Have to laugh at everyone questioning his mentality. You don't get to where he has got in the game without been mentally strong and ambitious. The reason he will never be Ronaldo or Messi level is because he hasn't got their ability, his shooting is levels below those 2 for example.

Didn't he pull this shite last year as well?

He's not Ronaldo or Messi and he's playing for a team struggling to hold on to 4th place despite his apparent efforts. Does anyone really care about his non announcements about his future? If you want to leave just leave.

So SAF the greatest manager of all time was naive?

Stam, Ruud, Beckham and soon to be Rooney before he retired.
To be fair Ferguson was able to make those decisions because a) he had assembled amazing squads that weren’t so reliant on one player and b) he was a genius and managed to replace said players. Chelsea are not in that position and rely so heavily on Hazard that I don’t think you can apply the same logic.

will be glad to see him leave. Chelsea will miss him a lot and yet he’s not really good enough for what Madrid need. Win win all round.

He is staying. Madrid don't really appear to move heaven and Earth for him and Chelsea will still demand huge fee for him even though he would have only a year left on his contract.

He is just now pulling off this "made a decision" stunt to please the Chelsea supporters who have tolerated a lot of his shite recently.

Hope i am completely wrong though and he fecks off to a different league.

It’s a weird one, he has all the natural talent to consistent be a top 10, top 15 player in the world (which he is), but he’s never applied himself further. I just don’t think he had or has the mentality to be the greatest. Quotes like this show it, for instance;

He’s happy being one of the best rather than the very best. Fair enough, really. He’ll be remembered extremely favourable in history; Belgium’s best ever player, a top 5 Chelsea player, and a phenomenon during his time at Lille.
I don't think it has to do with effort. Everybody cares only about goals and he's not a natural and Uber prolific goalscorer, and never will be.

That being said, family definitely should come first. Balon d'Or is meaningless compared to one's family that's for sure.

He has shown several times he desperately wants to go to Madrid in disgraceful comments a lot of time now. The only reason he still didn't move is Madrid didn't make any move for him yet so he backtracks and stays at Chelsea before throwing another disgraceful comment begging Madrid to come to him.

There's no doubt if Madrid decide to go for him he'll push for the move with all he can. I just don't know why Madrid didn't till now, it's weird.

And we tend to have a warped perspective on all of this. Like Hazard should be ashamed he is only one of the 15 best players in the World. Just imagine how good you have to be one of the 15 best players in the World especially since Football is the most competitive sport.

Boring. When Chelsea aren't doing too well this guy is very boring. I hope he goes to Bayern as I'll bet they will be in for him, and if not maybe Madrid. I just hope he goes somewhere so we'll get to see if he is as good as they always say around November each month. I'm going to be honest and say he either has stagnated at Chelsea or he just isn't as good as some people say. It is always excuses made for him, we need a change of scenery. Will be so anticlimactic and boring if he decides to stay at Chelsea.

I would take him or Kante here if we could straight swap Sanchez or Lukaku though, no question about that.

Telegraph is reporting he has made up his mind to join Real Madrid at the end of the season.
Funny thing is that Real is completely silent on the whole issue.

He doesn't really try or push himself in training.

I think we should avoid another "galactico" signing.

Even if Hazard is available, I think we should let it pass and just let him go away abroad.

We should aim to develop our own youngsters, because Martial and Rashford will be the leading attackers in our team for many years to come.

For that money, we should look at other younger options.

Exactly. How old is he, 30? And where does he play. A free role at 10.... Didn't we have Pogba for that

I don't blame him if he wants Madrid. Chelsea is mis-using him as a false nine and he doesn't like playing in that position. It's hampering his talents where he is best on the left cutting in or going outside with his unique carrying of the ball. He can go to Spain and make the left position his own. The problem is if Real wants him enough

Anyone saying Chelsea should ‘get rid’ because he’s playing such games with the media needs their heads checked. That’s ridiculous emotional logic. The ONLY reasons Chelsea should get rid of Hazard is if he really wants to leave and/or someone offers an astronomical amount of money for him. Him being cryptic with the media as to his intentions is no reason to shop your best player (by a considerable distance).
Its neither ridiculous nor emotional, what he is doing is incredibly disrespectful towards the club and the fans. If this was in December and Madrid were actually sniffing around him, then fine, but saying this now, as the transfer window just closed and we enter a critical phase of the season is moronic. This will 100% without a doubt, affect the dressing room in a negative way

Now dont get me wrong, a Chelsea meltdown would suit me just fine as it improves our chances, but if i supported Chelsea i would be livid over these antics

I’m not saying I would like it, I’m saying that I think it’s ridiculous to therefore conclude ‘I’m so angry, Eden Hazard is now for sale’. That’s a disappointingly emotional decision. Because he said he knows what he wants to do next year? It’s not that deep. He’s your best player, work it out of you can. They showed fight to keep CHO, I’d imagine they would do the same for Eden Hazard.

I hope Chelsea sell Hazard, then they'll have to panic buy and Sanchez is the perfect Chelsea panic buy if ever I saw one. Shades of Veron.

He can say he wants to go to Madrid all he wants but do Madrid really want him? I cant see him being top of their wish list ahead of Neymar/Mbappe and can see him very much being a back up plan for Madrid.

Only thing is unless he repeats Courtouis trick he will still cost a fortune to buy.

Nah, they will rely on Pulisic to fill the void. They already purchased their next big investment.

Or maybe Pulisic is long term option for Willian/Pedro and they use that Hazard money to purchase another wonderkid.

Forgot about him, but you underestimate their ego when it comes to buying players like Sanchez.

When was the last time they bought a washed out "galactico"?

I think the last time was ages ago when they signed Torres from Liverpool. I don't see them making that mistake again. Now they are more interested in buying younger established stars than older ones.

Chelsea would never sign Sanchez on anywhere near the wages he's got and even if he came on the cheap and on subsidized wages I can't see them wanting him. I'm afraid I don't see any club willing to do United a favour with this one.

Veron
Torres
Schevhenko
Probably Higuian

The same reason Liverpool signed Balotelli. Someone has the ego to think they can make him a good player again. Also, if Sarri is there next season, he'll be looking for someone to fill that Mertens role he had at Napoli, especially if Hazard leaves and Kante isn't really working out in that position. In theory, Sanchez is the perfect candidate for that and I'm sure he'd love to get back to London after this stint.

Thing is every signing you've mentioned was made after they performed/have great records in their former teams.

We're the one making that first move for Alexis, now he seems to have flopped, Alexis should be the last on their interest. If they have any interest that is.

Nah, Veron was largely shit, Schevchenko was washed up, Torres had come back from a major injury and hadn't played well for Liverpool at all. Sanchez was amazing for Arsenal and people generally refer to him as a good egg. Chelsea and PSG are our best chance to get rid.

I can only bet on China, Qatar or Saudi clubs to get Sanchez away from us. But I still don't mind him trying for another season though.

China might be a good option but we'd have to give him away due to the new luxury tax they brought in to stop foreign imports.

This guy is such a fecking drama queen, I couldn't give a flying feck what he does next.

He's got 2 or 3 seasons left at the top, one of which he will no doubt down tools in, because he can't motivate himself for more than a few months at a time.

He's wasted half his talent by only performing half of his career.
