RVP is miles above the rest in terms of quality, he's old though and struggles to consistently play 90 minutes. Berghuis is probably our most valuable player. He had the most goals & assists totals of all Eredivisie players last year. Behind that Jorgensen is a good striker, though he's been struggling with injuries. The rest of the team are a bit subpar to be honest.

The only big talent in the team right now is left back Tyrell Malacia, he's 19 and has done quite well so far. Honestly, things are a bit glum at Feyenoord. The signings are very uncreative, we were in for Eljero Elia (yet again) and Brian Linssen from Vitesse. Meanwhile Ajax and PSV sign players like Lozano, Ziyech, Tadic etc and Feyenoord fans wonder why we can't compete.

To be fair, I'm used to Feyenoord being a bit shite, but it's all good.
Ya you guys were going thru some rough times but really turned it around good youth players started coming thru and some smart signings was happy to see you guys end your league drought 2 years ago my club Sporting is going thru a smilier drought 16 years without winning our domestic league :( I feel like Ajax and Psv are similar to that of Benfica and Porto and Feyenoord to Sporting.

What do you think of Onana? What's his potential?
I love him, he's such an amazing character and human being as well as a great goalie. He's very quick and aggressive off his line, great reflexes on his line. completely unbeatable in a one-on-one situation. Great with the ball at his feet. His short passing is really good and he has a super well placed, bullety long ball, except it's a little inconsistent some games. His first season I really noticed how he caught balls that I expected him parry, like crosses and shots that would stick to his gloves like glue. he also seems to be a fantastic penalty stopper. He's basically like a more explosive mini-Neuer.

That said he has occasional games where balls seem to get away from him a bit, like rather than having it as a general risk of his, he has games where he just feels a little off once every 2 months or so. Another thing I'm not too sure about is his quality on long shots, I feel like he seems to be beaten a bit too often from shots from really far out some times.

I really rate him, and I'm surprised no team of the calibre Dortmund, Roma, Napoli, Lyon have gone for him yet.

Heerenveen were also denied a very clear penalty when it was 3-3 (after the ref even checked with VAR) and had a 1on1 in injury time to make it 5-4.

Amazing match.

Too bad Feyenoord managed to do even worse and lost 3-1 to relegation fodder.

If I didn't knew you were Dutch or a Feyenoord fan I would say that was a typical Sporting bottlejob.

Mad day, PSV and Ajax both winning by two goals and end up drawing. Don’t see that very often!

Speaking of Sporting, how is Marcel Keizer doing with you guys?
Ups and downs. He started very well smashing the small teams, but on recent weeks the team is struggling. He is a bit conservative on rotations and we have been playing games on a sequence of 3 to 4 days. I personally like him, but knowing the country where we live the stupid press and our deluded fans will want him sacked if we don't win nothing.

While others sign Pepe on the transfer window like Porto, we sign players for peanuts. Hopefully he can survive here, but they made life difficult for Adriaanse or Koeman here, don't know if he has enough backup to support him and compete vs Porto or Benfica. :)

The defending here is beyond atrocious

I thought Ajax would have a shot at knocking out Madrid but they have no chance defending like this

I think they have already conceded more these last few games than they did before the winter break.

In the first half of the season Ajax conceded 8 goals. In the last two matches they have conceded 8 goals

Feyenoord stadium looks stacked. Are those safe standing stands all around the stadium in the lower tier? It's been a while since I've seen something like that in professional football.
