"Performance was beyond anything I've witnessed" - Kompany.

WTF? They were lucky to get away with that. If we performed anywhere near our potential, would have beaten them easily.....
Other than the League Cup, every single time we've lost we've started with that midfield. Stop starting that way and I think we'll go unbeaten for the rest of our league games this year.
Never want to see Henderson-Milner-Winjanldum starting another big game away from home ever again. How many fecking times before Klopp sees it feck me.
First the challenge, then mouthing off at Salah after then that interview. fecking shithouse is Kompany.
Undercover stinking rats on this forum really blaming Lovren for that. Dirty stinking rats.

Time to move on from players like Henderson and Lovren. They aren't good enough.

Klopp decided that outcome by starting that midfield though. We all knew exactly what that game was going to look like the second the lineup was announced. No one should be surprised.
Tough one to get points from and they didn’t.
Leave it at that.
And may God soon heal Joe Gomez.

17 more to make a mark.
Up the reds
And by the way that Kompany and Bernardo Silva should both have gone as well as their gob shite manager.
Silva was dissent, dissent, dissent, foul, dive, dissent
Klopp is right. How is that challenge by Kompany not a red card?
I seriously think we're cursed.

I've never seen laughable moments define big games so consistently.

Wouldn't shock me if we lose the league by a point and we have to see that VAR image of the ball being 11mm away.

Now this

Why cant things just go smoothly.

well, nothing ever goes smoothly over a league season. We're into January and we've just had our first loss in the toughest fixture we'll play all season, and we were the worse team so can hardly complain too much.
City are a completely different animal with Fernandinho.

Just shows what difference a midfielder like that can make.

Lovren has been great of late, but his arse does go in big games.

And the Etihad was a cauldron tonight.
He’s a snide fecker though who fets more than the rub of the green with the refs. Should see a few reds each season
Brighton away next. What a massive game.

Any scousers, feel free to copy and paste any of this to help yourselves fit in on RAWK tonight...

Verily the forsaken invaders, their pouches swollen with some dark currency, did slowly raise their guns, muzzles glinting beneath a Mancunian moon, and in an act of long-remembered rancour, these pestilent Blue shirts did raze the magnificent battlements built by the Germanic son of oral splendour.

Thy wonder shall be known and in the act of speaking of this knowing will never be forgotten or unknown.

I love how they're talking about they're 4 points clear so calm down. That's something a serial winning team would say as they have that winning mentality. Wtf have they won? They may pay beautiful attacking football at times but they are serial bottlers. City will win the league and their meltdown will be glorious.

All winning runs start with a defeat. Lets go on another
Bernardo Silva is a right whinging wanker isnt he?
I thought he was a good player, but today he was pretty dirty and every time he fouled he cried to the ref.
Convinced now that we will end up 1 point behind City come May and that 11mm picture will be the new Gerrard thing, genuinely reckon we are cursed.
Na. Spurs and City have a very busy month of football, expect the lead to be even higher by the end of the month
Glad Klopp mentioned the Kompany challenge, it was fecking pathetic seeing him given a yellow
At least the Lovren thread is locked

4 points clear. I will take that. Come on Reds
Beat Brighton and all will be well with the world. City have got game raising Wolves next. Disappointed but got faith in the team
No problem with moaning about City fouls. On another day they go down to ten.

Moaning about their personality though? Because Kompany said a naughty word? Because they were wound up and mouthy all game? Personally I’d love to see some of that in our side, and have done for a while. We’re far too nice. Teams that won trophies are rarely nice.
They were shit. They will draw more games. We will destroy all that comes between us.
Great game, bad results, best team won

Lovren focus on the pitch and not on Instagram

they really ae annoying with this 4 points crap
Honestly, I would've bitten your hand off if you offered me a 4 point lead after 21 games.
Margins against us today. Could've gone either way, which the xG-stats backs me up on (City 1.18 Liverpool 1.38).

I really think we will go on to win it this year.
Before the season, I'd have taken being 4 points behind City after Christmas, so I'm all good. I think we'll keep improving throughout the season too, with Keita, Fabinho and Shaqiri getting more and more accustomed to our style.
The thing that annoys me most, strangely, about this defeat is that them c*nts Sky got what they wanted.
errr
Our greatest glory is not in falling but in rising every time we fall.

Only in this country would you have a Manchester referee in a City Liverpool game, and you just knew he would bottle somewthing.
ok, which one of you is this one
Man City absolutely outplayed Liverpool. I hope there is no pressure built on Liverpool now. Man City won't lose any more games in the league, so Liverpool better watch out.

The Cheats played well tonight, they never stopped running, old man Kompany was on his game,we were sloppy in possession ,but we were unlucky not to get the draw.
Looks like its going to the wire, was hoping for a relatively stress free run in, our next five
Brighton
Palace
Leicester
West Ham
Bournemouth
15 points lads.
Guardiola is a c*nt. Shove yer ribbon up your arse baldy twat, 4 points clear

Haha the meltdown begins.

Easily my favourite and the one that sums them up the best:

"I seriously think we're cursed.

Gary Neville trying to. Back pedal

“Not a red
Well may be
From that angle “

Straight fecking red
When anyone says they think he's a good pundit it constantly winds me up. He fecking despises us with every bone in his body and will have been jumping for joy inside and rubbing it in wherever he can.

Can't wait for the brighton game, just gutted it's so far away.
Jesus, Carragher saying that maybe 2 or 3 refs out of 10 might have given a red, whilst they are replaying Kompany launching himself off the ground both feet in the air, and connecting with Mo.... you couldn't make it up
So City spend a fecking fortune on their squad and if Fernandinho doesn't play then they are fecked.....nice business.
feck it. Hardest game we had left by miles. We are top not them. We have a four point lead not them.

Shrug it off and go and smash Brighton in our next game.
City have to play Chelsea Arsenal and Wolves in the next five games...

Should be a test for them there....

Not sure all is quite right with them. They dont look quite as sorted as they have in days gone by. Certainly looked shaken at the back, a shame we didn’t good and pressure the more often
Ugh why does our next game have to be an FA Cup match

Anyway, here's what we're facing (discounting FA Cup and Champions League):
  • Brighton
  • Crystal Palace
  • Leicester
  • West Ham
  • Bournemouth
  • Man United

here's what they are facing:

  • Wolverhampton
  • Huddersfield
  • Newcastle
  • Arsenal
  • Chelsea
  • Everton

Let's hope we can get maximum points up until the Man Utd game (and, hopefully, smash them feckers) and that Wolverhampton, Arsenal and Chelsea can somehow take points off ManCity. I don't trust Huddersfield, Newcastle (sorry Rafa, but your players are shite) or our bitter blue neighbors at all, so I'm not keeping my hopes up for any of them.

It's still in our hands, it just got a bit harder. Let's refocus, regroup and leave this shit behind us.
