Gonna be a good singsong on Boxing Day. Hopefully a win to tee us up.

So was looking at his Molde record in EL this year.

Play off was against Zenit. Lost 3-1 away and won 2-1 at home.

Played 433 away and 4231 at home.

This is quality, cannot wait for Saturday now.

From what I can gather solskjaer basically loves his full backs going mental up the flanks overlapping all the time overloading the opposition. Sounds good to me as long as it's Shaw and dalot.

In which case the possibilities are literally endless for who can become a United manager, when you take away the requirement to actually be a proven top manager.
What’s the requirement for being a top proven manager?

It can't be any worse than the past 3 months! Let's just get behind him and try to enjoy some football for a change. We're nowhere near as bad as Jose has led us to believe, that's for sure.
Oh I'm fully behind the lad. His biggest job will be to lift those players. A bit confidence will work wonders as our team isn't mediocre - we do have some good players amidst the dross.

Shaw will have a heart attack doing all that running.

Some of the ingredients behind Oles success were Sir ALex, the class of 92 and Eric Cantona. And Stam, one of the factor behind the treble. Now, those factors has been change. The units of the car are different. And your opponent teams are driving a top car now. Like City and Liverpool. So some factors like really really good players are on their way to United. To reach the same level of the factors like in the 90's. I think it should be more than one really good player, maybe 2-3 or more.
So if its Klopp and Pep time and era, too dominate premier league. And they are might just in the beginning. Its huge task for Ole or whatever who will take over as interim or permanent manager.

Zidane and Ronaldo were smart enough to jump off that REal Madrid sinking ship. Ronaldo joined a better young ship in Juventus. How can you replace players like Ramos and Ronaldo? Its same with Sir ALex, the class of 92. You shall believe in yourself, but at the same time know others factors like teammates. So again, United squad are not so worst. Shall be good enough for top 4 before the season. But to beat Pep and Klopp. Its a huge task, not simple. But we never know. What the future will bring. But beeing positive and no bad acts. Beside luck are really important factors. Example Mourinho acting with the female doctor at Chelsea. After that it just went downhill for Mourinho. Mourinho won Uefa because of poor opponents. Season after Wenger and Arsenal face A.Madrid.

All the puzzles and factors shall be on top. If the factors/ingredients has and are changing, naturally the result will be different. For me, Uniteds ingredients rite now, anno 2018 are not as good as the 90's and Sir Alex Era. So again, if Ole are going to win premier league with United in the future. Im exciting which top quality players are knocking and are on theirs way to Old Trafford. They has to come, If Ole gonna win premier league with United. Exciting.

I wonder how high Ole's energy and stamina levels are. Maybe he can play instead of, huh, let's say, certain Belgian player, and no, not Felli.

Funny how football works... His first game will be against the only English team he's managed.

Can't wait for the Huddersfield game at OT next week, should be a cracking atmosphere

*Appoints 3 wins out of 18 Premier League matches Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who had a fecking nightmare at Cardiff*

“feck yes. Solskjaer!”

CLUELESS.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we finished bottom half of the table now. We’re not far off it. If Solskjaer doesn’t start winning right away, he should go. Interim or not. I’m not watching United become a fecking parody of themselves.

Some fans were turning their nose up at 4 League Title winning Laurent Blanc but are now creaming themselves at the thought of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.... The state of this fan base is Embarrassing sometimes.

He gave Haland a chance this season, he's an 18 year old CF. Ended up being top scorer for Molde with 12 goals in 1,594mins. That should be music to the ears of all our young players.

SO what happens if he does a very good job in the next 6 months? Surely the idea is that this is a working job interview? Otherwise what’s the point.
Think Poch will be installed as manager no matter what imo.

Imagine being optimistic at appointing a club legend on an interim basis during a season that is already over.

Weirdo.

I want to be positive about this as i adore Ole but I have to say i'm really worried. People saying it can't get any worse...It can. We could slip further down the table. Really hope he brings some well needed positivity and an attack-minded approach but he will need Pogba and the rest to pull their fingers out and stop taking the piss.
So what if we slip further down the table? If we're not in the top for or a relegation battle then what's the difference?

Even if he does really badly, we finish even lower in the table them we currently are and get knocked out of the CL, does it matter? We'll have a new manager in the summer regardless and we can forget all about it.

The only way this appointment matters is if it's succesful. Otherwise it's a brief footnote

Ok I get it you think Poch is your next manager, I don’t, lets not play pissing games. Seriously though, why go to the bother of appointing Ole, when Jose could just stay and save £20M or stick with Carrick or McKenna who basically took the training anyway... it’s a little strange.

Yeah pretty sure the nostalgia will wear off quite quickly when people begin to realise how far out of his league he is managing this club. Weird appointment. Blanc makes much more sense

We will lose 6 months more and when new manager comes, he will need time to adapt, evaluate squad etc..
I am totally against this. We should hire new manager in january. If he is tied with another club buy out his contract; if he is free then hire him now.

Edit: btw, what is situation in Spurs camp? Do you believe that Poch will leave? Any news about that?

So this is how Liverpool fans felt when Dalglish was back in the dugout after Hodgson.
Dalgish wasn't an interim manager.

This is a win win for everyone .
He is a success and our season will end well.
He is a failure and we will never hear about these emotional appointments ever again.

Lets say we want Poch. Would he come in Jan?

While I agree Ole is a bad choice, interim manager is a need of the hour, unfortunately.

I personally wouldn't turn my nose up at Blanc but you do know Solskjaer has won 2 league titles. Is that a million miles away from strolling the french league with ultra dominant PSG?

But the manager would have to agree to that. It'd be extremely difficult to convince someone to join mid season. We want to get our next appointment right, if there was a chance we could have got them now I'm sure we would've already done so.

I don’t know if hiring a new manager now would be possible, Anchelloti or Conte are the only managers available? But I agree that appointing another *new* manager is very strange unless there was a chance Ole was a genuine candidate.
