What do you reckon? He spent a year here, didnt do much and then left. Will he be booed by the supporters? Is he worth being booed by supporters? Or will he get the Karel Poborsky "I remember him!" reception where we give him a round of applause. Going to be interesting to see.

World class player that didn’t want to be here. I wouldn’t boo him but there will be some that will

What is the point. He is a dangerous player it just didn't work out. Van Gaal was partly to blame for that because he used him in 10 different positions.

- Actually not much different to Mourinho and Pogba. Talented players under a Manager who doesn't know how to get the best out of them

Meh, he'll get a few boos simply for the fact he was the record signing - then proceeded to do very little. Poborsky was almost unknown to us before Euro '96 and SAF picked him up on the back of a very good tournament - a bit like Hernandez. Anyway, there wasn't much expectation on Poborsky like their was with ADM, he won't get a warm greeting, but he won't be booed for every kick either.

Neither boo or cheer him as he's irrelevant to this club.

I can never see why we ever signed a player who never wanted to be here.

Probably a little bit of booing, but I don't think people give a hell about him. Ran away from adversity. He should be laughed at if anything.

Can't imagine there will be a reaction. Insignificant player in the grand scheme.

Bound to score though.

We have other problems than Di Maria to be honest. I mean yeah he downtooled probably and was a bit shit at the end after a great start, but i dont think most care. Some call him a snake on here, but most feel indifferent nowadays.

No one cares, but he will dive probably from the first minute so he will be booed.

Large indifference. You could count his good performances on one hand.

Although we should sing Who Can Rob Your Houses at some point...

...because them scousers right?

No reception. Feels like he was only here for a few games. In the grand scheme on the club and its ex players he's a talented nobody to us.

Perhaps a quick round of boo’s to show the displeasure of how he downed tools and that’s it. He’s not worth any more attention than that.

Nothing will happen and rightly so. I hate him as a personality but it was the right decision for everyone to leave at this time.

Don’t understand why people get annoyed he left. I’d do the same in his circumstances.

We were and still are a mess.
