He didn't fit here at ot, didn't want to come, didn't like it here, and practically didn't perform . He was as ole would say not a Utd player. Just ignore him really. Won't be remembered at Utd so who cares.

We all love United
Pity he didn't succeed here because he is really a very good footballer. Would probably have thrive under OGS on the right wing of ours

Lot of respect my arse.
Of course not, he would have gave more details if it was the case.

He was never a part of our club, he should be treated as such. Indifference. He can feck off.

I remember everyone talking about his terrible first season and I kept checking the stats to see him with second amount of assists in the league.
Hes a good Player. It shows that he could get that number of assits despite not liking managrr and not wanting to be at the club. But total indifference now. We forgot he even played for us.

This.

This thread has made me think about what itll be like if and when Mourinho comes back to play against us. Now that will be interesting.
Personally, I’d clap Jose. I wasn’t his biggest fam but you can’t discredit what he won for us.

Just play him off the park, don’t give him a sniff. Booing ex players sounds pathetic ala Arsenal fans booing Alexis a few weeks ago. We’re better than that, this guy is an irrelevance.

Is this a thing? Wasn't here long enough for us to give a crap surely? I feel more when Ben Foster or Frazier Campbell play against us.

Kind of hard to dislike him personally. Don't like him either but he had a pretty mixed season with us to say the least.

I'll just remember that it was his chipped through ball to Mata at Juanfield.

There were some glimpses of his class in his early games for us.In my opinion if you are going to invest 50+ million in a player the onus is on you to do your due diligence and ensure there’s not going to be problems.

I really really hope we won't boo him - That's just not the United way.
He came to United and wanted to be part of the rebuild after Moyes and unfortunately it just did't work out for him under LVG.
And really, I'm glad he left - don't think we would have gotten Martial if Di Maria hadn't left.

He was looking for a way out the moment he arrived and was only here because PSG had a transfer embargo also nobody else was prepared to pay his massive salary.

The minuite PSG came knocking he never even bothered to show for pre season.

How utds board ever sanctioned a move for a player that was dragged out of Madrid kicking and screaming and only came here because PSG couldn't get him that summer(and the moment they could he would be looking for a way to go there)is beyond me.

If fans could read his body language on the first presser the club should have seen this comming a mile off.

Not usually for booing ex players but Ince, Tevez, Heinze and Di Maria all deserves it.

I don't even see him as an ex player, he certainly never played for us in the broader sense of the word, I'm without doubt going to boo his every touch.

He didn't apply himself at United and didn't have the mentality to fight for his place when things weren't going his way. I suspect he'll get booed off the park tonight and do not care one bit..

As others said, he has a weak mentality. Boo him not just for his betrayal, but to disorient him as maybe that will affect his performance. If the latter happens, the crowd will literally be the 12th man.

Don't feel the hatred for him that everyone else does.

We spend a record fee on him. We fannied him around in several different positions, under a complete clown of a manager. He was class for a short spell, got increasing fed up with LvG and then his house got robbed and he wanted out asap.

I think in our own working lives in similar situations we'd all probably want too leave.

I'm not even going to the game so it's not like my opinion matters, but it's far removed from the likes of Tevez and Heinze. It's more just a move that didn't work out, we got our money back and him leaving was best for all parties.

Agreed. Not sure he's the type to stand up and be counted when the going get's tough, but then again he's played plenty of hostile atmospheres before.

Let's hope he's nervous about coming back.

Booing a player means you're hurt that they left. He was shite for us so doesn't warrant boos.

We should just chant "Whooooo are you? Who, who?" by The Who instead of booing him. Not that he'd understand a word of it, the thick twat.

Meh. The crowd booing a player is fine but you can hardly then complain about said player giving a bit of lip back. Throwing stuff at him is braindead.
