Defence looks terrible with the injuries.
Would've been nowhere near as much an issue as it currently is if Benatia didn't force a move for a payday. But yeah, Atletico are gonna pump them if they play like this.

Gervinho's still kicking? Feel like I hear of him every 2-3 years when he scores some goals against a big team.

I like Allegri, but I think he'll be the main reason they're not going to win the CL with this current generation.

Only way Juve fight for the Champions League is if their key players are all fit. A couple of injuries and we've seen in the past few weeks how different they look.

Didn't watched the game, but if their defensive line against Atletico is something similar like today they will be watching the Final on the TV.

Chiellini out for 2 weeks, so he should be back.

You're making the mistake of assuming what they do in italy has any relevance to CL. It doesn't. Allegri has yet to be outthought or outcoached in CL knockout rounds, since Harry freaking Redknapp did it in san siro all the way back in 2011 . And that was only made possible by an injury crisis which forced Allegri to pick from a bunch of bad options

Just seen highlights from yesterday, some very poor defending, 6 goals shipped in two games and scoring marginally less than last year. We've seen it against Utd in the CL as well this season. Wondering if they'll suffer from PSG syndrome as well, Too easy for them in the league, hard to change gear for much more challenging CL games.

He's too passive in his style to win CL imo. This will keep hurting them. Also Zidane outsmarted him, what are you talking about?

How much of that final victory was coaching and how much indivual greatness (by Ronaldo mainly)?

First half of that final was very balanced, Juve were probably the better team. Second half they had a complete meltdown though, it's happened too often to Allegri to end up losing the tie after stopping playing on the front foot. Last season at the Bernabeu was similar. After going 3-0 up they stopped going for the fourth and it cost them.

Pochettino definitely outsmarted him last season for most of that tie though, no clue how Tottenham didn't end up winning that.

Yes, but it's more true for them than for most other top teams. One injury or sending off to a key player and they won't make it far, especially with the horrendous draw they got.

When? When Allegri's team tired itself out in Cardiff with a much thinner squad and an inferior starting XI? Or when they played us even over 180 minutes and went out on a last second penalty?

Already replied on this on someone's else post :

Zidane outsmarted Allegri and he had no answers to his tactics on abusing the ground crossing. Madrid scored 3 of their 4 goals in this final via the same play.

No, not really. Depends on who's getting injured/sent off. There is no team ever that could lose 2-3 key players and win in CL. Even our 16/17 side would have gone nowhere had we lost Marcelo and Carvajal

Spalletti not getting sacked soon? Inter is losing at home to Bologna with 15 minutes left.

Feels like they've really dropped off last 6 weeks. 11 points off Napoli if they don't turn things.

I can actually see them re-appointing Mourinho, they have top keeper, striker and some good defenders yet still are miles off Juve and Napoli so mentality big problem there imo and they might think Mourinho can solve that.

Sack that disaster of Spalletti, bring Cambiasso as temporal coach and then bring Simeone.

Inter are fecking shite. Non existent tactics from Spalletti. Just whip it into the box and hope someone gets something on the end of it. Moyesesque.

Lovely play from the new boys for Milan and Olsen as he always is - absolutely useless

Piatek and Paqueta are the first real, thoughtout signings made by Leonardo and Maldini, not made in emergency. Both are GOOD

Milan are in good hands. Inter have a good ownership, but still need to sort out the management. Marotta is a great coup, but he won't be able to assert himself fully until next season

I would take back Mourinho honestly. It would galvanize the fans and i think the team and club situation are good for him. With FFP restrictions coming off and a savvy GM like Marotta....the capital of italian football might finally be back

Atalanta are just 1 point behind the 4th spot atm. They are the most in-form team in serie A in the last month. If they can keep it up they are gonna play in the Champions League next season.

And it'll be fully deserved, too. I'd rather see Atalanta playing against the big boys than the likes of Inter and (as much as it pains me to say this) Milan. Their style of play is just amazing to watch.

Absolutely. Inter are the one who deserve to miss out. They are hacking such a pathetic season after what they spent in the summer.

For me Atalanta is a good side and I hope that they could end the season before Inter (as all Juventus fans do). But it's clear that Atalanta cannot be able to play two important matches in a week, as they would have to do if they manage to qualify for the Champions League. Last time they qualify to the Europe League they had many problems because they can be good only if they run two times more than opponents, and this is not possible two times in a week.

It's always so. Inter always waste huge amounts of money every year, thinking (and worse of all claiming) that next year will be the year they will win the championship. But after some months they begin to complain against their players and managers, and to speak of the coming year, when they will win the championship.

They are really so pathetic than even a supporter of Arsenal like you can make fun of them...
