to our passers.
Martial - improving becoming our key player in attacks, imposing himself more and more.
Pogba - Creative spark in the center and enjoying himself back and forth.
Fred - Yeap, he's good and mesh up well with our attacking department.
Lindelof - cool defend!

4) Who impressed you for Everton and why?

Pickford - showed good fighting spirit and nice keeping.
Zouma - fair defend performance, I enjoy watching him play, he had that huge injury with Chelsea then out to Stoke I think where he didn't do well enough imo.

5) For the first time in a couple of seasons. Everton started the match with purpose and set out to try and win the match, is that what you expected? Was it the right approach?
Didn't notice that. No idea. But you guys sure did have a good go.

6) Coleman was out for a month with a fractured foot and returned last week vs Crystal Palace. Did Mourinho intentionally set up to exploit our right hand side or was that a reactive tactic?
Don't think so. I mean Mata we know will drift inwards and even to the far left midfield. Our RM when Mata and Lingard play there always do that. Our RB (Valencia before) Young for this game fill the gap like always. It's always been Mou's default tactic.

7) The penalty decision changed the complexion of that game - was it a penalty? If not should Martial be banned?
Enough contact -> Penalty.

8) For both penalties, the fouling player was on a yellow card. Did either of them deserve a second yellow?
Deserve. It's not malicious tackles.

9) Everton pulled one back through Sigurdsson and missed several decent chances to score. Were United fans worried of a comeback or were they comfortable knowing they had the 3 points?
Everton had good number of chances to score fluffed. Relax before that pen with comfortable two leads and good team plays. It's a nervy game after that Everton penalty. Yeap, worried.

10) Who disappointed you for Manchester United and why?
Lukaku not doing enough after coming on, I want him to put more effort - not running non-stop here and there, but more like better attitude to team mates and try to make better movements, and once decided, fecking do it. Show more fighting spirit.
Otherwise, none, don't care about Pogba's and Smalling's mistakes.

11) Who disappointed you for Everton and why?
As a general football fan, Michael Keane for not improving at all from the last time I seen him play.

12) Was it a fair result?
Yeap, but what is really "fair".

Just an add on question. The game shown off two brilliant goalkeepers. Who would you rather have in goal when your team is facing a penalty? De Gea or Pickford?
I'm not sure how good Pickford is when facing penalty. One penalty saved in one game seen is not enough. He looks promising though. Tbh, De Gea is just not that good at stopping penalty. Safer bet is on Pickford, but personally still prefer De Gea. Wth is our gk coach doing? I mean I remember the young De Gea when he just came has a better approach to penalty than the De Gea of now who looks clueless don't know what to do.

Thank you!
