I think Poch is a good manager but I don't think he warrants the clamour for him.

United are easy looking to beat. Poch football might not be as attack or exciting but it'll work in the grand scheme of things. If ole tightens up some of his tactics, I might prefer him.

He has expressed his opinion and he may really feel Pochettino is the right man for the job. The timing isn't ideal since the whole Ole love-in that he was a part of, specially during the post-match interview when he recounted his conversations with Ole after getting the job.

It of course wasn't supposed to be entirely serious, but it's also true that his views in the past have changed with the direction of the wind.
Something obviously has affected you, what was it and why if you don't mind clarifying.
He sounds sensible, but this isn't really the right time for such speculations. Ole is doing great and it's unfair to him to mention Poch at the moment.

When we beat Spurs a few weeks ago I couldn't believe how Poch didn't work out we was getting into there wings and carried on with he's same tactics. I spoke to a few Spurs fans and they said he is stubborn when it comes to things like that and that's he's only downside?

Maybe the reason it was a relatively smooth exit was because Rooney didn't fancy staying to play for Mourinho
I think he's doing positive for Ole, he's taking off the pressure from Ole. He might wants Ole to focus his role as an interim manager not as a next season manager.
I agree with Rooney here, I love Ole and he's done a great job but Poch is more established and fits the club.

We have our old philosophy back with Solskjaer, we'd be ridiculously stupid to get rid. The club will be falling for the same trap it has over and over since Fergie left, just going for a shiny new toy rather than the logical choice. I don't fancy having a manager that has such an emotional connection to a rival, it never works out. Solskjaer knows the club in and out and so does Mike Phelan. If they stay they'll know exactly who to go for in the summer, and then we could actually have a chance at challenging next year.

- has a more proven record, more established as a manager
- his tactics/style seems better (whole system of pressing and attacking) and may suit us
- promote youngster, with some great success in recent years (Kane, Ali)
- working great with budget, despite limited funds, his team has done really well in recent years
Cons
- no gurantee he can adapt here and make good use of our players
- will cost us alot
- no guarantee he may wants to stay here for long term
- Never win a trophy before

- his attacking style is exactly what we all want here, entertaining to watch at times

- he brings happiness to the dressing room, and understands united through and through

Mourinho is the greatest defensive manager in the history of football. But, if anything, Ole has made us more secure at the back.

I thought making ole even caretaker manager was silly and doomed to fail. Now just more than a month since then I now don't see how you can't give Ole the job full time.
He understands the club and how it works on a level that you just can't expect anyone who hasn't been there for a few years to understand.
There is no guarantee that Poch can come in and do here what he's done at Spurs and will cost over 40 mil in compensation apparently so could end up a very expensive mistake, in the meanwhile you have a manager currently making the transition from Mourinho to where we are now look easy.
There is an argument that this is a unique club that can't simply be understood by just any manager, perhaps our biggest mistake post SAF was disrespecting just how important the atmosphere and culture he built around the club was to our success, we could be set to do that again if we don't appoint Ole.
