Ronaldo already tearing stuff up. Congrats on the Charity Shield win, MG.

Darlington become the second team to have won all top level domestic trophies.

Fitness counts in the Charity Shield, so Arsenal and Sunderland are going to have nice opening fixtures to the season.

3:0 win at home to Southampton. Good start to the season. I also set Liverpool's tactics so they wouldn't be fielding 70ish rated players, and they ended up going above me in the table.

De Gea (95)

Roberto (91) Christensen (90) Stones (91) Gaya (90)
Goretzka (91) Dele (92)
Martial (90) Griezmann (95)⚽➕➕⭐ Sterling (93)⚽
Mbappe (93)⚽➕

Subs: Kimmich (92), Ramos (95), Alaba (93), Pogba (93), Eriksen (93), Kroos (95), Brandt (90)
Did not travel: Boateng (93), Isco (93), Shaw (89), Mina (89)

Key:
⚽ = Goal
➕ = Assist
⭐ = MOTM
= Subbed off
= Subbed on

Next three games:
CCGG1: Leipzig (A)
MD02: Wolverhampton Wanderers (A)
MD03: Fulham (A)

Damn, hadn't made changes as I didn't know the season started yesterday. Morata played out of position but smashed Villa nonetheless

So with four applicants so far, if any of you want to do a write-up as to why people should vote for you, feel free. If stuck for ideas, here are three from the Man City job voting: Ravelation, gaz1185, Wino1

People who have registered interest so far:
  1. @BenitoSTARR (Queens Park Rangers)
  2. @syrian_scholes (Kidderminster Harriers)
  3. @Ravelation (Ipswich Town)
  4. possibly @Cassady (Plymouth Argyle) if he ever responds

He's not been on the caf in a while :(
I’m always on the Caf, just not on on :) I’ve always been more or a reader, I have an input when I can be bothered.

Shame. Although Liverpool, he may still be interested.
I said to someone via PM yesterday that I was 90% certain of staying at Wolves, I’m getting to the point now where I feel I’m a few rating reviews away from a decent team.

There is still that 10% temptation of starting something else. But I still feel like I can take Wolves further.

Last season I was 9th
Season before 10th and a cup.

Hopefully if I stay, I can push for the top 6 and go quite far in a cup.

To be honest, survival is hard in Div1 when you haven’t got many big guns. Higuain & Insigne pushed me up the table last season. However with Higuain -1 and Insigne going it leaves me a little weaker than last season.

My Under 23s is probably one of my main reasons for staying.

Liverpool needs a pretty big rebuild given there's very few prospects coming through in the squad. You're better off staying 100%
