What next for Mourinho?

Some of the animosity here is beyond belief. Has Ole's 9 in 10 not gotten you out of the hate zone? Seek help people.
I don’t find it funny to laugh at a man in his 50’s falling down, but other than that I still get a great deal of joy from spitting venom at Mourinho. It’s quite cathartic after enduring over a year of being called idiotic, spoilt and a million other things by our fans for thinking that Mourinho should be sacked.

It probably wouldn’t be as cathartic to still hate him if it wasn’t for some of the insufferable bits of our fanbase, but there you go.

I couldn’t be happier with Ole right now  Enjoying what Ole is doing and still enjoying a bit of Mourinho bashing aren’t mutually exclusive, it is possible to enjoy both :)

He’s a multimillionaire that doesn’t have to work another day in his life if he doesnt want to. He’s past it managerial wise but he still won at life more than most people in this thread.

David Moyes, Alan Pardew, Donald Trump and Theresa May are also multimillionaires who have won at life more than most people in this thread and don’t need to work another day. That doesn’t mean that you can’t voice your dislike of them. That’s some very faulty logic.

Despite him being a bellend, it feels a little low to still be gathering here to slag him off and laugh at him falling over. Surely it's time to move on
Yep time to move on now. Odious toad of a man but let's keep the thread about his next job/career and not just laughing at memes of him stacking it. One of the greatest managers of all time, just was never right for us.

This thread is really weird, posters repeatedly talking about how he is a vile man, dis likeable, massive ego, can't stand him etc.

So why are you watching videos with him in it?
If you dislike/hate someone intensely, you’d revel in their misery, wouldn’t you?

It was the same with Moyes and LvG.

He has a problem with gazing, he needs to stay in the moment. He is not grounded, I firmly believe that is why these things keep happening. Universal karma. Like he looks sort of smug, like he is ignoring something obvious in both clips. Yes, it is dumb to have a red carpet out on the ice, bad idea. However he got caught up getting the red carpet treatment ignoring the obvious danger of the slippery ground. Self destructive path. I feel bad for him.

Well deserved. Prick.
Why you wishing injury on him? What’s he done to deserve that? He was terrible at his job, so move on. Not sure what’s going on with the forum lately. People wishing death or injury on people.

He fell down and thankfully he didn’t injure himself, so have a laugh at that.
tbf @Ban does constantly make sarcastic comments brought to him by the caf. People mocking him deserve to have that kind of public fall too.

It would have been easier to move on if he did the same. Instead he keeps talking about how mean the club was with him for not allowing him to play real life football manager. That's despite some rookie was able to slot in and do a way better job

I found his interview at bein as surreal. The guy genuinely think that after losing three dressing rooms at a row he will still be able to cherry pick a top job were the owners shares his vision. That's sad.

Don’t the mods on here usually come down hard on posters wishing injuries on players? So what’s the difference?

Mourinho’s “offence” to deserve this obsession & ire: He came to a football club, tried his best, but ultimately failed? What an evil bastard eh?

Some people need to give their heads a wobble and get over him/it.

It definitely is sad but that's football nowadays, look at Klopp's bizarre comments from last after the refs actually helped them gain a point. Mou has to keep pedalling his version of events otherwise he'll never get another top job - most managers seem to subscribe to the view that if you say something enough, some people will start to believe it. I've seen posters on here arguing FOR Mourinho because he didn't get the CB he wanted last summer, it's like he's brainwashed fans into forgetting he signed Bailly & Lindelof.

I think criticising him for football related matters - for example that interview that you referenced - is completely fine. I was agreeing with the other poster about this becoming a thread for memes of him falling over/non football related stuff. I don't wish him ill but am ecstatic he's out of our club.

Us laughing or not makes no difference. He's not injured- he slipped. We still laugh at Gerrard slips after all these years so what's the problem?

No, I'm not a sad git. And I doubt he is feeling 'misery'. He probably likes that people are saying stuff about him since he loves attention, if you think you are getting one over him with what's happening with Ole then you are mistaken. The best thing you can do when faced with an ego maniac is ignore them, he's no longer manager so it's very easy to ignore him.

Some can't get over telling some people to get over Mourinho.
Don't see anything funny but the people that want to laugh at him are free to do so. Don't know why it should upset anyone.

Bunch of kids. Embarrassing.
If anything the ones getting annoyed by all this are the kids. Yeah he fell over , so what? Even he'll probably see the funny side of it later .

Some of us are checking on this thread for updates on what he's doing next with his career, as the title suggests. Maybe the weirdos that take pleasure in watching him fall over should take it elsewhere. I'd also suggest giving You've Been Framed a watch.

The title says "What next". He went to hockey game and so it happened fell over on the ice. That's what happened next.

I'd probably hazard a guess he has won more at life than everyone in this thread added together.

In fact you could split Jose the winner and Jose the loser into two and even as a loser he has likely won/ earned more than everyone in this thread put together.

I honestly couldn't care less what he does next.

Is it only me who thinks that this pic of Jose spookily looks more like Ole...

i'm not talking about voicing dislike, i'm referring to laughing at petty things like him falling over, to somehow make oneself feel better.

What Klopp did is quite common in football because its a win win situation for them. If they succeed then they'll be treated with kid gloves by the referees next time round. If they fail then that would enforce the manager's siege mentality within the club.

What Mou is doing is, in my opinion, different. He's desperately trying to divert the fact that he had failed big time. Usually top tier managers don't engage themselves in this silliness because they are confident that they would sort things out in their next job + no one likes to employ a manager who would air their dirty laundry if things get wrong. Yet Mou's recent record is far from that of a top tier manager. He got sacked 3 times in a row after losing 3 consecutive dressing rooms while a rookie from Molde had just come in and is doing better then him. This man is desperate to rescue his career at least as a top tier manager.

There are very few sure things in football but one of them is that no matter how good the manager is, time will eventually catch up with him. Tactics will be learnt and countered, the generation gap keeps growing bigger and bigger until the manager ends up in the training ground surrounded by young people who think he's some sort of dinosaur etc. Now some people are able to retire gracefully like SAF or Heynckes did. Others need to leave the football kicking and shouting with people laughing at them. Clough's famous "For all his horses, knighthoods and championships, he hasn't got two of what I've got. And I don't mean balls!" comment towards SAF is a classic example of that. Sacchi vs Allegri spat and Capello vs Conte spats are other examples of what I am saying.

Mou seems heading towards that direction. His silly excuses, his delusions, his trips to nostalgia land, his obsession in remaining in the limelight by showing up as much as possible on the media.....all signs lead to that

I came to the thread because there was a story about him getting a prison sentence, I stayed for the videos of him falling over.

The fact there are people crying because of posters laughing at a 'Special Ones Do the Funniest Things' video is cringeworthy.

Probably is better to just ignore him, but if there's a video of him falling on his arse and embarrassing himself I'm going to watch it and laugh.
I've no issue with people laughing at something that is inherently funny. I laughed too.

I don't believe he tried his best certainly at the end anyway, he just wanted sacked so he could get his money.
