Was a great firat 60 or so minutes. Some of the touches and link ups were a joy to watch. I know we can't keep the intensity up for a full 90 but the misplaced passes and lazy touches got really bad near the end. Not everything has to be at full speed but when we take it easy it shouldn't be that bad. Still, promising signs and can't wait for the next game.

Nicely done. Created chances and dominated the game. Defense looked lax the second half and it eventually got punished. We really need another wide man so Lingard doesn't have to play out there. I was a bit disappointed in Fred and Dalot, but hopefully they'll keep getting chances because both flash some really nice things. I love watching Pogba in a team that is willing to actually attempt to score. Special player.

Oh yeah!

Good attacking display.
As known, defense is our weak area and we are compensating it by going full attack, and not by playing 8 defensive players. Good!
Looked like everyone shut off in last 10 mins and then conceded a goal. DDG must be mighty p!$$ed.

Well done Ole!

Great 3 points. Huddersfield were hard working and competitive which meant it was difficult to break them down at times, also we missed Martial here.

But it was a good display, Pogba was ace as was Mata and Rashford.

Certainly content that we look like we're comfortable against smaller teams again.

All those 2/3-0 wins we took for granted under SAF have been missing for so long. More of that and the whole team will be on form and we can make OT a fortress once more.

Huddersfield caused us problems and the lack of a clean sheet is annoying as ever but overall a good performance. Let's just keep these up for the next few matches and get points and goals on the board and we'll see where we are come the Spurs (I think that's the next big test?) game.

Feels good to look forward to United games again doesn't it?

Thats what 89m gets you! Class from Pogba today.

Really sloppy second half unfortunately, but feels great that we can still win comfortably without playing out of our skin.

I want to see more of Gomes! Looked nervous today but there is an hell of a player in there.

Huddersfield gave it a go today and came close a number of times, but i thought quality from a few players shone through to give us the result. Good watch again two games with an attacking minded manager shows what we can do.

As the players get more used to ole's tactics i am sure it will get and look better. Jose has been found out and so far it has been the best decision the club has made. fingers crossed it continues.

Comprehensive win but let’s be honest that second half was very sloppy. Still very good and much more to look forwars too.

Who knew that inferior teams will eventually fold as long as you keep attacking and putting pressure on their defenses.

Honestly we were very lucky at times, if we didnt have DDG the game would had complicated.

Still lots of work to do, but things are looking WAY better

Happy enough with that, not as fluid maybe as the Cardiff game but certainly a huge improvement on previous home games. Huddersfield are not a bad side, very organised, try to play football, they just lack a real goal threat.

Good performance. Huddersfield were very good here and made it tough for us but we showed our class and dominated for large stretches of the game, created plenty and kept pushing on for that second goal. This was exactly the type that we would regularly drop points in before because Mourinho would pull back in the 2nd half to try and kill the game and then we'd concede a dumb late goal like we did today, only now since we kept pushing we had 3 goals ourselves.

Pogba was fantastic all game. Easy motm. Rashford had a good game, kept running like mad all game. Lingard as well was very good. Ole's subs were perfect for what the game needed. We missed Martial a little bit, though Mata himself was decent.

Main thing we can say is that we have plenty to look forward to until the end of the season, Manchester United feels like Manchester United again:devil:

The thing is Mourinho was right about our dodgy defence (to be fair anyone of us could point that out) but Ole is proving that it’s better to play to our strengths than to cover or weaknesses.

Winning is obviously more important than not conceding...

Great to see the players playing like they actually give a feck. I know it’s early days but you can really see the impact ole has made

Mata, Rashford and Matic all impressive today but Pogba was the best player on the pitch by a country mile. He stands out when he performs like that.

I think we were all expecting 5 again, and feel a bit flat. Imagine if this had been 2 weeks ago we would have been shouting from the rafters. Saying that Huddersfield gave us a game 2nd half. Im liking the new Lindelof and to a slight lesser extent Jones. Pogba MOTM and 2 superb goals. Even Matic has a new lease of life. Lingard, Fred, Dalot and Rashford were average but everyone else were good. It shows a manager with the right mentality can get a tune out of these players. Nice touch to give Gomes a cameo.

We were a joy to watch as times again, still a bit of ironing out to do but anyone that wasn't expected that is deluded. Pogba, Matic, Rashford and De Gea all key. Let's keep this going boys.

Was a bit nervy when we were 1-0 up and Huddersfield came at us but the second goal settled it.

Lots of possession in the first half but very little in the way of clearcut chances. Was a bit too tiki-taka'y without the end product. We need someone who can run with the ball, all our threat was from Rashford coming out wide and doing something with the ball. Martial playing would give us that but I wouldn't mind another player who can take a player on.

Fred was really bad. He had some good forward passes but I was nervous every time he tried to receive the ball under pressure or when he tries to run with it. The double sub (Fred -> Herrera, Dalot -> Young) was great and that settled the midfield a little bit more. I think Matic, Herrera, Pogba needs to be our first choice midfield definitely.

Defence was really shaky, and we could barely deal with set pieces and crosses. I'm not sure how big a deal this is and if the back four plays consistently I think things will click.

Overall, was a really fun game again and will take the 3-1!

Very good win. Dominated most of the game and saw it though. Few nervy moments but thats it. The goals feels deserved , not like ones we got last year towards the end of the game.

The physical nature of this game was too much for Dalot and Fred. Fred's touch, passing and defending was terrible. IMO it was necessary to give Young and Herrera a much needed break instead of another 90min game. Lindelof was day dreaming after 80th, possibly the rest of the team as well except DDG and Jones.

A different test today for Ole but got through it. Had to grind it our in some parts, but that's normal in the PL.

Very happy. Let's keep improving. It's one game at a time.

I am okay to concede goal if that is a price we have to pay by going full attack. Idea is to score at least 1 more than the other team. That's okay. But conceding goal by shutting off and sloppy passes is not acceptable. I am sure Ole will take everyone to task for last 10 mins display.

Rest of the game was joy to watch.

Need Martial for our game to really elevate but this was a good display and it just feels so good to be rid of that virus. Pogba is immense, people with wisdom knew he would be.

We are a little ring rusty in this style of play and it shows in some of the sloppy passing, but everything I want to see from a United team in intent was there and 3 more goals in the bag, Pogba was superb.

From 9 points off 4th to 7 points off City in a week!

Edit: Absolutely no idea how I figured that out, it's 12

I refuse to believe this is down to "new manager syndrome." It's like a cloud has been lifted from the club. They played like a team with a plan today and not just like footballers making it up as they went along. I know it was only Huddersfield but looking at individual performances, you saw players doing things that they would not have dared to do under Mourinho. He really knocked the stuffing out of them confidence-wise.

My wit's end
We visibly stopped trying around about the third goal and Gomes coming. A bit of a shame, because I reckon 4-0 could have been on the cards.

Comfortable in the end. Weathered the early second half pressure well, then Pogba stepost to the fore. Shame not to get a clean sheet. Those lapses in concentration need to be worked out of our game. 3 goals up should be a platform for a shut out .

PS) Fred has technical quality but he has yet to show he offers as much all round as Ander Herrera. Makes you wonder if we bought him just cos City were supposedly interested...?

Another really positive performance.
My favourite goal was that second one, everyone involved and a tidy finish from Pogba.
We werent as strong in the second half but Huddersfield are a difficult side to play against.
There are still plenty of problems and we need some better players, but it's hard to complain too much!
If we get a win against Bournemouth we'll be looking really, really good. We may be too far behind the top 4 to catch them, but a league table as of Solskjaers appointment would be interesting to follow as the season goes on.

Great win, positive football throughout. Never was i in any doubt that United will drop points today, even though Huddersfield did get good chances. But still there are negatives that will need to be addressed. Fred is not good enough, his awareness is really bad and playing a player like that as a DM is just asking for trouble. But most importantly we did not manage to keep a cleansheet again, Jose was right that our defense is not good enough. Ole needs to sort that out because against big teams United will concede.
