Cavani now out too, the luck these get is never ending. Feels like every time they have a big game the oppo miss most of their best players. We'll probably get ravaged v Bayern injury wise.
I would rather Man Utd win against the financial cheats, to be honest with you. I cannot stand PSG.
feck that! 27-0 to PSG and I’ll be happy.
The only game I'd ever want United to win is the one they're playing against City soon.

Don't care what PSG do with finances, when it comes to United, I wouldn't want them to win a game on PES/FIFA let alone in real life

Anyone seen that Paddypower ad with Giggsehs bro? Bit awkwardly disturbing aint it. Paddypower really will exploit any possible avenue wont they the pricks.
Yup, pretty shameless outfit. Though in defence of their advertising, I did like one that mentioned ‘the Royal box’.
Paddy Power and their topbantz can get in the bin.

It’s reached ridiculous levels

Redcafe looks like GOT. Conspiracy conspiracy ‘half the goals they’ve scored have been illegal’ they should be 4th/5th/6th like really trying to sound rational to give their lunacy more credence

Just shows you football turns people psychotic in the face of adversity.
I listened to a rant that one of them gave off on the radio the other day. Basically he said everyone should rally behind City to stop us winning the league. Seriously, it's beyond Everton levels of bitterness and desperation.

Kepa and Jorginho. £125m.
Kepa is dreadful. He's not even Mignolet level. Never seen him make a save beyond a regulation one, and he misses a lot of those.
Jorginho has been found out too. Stick one guy on him and not only does he disappear, the whole system collapses.
I'm sure when they beat Malmo 8-0 on thursday night everything will be fine again
Wonder if Carragher still thinks Hazard is the league's best player.
I wonder if everyone else still thinks Kante is the league's best player.

Couldn't trap a bag of cement yesterday.

He hasn't played one way. His tactics have changed to counter the opposition. Most games we play 4321 to fit in Shaqiri, which then reverts to defensive 4-5-1 when we lose the ball.

I remember one game where Phil Couthino played deep midfield and pinged balls up to Sturridge up top in the 2016/2017 season.

I would not call it tactical genius, though. His stubbornness means that he believes in his tactics. if he kept changing it, the players might lose confidence in his ability. It has worked for him.

They were calling Unai a tactical genius earlier in the season! Not so sure, now, eh? :D

Only up to a point. Just those pesky FINAL stages it seems to break down.

What’s going on folks, this is my first post today but I’ve been browsing as a guest for 15 years. I just want to say thank you for having me. This thread is one of my favourites on redcafe, and I wondered why it has only appeared periodically on the main page this season. Let’s have a healthy discussion on here and May our infinite rivalry continues. And both teams stay relevant for title contention, it feels lonely at the top competing with a non rival.
15 years a lurker?

I would like to point out they did not coin the term "toilet" in describing a rival's stadium. We were calling, on a Red Sox forum, Yankee Stadium "The Toilet" at least 14 years ago. We also referred to it as the Stadio Fascista" (I love that one).

Their Spurs thread, already posted some today, this made me laugh

Gutted. I camambert it.

Spurs fans, I guess you'll have to gruyere own
fecking travesty.

There’s always room for the little baby cheeses
Edam right!
Who gives a edam!
It's just on hold until they get the Filetta alarm sorted out.
If they don't end up putting it in it will have really curd my enthusiasm for the whole thing
Sorry, rennet past me again...
Somebody has mished up over this.
I wonder what Mauricio Pecorino had to say about this?
He says it's a palamity.
and my favorite
It's Emmentally, my dear Watson

Primed for Mourinho to come back till the end of the season and to put a brake on our title challenge, yet again. c*nt.
Toxic atmosphere at that club clearly . You think with ‘JT’ and ‘Lamps’ etc gone the player power might have Been a thing of the past but it’s clearly in their culture
Arsenal
400k a week for Ramsey
There must be another Aaron Ramsey we don't know about. A wonderkid from that weird part of Brazil where everyone speaks Welsh.
Emre Can, Aaron Ramsay...who will they snap up next on a free transfer and pay obscene wages to? Alberto Moreno? Adam Lallana?
Us
Looks like Ole might be getting the job full time.
They should make it quick, I can't see them winning more than one of their next eight games (seven if the one against City is postponed).
I know they have some tough games, but that seems a little optimistic!
City
They were a perennially relegated cannon fodder nothing club who won the dirty oil lottery, out of the pure luck of having "Manchester" in their name, and they're bothered about the supposed luck of others. If, like Everton, they hadn't had the name of their city in their club title, they'd be in league 1 right now. Instead they're in the CL and fighting for a league title, just because their name was easily marketable overseas due to their city rivals having a huge brand. Now that's luck.
10 years ago they were no marks. Now they're moaning their heads off because we wont let them just stroll their way to another title and are actually making their billion dollar side earn their fecking paychecks
This year, these will probably be the best team ever to finish second in the Premier League era. My heart goes out to the poor darlings.
Did anyone see that sickhead Guardiola’s jumper in the Chelsea press conference? What a dickhead.
He is a football manager. He should be professional and stop dressing like a c*nt. It annoys me.
You're lucky as it is on other sites for a bargain £1,215
Still don't understand how someone can 'dress' like a c*nt hahaha
Act like a c*nt, yes maybe...but dress like one?!

Also don't know why quite a few of our fanbase have such extreme anger towards Pep.
He is pretty harmless. Has respect for Klopp and LFC.

Would be different if we were talking about Ferguson or Warnock or Allardyce etc.
Personally think that cardi looks comfortable as hell. I'd try find out where he got it but it probably cost hundreds of dollars.
He's usually had a few more injuries over the course of a season than he has so far this year. Something to keep an eye on.
Pep’s ‘supplements’
Have these embarrassing dickheads actually got any songs about their own team?

WTF is wrong with that lot?:
Liverpool v Bayern preview

Revenge won’t be near the front of his mind, and even Bayern Munich fans all seem to love our Jurgen Norbert.
Dortmund lead the way still, looking for their first title since our beloved Jurgen so majestically gegenpressed the Bayern dominance to pieces.
...a late Arjen Robben goal saw his Dortmund side who’d won the hearts of everyone in football come up just short.

Oh my, look who we've got next in the league. If we win then that's them almost certainly out of top place in the league on points as well as goal difference. Imagine the meltdown if it ends 1-0 from a 97th minute penalty due to a questionable handball decision.
3 minutes of time added on, yet the clock reads 95:30 and the score is 0-0. Pogba plays an aerial pass over the top to Lingard who is miles offside. Lingard tries a first time volley, but ends up hitting the ball against his hand. After hitting his hand, it bounces unexpectedly and beats Alisson, trickling past him as he desperately claws to try and reach it, but to no avail.

Lingard dashes off and moonwalks in front of the Kop. Pep is caught on camera in the crowd wanking off, which becomes immortalized in one of those famous Liverpool gifs. In the post match analysis Paul Ince says that he could have masterminded that victory.

Teams simply can't cope with us at Anfield, I often ponder about what we would have done to Real Madrid if we drew them in the semis instead last year, I usually imagine Ronaldo crying about it.

This has to be one of my favourite RAWK quotes. What a sad little life this person lives.

Yes, this has to happen now. The meltdown will be tremendous, probably enough to have melted Tottenham's cheese room. Maybe Levy was on to something...

Just took a quick look there.

They are more concerned about who will be the ref rather than our form.

They have becoming arrogant, them scousers.

They played well against Chelsea tonight and I fully expect them to use similar tactics against us. They’ll target Salah like they did Hazard tonight. Every time he gets the ball they’ll pull or foul him. They’ll commit lots of minor fouls to break up our rhythm and will defend in numbers. They’ll try counter attacking quickly when they get the ball especially down our right. Expect them to con the ref into giving us yellows.

I want to see POP analysis or prediction against us (if he is still around)

Also if they lose to us it will probably be explained as some elaborate scheme they did to finally put the nail in the coffin for us and give Ole the job.

On what basis does de Gea shade it over Alisson?

Alisson has more clean sheets, better defence in front of him admittedly. His save percentage is higher. He is a lot more capable than de Gea with the ball at his feet.

Not really sure what de Gea does better than Alisson. He makes a lot of camera saves and is good at stopping shots that are directly at him, as any keeper should do. That Spurs game people harp on about, were there any shots that weren't right down his throat?
So Dave only does camera saves. Deluded bunch

how is pogba man of the match?
This fecking hobbit needs Klopping on Sunday.
Only a matter of time before this all falls apart. He's got them playing Allardyce/Hodgson type football with better players, it's completely unsustainable
Made up with the Chelsea result, cos we're gonna beat them comfortably now. More worried about the Everton game as they're due a result and it would be the worst possible time
