Fergie was brought down to make us more like Liverpool: we did that but have continued to copy them - all the way to mediocrity. We have so much dead wood, they could make bloody Noah's ark. Almost no one deserves to wear the shirt although I though Bailly and Lindeloff looked OK and should be allowed to build a partnership, plus Darmian was good. Not sure why he took dalot off and left idiot Young on. I presume as soon as we go out in the round of 16 in the CL, jose will be gone but the whole club is rotten to the fecking core. said it in the summer: its a disgrace we don't have proper full backs but wow the midfield is so uncreative it's amazing we are even further down the league. DDG had his best game of the season and was really unlucky with the deflections

At the 67th minute I was still a believer then I just started to nervously laugh.

Liverpool deserved the win. Hopefully we'll drop enough points this month to be rid of this useless cnut of a manager by the new year.

That was gutless. Jose needs to go. The players also need to take responsibility, gutless and shameful.

Worst thing about today wasn't the manner of the defeat; but the fact you can just tell a lot of the players and the manager don't even care enough to be ashamed.

At what point does the "big 6" become the "big 5"?

We are nowhere near any of the top 5 sides. Mid table team, got a plucky draw with Arsenal the other week, comfortably beaten away at the big sides. Mid table.
History and money keeps us in the big 6 at the moment.

Don't even care anymore. What's the point in football when Mourinho is manager?

I was still hopeful though:( We could have made a go of this with the right set up and personnel. That the manager resisted that in favour of his negativity absolutely kills me. A ManUtd manager sabotaging us and not even giving us a chance.
It was a bit like the Southampton game. Get back in and you think we will give it a real go in the second half. A couple of good subs and it could have been different. He's a fecking coward. I am so angry.

Our +2 GD :(
:lol::(

Felt sorry for Rashford who tried his hardest and never gave up. Baily surprised me with some good steady defending and Darmian did ok. You could see we were set up to let their midfield have possession and then hit them on the counter but Herrera and Matic were just swamped in the first half. You need a striker to hold the ball up if you're going to play this type of counter attacking football and Lukaku was horrendous.

There is always a period where a manager is hanging on to his job and this is Mourinho digging his heels in to stretch it out, the man is yesterday’s man and he’s took your club back 10 years. Love to hear Fergie give his honest opinion of what he’s just had to endure.

I know pictures aren't normally welcome in the football forums, but I think this one speaks a lot of words:

Pictures are fine in the Football Forums - reaction memes and animated gifs are not.

Starting to think that the board have accepted they are part to blame for this season for not backing Jose in the summer. Only reason I can think of that he's still in a job.

It just dawned on me watching that... I'd rather have LvG back. That's how bad and boring it is.

Ed Woodward complaining in the stands was a fecking joke. You literally have the power to do something, have the balls to make a decision if you don’t like it.

I don’t really even know where to start. Lukaku has to be one of the worst strikers I’ve seen leading a United line. Did he do anything at all today?

Other than that, the rest were out their depth.

Liverpool started at such fierce pace Man Utd did well to be level at HT. The game was clearly so one-sided a Liverpool win was never in doubt.

I am reminded of the old myth that you have to invite the vampire into your house before he can drain the blood out of you. The club opened the door to Mourinho, and now it has come to pass. I watched the team that got relegated in the 70s and they had more fight than this. He has to go.

Abysmal performance. I expected us to be battered (which alone sounds terrible), but not like this. 36 fecking attempts versus our 4. You can’t see those stats even in a game of Fifa. Add to that that we were constantly on the back foot, playing with a back 5. Fecking hell, this is nightmare stuff. The difference between us and the teams in the top is just insane.

So Herrera gets a better rating because the caf likes him. He was completely at fault for the second goal and a lot of misplaced passes. Worse than Matic comfortably.

At least I know now that Liverpool was lucky to buy luck last summer.. Disgusting losing with two own goals.

Embarrassingly awful. I don't want to hear how lucky Shaqiri and Liverpool were, without being particularly great or clinical they left us standing and the scoreline flatters us.

We need changes in pretty much all areas of the club but let's make a start now by showing Jose the door. We need something to give the club a lift.

That reminded me of a poor third division side playing a top side away trying to escape with a draw, how have we suddenly become such a poor side, we will need about 3 transfer windows to get to any sort of parity

goal difference back to even. Absolutey dominated as shown by the stats, 36 shots against us, at one point they had 76% possession. Ridiculous from the team and manager. Rashford and De Gea are the only ones that came out of the game with any credit. Jose needs to go now, cant keep watching this shit show week in week out. Players dont know who are playing from week to week, no stability and no direction.

Martino <so> on NBC calling it like it is. Bunch if businessmen running the club only caring about the bottom line.

Embarrassed and ashamed. Attempts at goal 36-6 to them. Yes, two goals were lucky deflections, but they took us to school today. How have we regressed so much in six months? What is going on at the club, from top to bottom? This isn't Manchester United; the owners, executives and manager are all failing in their duties. fecking shambles and fecking unacceptable.
