That's a blow. God bless Mickey Thomas. A real crowd favourite back in the late 70s.
Hope everything turns out well in his battle against this illness.

Still remember his stunning goal for wrexham against Arsenal in the early 90s when he was something like 38.

Not sure Mickey T was ever a crowd favourite, certainly not at Old Trafford anyway because a lot of fans never took to him because he replaced Gordon Hill on the left-wing who was, and he was more of a workhorse than entertainer.

Anyhow, hang in there Mickey lad, you can beat this
