How matic fare in that list?
It doesn't matter because he gives 100% and so therefore should always be starting and Pogba can replace him when he comes off.....oh wait, he never does. Nevermind then, sell Pogba.

Most things we read in the media are mere rumours. I don't know if this Pogba is a virus thing is true or not but I believe the idea that Jose has bad relationships with his players is a false narrative considering what some of the players have recently said. And the way they are playing lately, certainly doesn't seem like they are not playing for their manager. Except of course, for Pogba.

Mourinho's lap dog Duncan Castles has now come out with two hit pieces on Pogba. Mourinho centers the discussion around Pogba not being committed even though he's been one of our better players this season.
No he hasn't.
He holds onto the ball too long, loses the ball, doesn't track back. Has he ever sprinted? He jogs about the place like a prancing pony.

88th minute they showed Pogba on the bench. He had ear buds in.

I took a screen shot but don’t know how to post images. But I posted it to imgur if you would like a link

I'd love to see that link, because I've just watched back minute 86-90 and all I see near Pogba's ears is the red cord of the beanie he's wearing...

That’s what I saw, I guess it’s just a red cord from his beanie? I guess I mistook that for a headphone cable. Didn’t make sense that there would be a red string hanging from the beanie.

It's just a cord to pull the beanie tighter and I guess to make it fit for all sizes. I took a screenshot but in realtime you can see it more clearly.

Totally makes more sense that he'd be listening to music though, of course

Most chances created and he's been involved directly or indirectly in the most amount of goals in the squad since he's played here so the stats back up him being our best outfield player but you lot hellbent on scapegoating him will see what you want to see just as the guy who imagined him wearing earbuds on the bench

Also in regards to sprinting, who in this team really runs outside of Rashford and Lingard? The whole squad is at the bottom of distance covered in the league,it's not an individual issue as you're making it seem. It's been an issue with the whole squad not just one or 2 isolated cases

i haven't scapegoated anyone what are you smoking? I just don't think he has been pulling up any trees. Nor do the likes of Scholes and Rio but what do they know.

Most over rated player thats played and signed for United in years, but also underrated by the other half.

Reality is the France NT is extremely stacked, and would and should've won the world cup without him, labelling him as a World Cup winner and parading it around as if he has some special privileges is a joke. He was maybe a top 5 player in their team, and that still doesn't mean hes world class because hes extremely inconsistent. He himself has enough of an ego as it is due to several things including his world cup victory, you can see it also in jokers like Griezzmann who's deluded himself into thinking hes the best player in the world, let alone top 10 at a stretch.

Us fans (me included) have fought and argued for why Pogba wasnt consistent for years at this point. The formation doesnt suit him, he needs better partners, etc. We've tried literally everything and he is still inconsistent as ever. A much less talented player like Herrerra is more consistent in you know what you get out of him, Pogba is a wild card as he can look like a world beater or an absolute clown like hes looked against Sevilla and Southampton.

A player like that isnt worth the head ache, especially with his ego and agent. If we get a 100 mill + offer for him, whoever the manager is, we should let him go, we won't because hes a marketing dream for Woodward & co. but we definitely should. If he shines in a team that has quality in every position, like Juventus and France do, so be it. I'd rather take someone like Verratti, Casemiro, James, Pjanic, etc. for a much lower price and more consistency.

for instance, Fernandinho is MUCH more impactful for City then he is for us. Fernandinho. And you cant really argue against that

I liked both but i started to like manchester united more. I only really liked manchester city because my favorite player was mario balotelli when I became a football fan. I was a fan of raheem sterling so i continued to watch them. When i saw united for the first time i just liked them and the more i watched the more my like grew and now im a full blown united fan. Also Im american so the who rivals stuff doesnt register with me
Post of the year?

Worst post of the year?

I don't know.

Out of interest, how old are you? My ex's nephew, from France, used to switch teams depending on who was doing best in the league in any particular year, when he was like, 10, or something.

And then thought "I'll go on the Car and post another negative Pogba post"?
In a thread questioning Pogba as a virus I see what I thought was Pogba wearing earbuds during a game which would indeed question his commitment and so I posted that. I was then later proven incorrect by Henrik who posted a proper retort to what I thought to be true. Are we not suppose to post anything negative towards players? If he had been wearing earbuds during the game (which has now been revealed as a string) would that not be fair game to comment on?

Good post.
Ive always said that Pogba makes great Youtube compilation videos, but he doesnt have the football brain to dictate games and i doubt he will carry us or any team to the top ever

This is my favourite point you've made. And another example is Kante for Chelsea. Pogba has more talent in a single foot than these 2 players have in their whole body, but what these players excel at is working for the team, and make the team function well in 95% of games.

When Pogba plays well we play well, too bad Pogba regularly puts out stinkers. I'd prefer a less talented and more functional player that has a high bottom level. Someone that puts out 7-8/10 performances like clockwork instead of Pogba who fluctuates between 3/10 and 10/10.

I love herrerra but he cant be our best midfielder if we want to win or challenge for the league. We need someone of james, pjanic, verratti, casemiro type quality and consistency to be our main man in midfield. Maybe even Asensio or Isco if we get a more attacking coach

Asensio is completely overrated but I think he is ok player and nothing special compared to the like of Sterling, Mbappe, Sane, Martial, Dembele. Isco is very talented but fecking inconsistent and often hold on balls longer. James is also inconsistent. Pjanic and Verrati is a talented player who can deliver consistent performance.

He probably jeezed himself from the thought of finding something to criticise Pogba about. The witch hunt in full force.

so this is what We've come into, analyzing cables
This is what the sheep on the caf do, they over analize and over scrutinise everything the player that's been targeted by Mourinho in that specific period.

Happened to both Shaw and Martial. Now it's Pogba's turn because Mourinho has started his public war and scapegoated him.

I remember Martial getting flack on these boards about some of the stupidest and pettiest things one could think of. Just wait and you'll see much worse to come in this scapegoating of Pogba. I'm used to agenda posters on the caf and now I just laugh and shake my head because I know they don't know any better.

Look at the stats. Without Pogba we'd be bottom half of the table... Its clear you have a bias against him.

Martial, Rashford now Pogba. I wonder who will be next until the season is out. I think Bailly might get some games soon, then he’ll throw him under the bus.

Gotta hand it to Mourinho, they way he's spinning this whole situation to imply Pogba is the issue. To make it even more bizarre Mourinho himself commented that lack of having Pogba vs. City was a huge blow, but now when we nuked the poor Fulham side "Pogba must have the same mentality as other players". Fact is with Pogba we would have blasted Fulham.

People that are buying all that and are OK with seeing the back of Pogba without even looking what he can do understand a different, more attacking manager, is the most bizarre thing of all.

Like I said criticism towards Pogba has shifted from "trying too hard" implying the he's trying too much on his own, which was somewhat expected considering he's more often than not our only creative, go-to-guy, to "he isn't trying hard enough" implying there's no "pashin and dessiah" in his game...

Jose will play him against Valencia and will bench him against Liverpool no matter how good he was, And will play Matic and Fellaini in midfield of three against Liverpool becuase he is Jose Mourinho.

People see what they want to see generally speaking

For example, you see racism as being prevalent in football, whilst I do not. Interesting how this works.
What's your opinion on the sterling incident?

Still just people seeing what they want to see?

Or are you more willing to accept there is a huge issue of racism in football?
