It's racism.

Some people and some media want to knock down successful young black men.
How is it racism? Mbappe doesn't get it, none of the Liverpool players get it and neither did Evra and he was as flamboyant as it gets. So, either you're an excellent psychic or just full of it.

Fair enough, but a truer observation would be stats on a per minutes basis.

I think they were neck to neck last season stats wise, however De Bruyne's performances were a tier above Pogba's. Pogba's productivity has gone up a bit but I've been way more impressed by his performances on the pitch recently, which for me is the ultimate test when comparing 2 players.
Since last season
Pogba - 35 G+A in 4083 mins - 116 mins per G+A
KdB - 25 G+A in 3621 mins - 144 mins per G+A

What I find interesting about Pogba is this reputation he has as an attention seeker, but he seems a pretty private person for a superstar footballer. You won’t see many pictures off his Mrs about, I didn’t even realise he had one until I heard he was expecting a child. His new born baby is a mystery. He dealt with the death of his father fairly privately. In contrast to players like Rooney,Beckham etc who were always in the papers for off the field things. Their partners and children were exposed in the media too.
I’ve also noticed he hasn’t had a special trim or any colour in his hair for months too. Not that I was ever bothered if he did I do wonder if he wants to be perceived as more focused and mature.
His transfer fee alone puts him on a pedestal. The way he uses social media obviously helps too. He’s a flamboyant, outgoing bloke who happens to be one of the most expensive (and talented) footballers around. Surely it’s obvious why he’s seen as someone who enjoys the limelight?

Not that there’s anything wrong with that. If he’s comfortable with all the attention then what’s the problem?

Pogba is a big game player, we'll win 3-1 and he'll get a goal and assist

My point still stands regarding their performance levels

If you think Pogba's performances merited consideration for POTY last season then fair enough. This season... He's only done it for half the season.

De Bruyne after Christmas didn’t play brilliantly for a while tbh. His stats were all fairly early doors

Needs to stop that step across the player tackle/ball-control thing.

Pogba is doing that move in every single game, and it's always a freekick against him. Not yellow, though.

They marked him out of the game. First foul was never a yellow but hard to complain for the second.

Had an absolute nightmare of a night that.

Got completely man marked out of the game before being sent off. PSG got into his head and led him out of the entire match and now second leg too, throwing our momentum along it.

Our lack of a controlling midfielder showed. Pogba could not get into the game at all and he shouldn't be expected to control the game as well. Need someone like Kroos or Verrati next to him. This game showed it.

Bollocks he was man-marked by Marquinhos and sometimes there was more then one on him. PSG knew that he is our only true world class outfield player and Tuchel planned for it. Such a lazy comment.

Their gameplan was to take him out of the game and they did a good job but it was ridiculous he was the only player sent off tonight.

Think he was in first half. But the second yellow? Wtf? If the ref had that level all the time there would have 2-3 more reds.

Did more then Verrati all game, who pretty much got the ball and passes it to better attacking players all game long. Pogba was playing by himself for most of that game, we'll see in the return leg how dreadful we look without him

As I predicted stop Pogba, you'll stop United.
Everything positive goes through him.Lesson the burden on him and finally bring in quality. Which we likely wont do with our current ownership.

I won't criticise him too much, there's no point since it's pretty much usual stuff with Pogba in big games, I just hope people who call him world class, best midfielder/player in the world and crap like that have realised there are actually other players in the world who perform better than him when it matters, so watching some non United gsmes will do them no harm.

Yet another big game, and he flops again. Though the red card was ridiculous.
Did you even watch the game. Tuchel is smart he knows he everything goes through Paul. Marquinhos who is as athletic as him marked him and also got help from his team mates. Sometimes he had three people on him
