Bundealiga is almost when United would have monopoly over the premier league, winning like 3 in a row until the likes of Chelsea and City came up with resources to compete and make the league more competitive. That made it more atractive, bringing more money and distributing it among many teams, that helps to make it more balanced and the cicle continues

money has all to do with it, Bayern has won 13 out of the last 20 bundesligas, competition is non existent and thats one one the reasons the premier league is the most atractive product out there, with different teams being in a position to compete
I meant with the transfer of Jan Fiete Arp, what does money have to do with his transfer? It's not as if Bayern paid an amount no other club would match.

Pretty sure PL's popularity and rich was down to United's market success in the first place, there are likes of Newcastle, Liverpool, Arsenal, Blackburn and Leeds who were so strong at that time in the 90s but they didn't do very well in commercial, United were not rich at the time and didn't have a monopoly over league but they were ahead of everyone in commercial and become so richer quickly as soon as they started to dominate the league. United pre-1992 under SAF has a lot of similar traits to Spurs under Poch, not winning any trophies but playing good football and giving young a chance, not successful as Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton, etc.

It helps that English is one of the most spoken languages in the world which contributed to PL's success. PL is already attractive before Chelsea and City come.

PSG and Juventus would tell us to do one, whilst Real would probably snap our hands off for the £100m we'd likely offer them.

The thought of us even considering Bale would just tell me that we've not learnt from any of our mistakes.
I'm certain United will not go after Bale. They did in 2013 and some say in 2016. He is now too old and washed up and thankfully Madrid's problem.

Is that former 5live pundit Ian 'Wesley Sniejder will definitely join United' McGarry ?
I mean that's why I said "usually", he does however do a Podcast with Duncan Castles and he has also been reporting this story on there. It does seem quite an obvious claim to make though and most Duncan's stories from us probably came from when Mourinho was in charge which has now obviously changed.

To quote one of the most renowned philosophers of our time, the great Wade Wilson - "that's just lazy writing".

Ian McGarry is usually quite reliable.
Bale too old. Neymar too much drama and Dybala isn't as good as the fee required to sign him.

Id rather sign Sancho who might be cheaper than the above three.

SW are quoting some unimportant details in Moises Llorens' story in AS from yesterday.

“Given the interest of Juventus, Bayern Munich and Manchester United, requests were increasingly higher.”

There have been rumours in Italy all season that Juve are looking to cash in. He is due a contract renewal which he would expect to be one of the world's best paid players. Juve can't do that considering they are paying Ronni 40m a season. The rumour is there is a feeling he's always going to move, so sell him on when his value is at its peak. Also, his output has been poor.

That's pretty dreadful return.
Any reason for this ?
He's been below par but on the other hand, the entire team is looking at Ronaldo.

Psg would probably sulk and respond with a 400 million bid for Rashford, Martial and Pogba

I would not go near Neymar, massive drama queen and injury prone. Bale same injury issues and bad season.

Dybala is probably the most probable of the three, if we're even interested at all (provided we aren't stupid enough to waste cash on Bayol), and I'm not even sure if I want him here.

It would make a lot of sense for us, relatively young, very good player. Can he be our Matic replacement?

This would be great. And smart business.
