Pogba's cameo tonight was an utter joke, no desire no intensity whatsoever.

Mourinho is an utter moron but Pogba's performances have been disgraceful at times this season.

Jose just giving pogba enough rope to get hang himself with this season. Gives captaincy, takes it away. Starts benching him, reinstates him. Calls him a virus and brings him on to win a match we weren’t really going to win. He’s showing the fans pogba isn’t all that. He can say look at all the chances I gave him etc etc and it’s true, he has. Jose’s man management of pogba has been very public and very poor given that he’s his signing and the British record. Surely he’d know he’s not a leader given what we were spending on him. Jose also giving the poor me thing again today about how all the other clubs have improved, Spurs by keeping their best players... we haven’t lost anyone and we spent 70 million. It’s up to Jose to manage them. I can’t wait for this chapter to be over. We are terrible.

Say what you want about Mourinho but I hope we sell this joker ASAP.

Disgraceful performances lately. We played with nine men when Pogba and Fella came on.
Pogba's having bad form but how booing him helped? Just don't play him or whatever keep it behind the scene
Unless I've missed something he hasn't offensively said anything for a while now unlike that man in charge.

Turning fans against players. Genius man management right there

I see this has become the de facto Mourinho in thread. How quickly you forget that for most of the season Pogba was the only player doing anything vaguely good for the team.

He should see how he played with France and Jose will realize he is him self is the virus. Actually you can not tell that to a player and you will know everything now is in public.

Unfortunately, Pogba was also booed by France fans.

Pogba was fantastic in the World cup, which is an anomaly in his international career.

When he came on, he should put everything on the line to prove a point but instead of that played his usual lazy self. The difference in energy of drive without him is huge. Even Matic looked good without him.

Jose at his manipulative best. Parts of the crowd falling for it. Pogba must have felt like shit.

People saying we shouldn't have a go at the crowd, they aren't the only fans who spend time and money on United, not because not everyone can get to a match or every match.

It was really counterproductive what they did tonight to Pogba. How they can still support Jose when he's constantly belittled our club is beyond my comprehension.

This.

No wonder Ed isn't in a hurry to pull the trigger. Why should he when the supporters seem so content?

Always back the manager. Even if he’s driving a bus off the cliff, always! Really wish fergie didn’t do that.

Mourinho can't stop banging on about the team needing more quality players, but when he gets them he has absolutely no idea what to do with it.

Stop asking for a Ferrari if you can't even drive a Fiesta.

Oh wait, did the fans booed Pogba? I didn't hear that. If so the guy will surely leave.
You'd think after putting in his worst ever performance in a United shirt at the weekend, he might have made a bit of effort tonight. Didn't look arsed. Bye bye Paul.

Would Matic get booed if he was coming on? Probably not, and yet he's clearly been a lot worse than Pogba this season.
Nothing to do with being worse. Matic gives his all and leaves everything on the pitch. Selection is on the manager, it's not Matic's fault that Mourinho has played him into a shell of himself. What players can control is effort on the pitch and that's what fans judge them by.

OMG seriously! Still some backing Jose? Against Players ffs.
That's why Jose gets away with crap. Let them carry on being 'righteous'. Jose always pulls some shit. You think he didn't know the fans were turning? Yes, let's scapegoat someone else and shift the focus. And some people fell for that nonsense. It's such an obvious ploy and he uses it over and over again, and still some fans can't see through it.

Yes Pogba didn't do well against Southampton, but others have been appalling for most of the season so far, yet Jose says nothing about them because they kiss his ass. The bloody hypocrisy of the man.

Crowd booing him, I'm not surprised he went into his shell. Hung out to dry by his vindictive manager.

Ah yeah, first time Pogba's ever put in a pub level performance for us. I wonder if your head could handle it if someone wanted both Mourinho and Pogba to leave. It would shatter your whole world view.

There's a major difference between not doing well and completely phoning it in. Herrera went through a spell of not doing well, never got booed. Pogba hasn't been trying a leg, got booed.

It's almost as if there aren't enough kicks in the arse going to get his head right. Liability.

Fans need to get it out their heads - Fergie was a one off. He also earned the respect he had and unconditional support. Jose disgraces our club, and still they back him.
Fergie said what he said in good faith, but I guarantee he wouldn't be backing Jose if he were in charge. Plus Fergie said back the manager - he didn't say to disengage your brain. How they can't see Jose for what he is I don't know.
