An even worse case scenario than either is Liverpool winning the PL and City the CL. So get picking.
I guess City is better as they are a non entity more or less.
But it´s still just a horror scenario either eay.

Fa cup- United
PL- Spurs
CL- Atletico

I hope for that. Better than think about fecking Liverpool winning 19th title or Guardiola winning CL

If city wins the quadruple, I'll be annoyed and bitter for weeks if not months before moving on but if the scousers win the league, i'll take a rocket and catapult myself into obstricrity.

I think I know the one I'd rather experience.

We just need to focus on ourselves, if we play like we can do and win the FA cup then city can't win the quadruple.
As for Liverpool winning the league, I'd hate it but there again, we took two points off them the other day so anything that happens beyond here is out of our hands.

Why do so many people keep feeling the need to ask this... A true United fan should surely know this isn't even a valid question.

feck Liverpool

I don't think that's particularly fair for younger United fans that haven't seen Liverpool win much of anything. I'm sure they will appreciate the history of the rivalry but seeing them win the league might be even more novel than Leicester or Arsenal winning it ;)

If you are too young to have seen Liverpool win the league you are very lucky , I dread the day when they do it as their fans are the feckin worst .
I have got a good few mates who are City fans and they are nowhere near the level of Liverpool fans as far as bellendedness . So no , I don`t want to see the scousers ever win anything .

I'd rather see City win the World Cup than see Liverpool win a coin toss.

The choice between having your bollocks nailed to the table or stapled to it.

But Citeh won't win the CL and IF they did, the press would have forgotten about it by the end of May.

But in a summer without an International tournament, if the dippers win the league the press w##kfest will go on until Christmas. And yesterday's disrespect of the tribute to Eric Harrison reminds me why I detest Liverpool FC.

God not so long ago I would easily have said city quad, I am finding them way more annoying than Liverpool these days, but it's still a city quad, I have Liverpool fans all around me where I am, hardly ever see a city fan, for that reason city quad, yes I have repeated that 3 times.

I'd rather suck it up and accept the Liverpool title than see ours greatest club achievement eclipsed.

The treble was unique, if they were to win the lot you'd never hear the end of it.

Where the grass is greener.
Liverpool winning the league is so much worse, so simple.

City should be winning the quad, they've spent so much money its the least they can do. It'll also be hollow because we all know how they've managed to do it.

neither.

City title winners and United FA Cup winners is the best outcome.

Having the most league titles is our biggest achievement. That could be gone next year. Liverpool only need two titles to catch up.

I would easily prefer a City octuple or whatever it is.

Can you imagine having to deal with thousands of idiots sounding like Steve McManaman banging on about their amazing title win and that anything previous never mattered?
They've been banging on about how we have a small mentality now because we celebrated a draw against them yesterday! I for one expect nothing but 3 points from them morons and anything less is a disaster.

I've said it in another comment before, they haven't shut up since last May over Sergio Ramous, imagine if they actually won the title? I'd rather the world just end...

Either is awful, but I'd personally rather a one off Liverpool title win than everyone going on about City beating the Treble forever more.

Hopefully neither happen.

Let me think (but not for too long)

City Quad: Would better our Treble BUT Liverpool came within a whisker of doing the Treble themselves of course back in 1977 (we stopped them, tee hee) and they also achieved a Treble of sorts in 1984? I think, winning the League Cup instead of the FA. So, it is likely at some point in the future the Treble may be at least equaled, thus losing its uniqueness. So, whilst being very proud of it, I don’t think it’s immortal. Plus, as everyone says, given the ££££ they have chucked at the Club, it’s the least City should do.

Liverpool title: Ugh. If you lived through the ‘70s & 80s you just know without any further explanation. feck that.

Is this even a question wtf? OP's location says it all. I am not even from Manchester but I grow up hating the Dippers and I'm well aware of the massive rivalry between United and Liverpool. I'd even take us missing out on top 4 if this means Liverpool won't win the league.

a) Little brother winning 4 trophies
b) Enemy winning the PL for the first time ever

How is this even a question?
Little brother like ivar the boneless or ramsay snow
