If it is true that he is more of a creative winger than a goalscorer (I haven't seen much of him) then I would pay up for Sancho. I think we need a creator as Rashford and Martial are both goalscorers and it will give us creativity beside Pogba.

There was that Russian lad, Ignatov, we were linked with under Mourinho, but other than the list above, I can't see man other options.

Does a Nani style winger (when played on the right) of actual quality exist? Or are they all wide playmakers like Hazard or wide forwards like Salah?

What do you men by Nani style? Like a mixture between a playmaking winger and a goalscoring winger, instead of one or the other?

Have a feeling, already, that this will be the one position that is not strengthened this summer.

Me too I can just see us maybe getting a midfielder and a CB and leaving it there.

I still think people are sleeping on Malcom personally just because he hasn't done so well at Barca maybe he needs a change and can show his true ability

I mean a more traditional winger who is focused more on dribbling, crossing and staying reasonably wide than finding through balls and constantly cutting in.

Obviously goals and through balls are always good but are there any who mainly do the above.

I voted Zaha, as good as Sancho is... 100 million for a player who is playing his first full season, perhaps we give him one more in Germany, to make sure he lives up to the hype.

Zaha would come back with a point to prove , can play anywhere across the front 3 and have proved to score goals and get assists in the premiership.

Sancho
Dybala

both first choice but both possibly not realistically gettable?

Douglas Costa
Pépé from the (what I deem) gettable list.

Haven’t seen enough of Chiesa tbh.

edit: Dybala not on the list (yet) :D

No I’m just tight with other people’s money. He’s a quality player who will be a star.

Just think we need other positions as much, and that is a huge outlay.

Would Palace really sell us Zaha for much cheaper? I can’t recall, but wasn’t Spurs quoted a ridiculous sum for Zaha?

I think Sancho is more realistic than Dybala. Yes he will cost a lot but Dortmund are a selling club so it's not out of the realm of possibility

Not sure they could turn down 50-60 especially if they go down.

There was always talk of a buy back clause but not sure if that was true.

All Spurs money is in the new stadium so I think they might have briefed the press that it was a ridiculous amount to save face for not having the money available at the time.

Sancho is ideally suited for the kind of fluid attack Ole is using very successfully at Man Utd. He and Greenwood will be great additions, giving Ole quality and depth in his attack when combined with Pogba, Rashford, and Martial.

Sancho as I’m hoping we move to the diamond more permanently and he can play either the front 2 or #10
