Made me think of the scene from Inglorious Basterds.

“Nazi here wants to die for country. Oblige him”
It's unfortunate that this time the bad guy walks away with a fat wedge of money and laughs his way into the sunset whilst slagging off the club and players to high heaven.

I wonder at what point someone will do anything about this whole situation. We've become a joke, I don't understand how such a big establishment is so badly run from top to bottom.

He's drained the confidence out of almost all our players with Pogba being an exception. Now he's turning on him again but he's met his match and will only lose that battle. The board cannot and will not sacrifice our best player for a manager who's totally lost it. If that did happen I'll be joining the I'm out brigade.

Pogba is a virus - Mourinho is a shit manager. They are both correct. Pogba was our worst player yesterday, and realistically you can't have a player like that in your squad. He plays for himself - not for the team.

It is his problem when he trots around the pitch, tries drag backs and loses the ball and generally stinks out the place though.

Im firmly of the opinion both he and mourinho both need to go.
What did Matic do? Stop picking on Pogba it’s damn right deluded. Would Liverpool fans criticise Gerrard.

So hes gonna make paul a scapegoat for his bad play but not matic who has been downright atrocious this season. Matic cost the team a goal last game and despite being utter crap paul didn't.

Surely no big club will touch Jose with a barge pole now. They are seeing him at his worst to our teams detriment.
We all saw it at Chelsea but Utd were stupid enough to believe a change of scenery would change him. Other big clubs would be willing to risk it too, only question is who? He's burnt a lot of bridges over the years.

Pogba was awful yesterday but Mourinho can have no complaints about a player phoning it in when he fielded that line-up and made those subs.

Can't see any top player wanting to join us if Jose is still here, not any who aren't on zimmer frames. We need to get rid of him and fast. Paul is popular with a lot of other players and they will be taking note of how Jose is treating his talented players.

The caf has short memories like Mourinho. Didn't Pogba and Martial supposedly save Jose from the sack a few games ago? Also, Pogba has performed better than most players this season.

I’m very dubious about these quotes tbh.

If they are true, Mou hasn’t just decided Pogba is “a virus”, that is an assessment that would have been made over time. And why the feck would he still be playing him?

Yep, we need an enormous clear out and suck it up in the inevitable loss on sales.

Pogba bears the brunt of it because the only thing getting in the way of him actually being a proper player is his immaturity. If he gets over that he will be huge for someone but it looks like that won't be us. It really is a pity that the lad is such a massive bell.

Jose needs to go too. It's just really hard to see the way forward from here. Sad times.
Totally agree, we have too many players who are simply not good enough and too many who think they are. Pogba, Sanchez, Jones, Young, Lukaku, Fred, Lindelof, Bailly, Valencia, Darmian, all should be released. Smalling, Herrera, Fellaini would be good squad players, not starters, and Rashford and Lingard deserve another chance; Mata should start each game in the middle as our play maker, he has been woefully under used and played out of position. And Jose should be replaced by a manager with modern, attacking ideals who should be fully supported in the transfer market.

Being cynical Id say because the bean counters want him playing in order to sell shirts etc.

UTD! I am not fond of the Glazers.
I hope it is over for Mou. Even though Pogba was very bad, I just know that it is not because he does not respect the club or what ever bull*hit like that. It is simply because we play so bad football and he cant stand it. Gets to his head.

Pogba's showboating is a big problem, there again he kept this crap at a minimum with both france and juve.

I'm so sick of what is going on in this great club, that I actually cried in front of my wife last night. Yes I had a few, but I'm not making an excuse, it's just gone too far now. Players are playing at walking pace, and most seem they don't want to play for our club.

What are the board doing about it, NOTHING.The biggest club in the world being made a laughing stock. Sir Alex couldn't even hold back yesterday when he seen the second goal going in for Southampton, from a free kick given away meaninglessly. This manager coming out after the game saying we want "Mad Dogs" to play now. Then he should let loose Fred and Bailly, players that show some heart when they play.

The excuses this manger give before and after every games, is ridiculous. He is playing a game with the board to bring in more players in January and we as fans are suffering, imo. We all know that we are a way behind and need players, but not QUICK FIX players, like he wants. He is not a manger who will persevere with Young players, he just hangs them out to dry. We have a problem in the Back Line and in Midfield where there is a BIG HOLE left every game we play. There is no connection with our forwards. When Fred plays, he gives us this connection, but Mourinho don't like this it seems. Bailly gives us more mobility and Strength in the CB area, but he don't play him. He plays Matic at CB with Fellaini and Herrera who both seem to sit in front of the back 4 and leave this big Hole in the middle of the park.

He said when Fred was bought, that he was the link between Matic and Pogba, to drive us forward, yet he don't play him. He also said that Bailly was one of the best CB's around at the time, but don't play him. Does he want to get the sack,?? or is it that the players no longer want to play under him. No player has improved in his tenure, in fact a lot of players have gone Backwards.

It's gone too far now, and the board needs to step in and rectify this ASAP or we will fall so far behind the top teams that it will take us years to get back to where we belong, at the top.

Pogba was horrendous last night but my blame goes to Jose. He set us up with Matic and McTominay playing from the back at Southampton… Jose has blamed Pogba for our failure and not someone like Matic because he’s loyal to him. I can only hope Woodward can see the damage Jose is doing and the potential of losing one of the big names. We’re rotting away.

Jose is a twat, always has been, always will be.

Can't argue about is supposed Pogba comments though, he was terrible last night. He just looked like he couldn't be arsed. At least play for the club, the shirt, the fans FFS.

I've supported this club for over 40 years and I think this is the lowest I've ever felt about us. Sick of it now. A major overhaul is needed, from top to bottom.

They're both viruses, and I'd be happy to see them both fecked off. Pogba's the kind of virus that comes up with a "you've just won an iPhone!!" pop up but ends up destroying your computer when you click on it; whilst Jose is the type you get from visiting seedy adult sites* that rots your computer and steals your credit card data, but you know you deserve it for visiting said sites.

*Which I know nothing about.

Well said mate. Couldn't agree more. Do the Chairman, Manager and Players know how much the club means to us fans? Do they care enough? Doubt it.

Can we please stop calling ourselves "The biggest club in the world" or "One of the best clubs in the world". We are neither.

Mourinho really needs to go at this point. Even if he's 100% right about Pogba, he's still the main person at fault for it as he keeps picking him. He's changed the team around to fit Pogba in the position he supposedly wants to play in. He made him the fecking captain based on absolutely nothing. Why are you doing that for someone who apparently can't even be bothered to try?

I don't understand though how anyone can defend Pogba either at this point. Some of his performances and some of the stuff he does during a game, for a person of his ability, are geniunely disgraceful. It's not the odd one or two a season either. A majority of his performances over the last 2 years come into this category. It's weird how people's mindframes work for certain players. If we still had Rooney and he was putting in the performances that Pogba does, people on here would literally be calling for him to be murdered by now. Pogba is paid hundreds of thousands of pounds a week to be porefessional athlete, and he's coming out week after week and blatantly just taking the piss, while his team are struggling

I stopped supporting man city about a year ago but I dont know how to change it
How do you switch from city to united in this state? How do you even switch clubs at any state?

Not a dig, just really interested in the reasons.

I had given up on Jose.. I gave up on Pogba after last night's match.

I have no interest in him staying at United. He does his own thing far too often.

They can both go. I wouldnt care.

The problem is though, 3 mangers have failed in a row.. If, and I have no idea if its true, only people running the club would know, but if its because the players act like dicks the mangers failing is down to "player power", then the priority must be to get them out first.

I honestly don't care either way anymore.

I liked both but i started to like manchester united more. I only really liked manchester city because my favorite player was mario balotelli when I became a football fan. I was a fan of raheem sterling so i continued to watch them. When i saw united for the first time i just liked them and the more i watched the more my like grew and now im a full blown united fan. Also Im american so the who rivals stuff doesnt register with me

Mourinho is right: Pogba is a grade A c***, and not an honest professional. Unfortunately, Mourinho is a complete bellend too.
