Dreadful performance once again. Nothing really seems to work. Everyone in that team must be incredibly annoyed, frustrated and sorely lacking confidence.

It's strange given how the season seemed to adjust itself before the last international break with not great but good performances against Chelsea and Juve e.g.

The team is so so fragile, all it takes is a small bump or two in the road and we play like shit again.

Jose inching closer to the door
I'm afraid those cnuts who run our club will give him till the end of the season. And it seems to me they don't care about C.L football next year. Cause if so that cnut of a manager should have gone ages ago. He is expired.

Just a reminder that City has +37 goal difference compared to our -1

But we have a Newcastle level lineup so no real surprises there. Pep just from todays lineup would bin Jones, Young, McTom, Shaw, Fellaini, Young, Herrera, Matic and Lukaku in a heartbeat.
Oh oh ho, you had Smalling in that list originally.

Tried to stay positive but today was the fianl straw. Bad setup and tactics from Jose. He has to go. Top 4 seems unlikely.

Yep. When they fought back I thought they would come out and go on the attack. He seemed happy to escape with a point at bloody Southampton. I would have brought Martial on a lot earlier and Mata who can take freekicks and play nice little passes round the box.
I dont know man, whole thing is just... another thing, i expected to see Afro going upfront way earlier but nope.

Don't get that second half at all, 2 down early, get back to 2 each before half time, then... Nothing, absolutely nothing. I mean wtf.

Everything Jose said in that post-match conference is what we're all saying on here. It's like the players aren't listening. Hope he bollocks them all

Ohh i know! Players can walk around all game and be sure that the 'fans' will blame the manager. Maybe they don't actually watch the game that's in front of them?
We were set up poorly and took a while to get to grips, how did that pass you by? And then came back well, the players weren't walking around all game. Second half they came out and did nothing. Yes some 'fans' are not watching the game in front of them. Do you need reminding the starting line up and a handwalk through to the equalizer?

I only saw the last 20 minutes and hd to check the caf if United were down to 10 men. Southampton were looking for the win. How?

Are you watching closely?
"Chris Smalling, Eric Bailly - if tomorrow they are ready to train I wouldn't be surprised."

Another jibe at players not playing through injury. He's basically the coach from Not Another Teen Movie now.

"Can he play?"
"He's in a coma.."
"Answer my question: CAN HE PLAY?!"

I think enough is enough now. Is it all Mourinho's fault? Almost certainly not, but something needs to change.

Jose Mourinho reaction: "I think the result is quite fair in spite of the fact we were more dominant in the game. They had a better start than us. We were in trouble, organising a defensive line with only one centre-back we tried to protect that weakness with playing three instead of two central defenders.

"It worked quite well, the goals we conceded were a direct free-kick and a good shot. But we needed to lose less balls in midfield and if you do that you have more continuity in attack."

It's one thing saying it, it's another doing it. If he plays McTominay and Matic in defense with Fellaini and Herrera in midfield it's on him and no one else that we play like shit.

Feck off. Looking at that line-up it was clear as a day we wouldn't perform today.

At 2-0 down I’d have gladly taken the draw. Not great, but not all bad. I’m still confident that Jose will turn it round.

This may be the last time Lou Macari and David May will be seen on MUTV. They has been blunt and forthright.

Just seen Jose's interview and have to agree with him. The midfield was awful. Much too slow Or should I say: Pogba was awful. he wants nine touches and to dance a full fecking ballet before releasing the ball. Lukaku actually makes some good runs but the ball never arrives. This is not the manager's fault.. although you can say he has bought the players and picks the team, but how can you prepare for the sort of stupidity Pogba shows time and time again. I think he may well not play against Arsenal unless our injury situation demands it. He can feck of to Barcelona a or back to Juve for all I care. World class? Yeh right and nine is a smaller number than six!

Other negatives: who the feck told Young he could take free kicks. Woeful. fecking woeful. He needs to go and soon.

Positives: I thought Jones actually had a good game, Herrera did some good defensive work but he isn't the creative answer we need. Shaw was pretty good. Dalot looked comfortable when he came on and hopefully Lukaku's goal will restore his confidence and he'll go on a run. Over all, two points from two games against teams who will be fighting relegation all season. That's pis poor and the players must take a lot of the blame

No Smalling, Lindelof, or Bailly. Jones just back off the sick list and Matic and McTominay filling in. I can understand why he set the defence up the way he did but there's no excuse for Pogba's silly antics and leaving Martial on the bench.

Rashford MoM and is taken off. It's disadvantageous to play well for United at the moment as you get taken off while mediocrity gets to play the full match.
