Ref probably thought he interfered with the play.
Ref was correct to rule that offside in my opinion. Götze blocked the defender a bit and arguably hindered him in clearing that ball properly instead of hitting Sancho.

Not that it needs any additional pointing out but Sancho is on fire, unreal player.

Big game for Bayern tonight now. With them still to play Dortmund in Munich they'll surely fancy winning it from here.

For feck’s sake, are they all absolutely mad???? You cannot lose from 3-0 advantage if you want to win the league.

Bayern can easily still win the league at this point. Dortmund with just 2 points from 2 games just isn’t enough.

Tonight Schalke have a real lose-lose-situation ahead of them!
Should they win, they give their arch rivals a massive chance to win the title.
Should they lose, the relegation zone is slowly creeping up on them again.

Dortmund first threw away a lead 3 times against Bremen and got out in the DFB Cup and now this against Hoffenheim. Both at home! Feck, I hope this doesn't derail their title bid :(

This is a pretty good game. Great clearance & a great save a few moments later keep it 2-1.

Am I the only one who thinks Gnabry is a better player than Coman? The latter has zero goals zero assists in Bundesliga this season:houllier:

Coman needs to slow down and pick better passes. He is a bit like Costa. Beating his man at will and then bombing useless crosses or misreading the movements of his teammates.
Gnabry has a higher floor, Coman the higher ceiling.

There are still 13 games left to play but we start seeing sizable gaps in the Bundesliga table, setting up clear favorites for the most coveted spots in the league.

Championship:
Dortmund still has 5 points (and better goal difference) over Bayern but that last draw really hurts them, especially because it was so unnecessary. It still feels like Munich will breeze by right before the finish line but this year's Bundesliga winner might be crowned at the very end of the season which is something we haven't seen in a long time. Mönchengladbach is still close but they're not a serious contender.

Remaining Champions League spots:
Mönchengladbach has 42 points, Leipzig has 38 of them while no other team has more than 33 points. Both feel like a safe bet for those CL spots...if it wasn't for Leverkusen going on a run with their new coach. I'm not really sold on Gladbach but they should collect enough points along the way to qualify. Leipzig also feels consistent enough to grab that 4th spot.

Euro League:
Quite possibly the most exciting challenge as 6 teams seem to battle for those 2-3 unloved EL spots. Frankfurt (33 points), Leverkusen (33), Wolfsburg (32), Hertha (31), Hoffenheim (30) and Bremen (30) have all been exciting to watch at times while displaying flaws that keep them from reaching higher ground. They're all so unpredictable so it's hard to tell who will prevail.

Relegation:
Don't look now but relegation favorite Düsseldorf is 10 points ahead of the dreaded 16th spot. They should be able to secure their place in the league if they don't collapse entirely. It seems to come down to a battle between Nürnberg (12 points), Hannover (14), Stuttgart (15) and Augsburg (18). My money's on Hannover and Nürnberg getting relegated and Augsburg reaching the playoffs against Köln, Union or whoever might finish in 3rd place in the 2. Bundesliga.

Do you expect any team to gain/lose a lot of ground before the season ends?

A question for the Dortmund supporters (or anybody who has seen him more than 3 times): is Hakimi always this shite at defending?

Yes, but he's usually excellent at attacking

He's the perfect successor for Marcelo:drool:

Dortmund played on the front foot and defensively compact for most of the season. He was rarely tested the way he was now. Didn't look good.

I obviously don't watch much Bundesliga ;) Do you think she's a good referee?
If i remember correctly until now she didnt make any big faults which were discussed and/or criticised. Should have been taken from the 2.liga to the 1.Liga earlier, cause she is good, which was a point in the big discussion about the bad dfb referee amigo system by Manuel Gräfe.

Cheers! Perhaps get more women into the top leagues in the coming years.

Watching the Bayern-Augsburg game tonight, the way Bayern are so frail and disorganised at the back, I don't think it will matter that Liverpool have defensive concerns for the tie, their front three could have a field day against that defence. Suler looks so ill at ease under pressure and Hummels has no pace whatsoever.

If Dortmund don't win on monday Bayern are gonna overtake them easily at the end of the season.

Kimmich is just a monstre though. Him and Alba are the 2 best full backs in the world.

Why didnt Kovac take Coman out

Without Coman we stand no chance at all and should we lose massively vs Liverpool, I will want Kovac sacked immediately

Liverpool will score a lot of goals. Either way, they will progress. Bayern are not solid this season

Very harsh penalty against Schalke, VAR should review it

I am really impressed how quickly Tyler Adams has acclimated to the Bundesliga. It is a big step up from the MLS. The US is producing Footballers now.
