Don’t think we’ll see him play many more games in a Utd shirt now, unless there are lots of injuries. The last two games Dalot has been much more of an attacking threat.

One way or another he surely must go in the summer, probably in a very heavily subsidised deal.

He maybe can play as a false 9, but every where else, he is just not good enough. He has lost his pace, and that is a big problem. He has never been a brilliant passer, and generally been a sloppy player, but had moments of brilliance in him. Niw he has lost that, and he is just not worth it.

He would be the first that I would look to offload.

Such a shame that he isnt performing. Cant be confidence surely? You dont just turn into a bad player ...must be a mental thing or maybe he just doesnt want to be here.

Not sure he is suited as a wide player any longer.
Would rather see him inside in a free role if given another chance.

Genuinely gutted in the realisation over the last few weeks that he is absolutely done and we will never see that truly world class player again. Think in my heart of hearts I've known it for awhile but its hard to accept.

Fraud of a player. He is the elephant in the room. The game changed for us when he went off.

Our wage bill will get blown out of proportion if we keep him for more than this summer as players will refer to his wages as a reference to get more money when we sit down to renew contracts (degea's doing that already). Alexis needs to leave. Simple as.

Taking the next corner instead of Jones!
Honestly, I think he took himself off today … it makes me feel better that, if that's true, then he's not actually injured … but he either plays and gives us everything or he never plays again! For all the shit Lukaku gets Ole has him firing again!

Tragic signing. At this point he needs a miracle to become even a decent player again. He's done, get rid in the summer and don't look back.

Dalot practically ended his United career today. You can't be earning his sort of salary and then get outperformed as a winger by a teenage full back.

Serious question. If all our players are fit does he even make the bench?

This guy is done. He's getting injured often now as well which is the final straw in a move to a retirement league.

Has to go in the summer, even if it's on a free. He's a huge problem, not only is his play poor but he seems to have an effect on the whole team. We looked so much better when he went off and that's so damning.

He got his chance and blew it, shouldn't play anymore, give a young player their chance instead, they won't do worse than him.

Can we just pay his wages and ask him to watch matches in the stand. He offers absolutely nothing to this team and if anything harms us with his presence on the pitch.

Enough is enough from me. I hope I won't see him again next season. We looked far better after he was out. Shitty performance.

This is not looking good. I thought that now he will make impact but nothing. And now he is even injured.

Is Alexis hiding? Shades of Luca Lentini. I don't think he can handle the shirt or the weight of expectation. Looks damaged.

No, he is done, he looked done in his last season at Arsenal, but people wanted to blame it on him giving up on Arsenal.

He is done. And he looked like he was happy to be going off. Didn’t really look like he wanted to be on the pitch today.

To be fair looking at his career. He had great spells at Udinese and Arsenal. But he always looked like the odd one out technically at Barca even with Pedro around. He definitely isn’t the player he was few years ago. But I don’t think he has the mentality also to play for a big club too.

Fraud is such a dumb expression - George Weah's nephew was a fraud. Sanchez is just on the downside of his career.

Takes over di Maria as the most disappointed I've been in a signing.

Funnily enough, that was a big debate on who got the better player between us and Arsenal. I thought we did, but Alexis turned out so much better, then we got him and he flopped here, too. Sad.

Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time
I found it really strange when he was down injured and our players didn't put the ball out of play. Perhaps the rumours of him not getting along with the team are true?
I've never really given those rumours any credence before (media love a good beat-up), but that situation today made me think there's a fair chance it's true.

It's difficult to decide who was worse for us, him or Falcao?
Average performance would be about the same, but Sanchez actually had a few fairly good matches for us when he first joined which is better than Falcao ever did.

I thought the Sanchez moment was more damning than Kepagate. 1-0 down at home with momentum going forward and he just lays there with a knock or a pull. His teammates gave him the finger and just kept the ball, whilst expecting him to get up or get off the pitch. He did neither and was a disgrace to the shirt. His teammates think so little of him that they gave zero credence towards him being in real pain.

His United career today died. I’d be amazed to see it come back from here. He was made to look a complete twat.
That's harsh if he is actually injured. Knee injuries aren't exactly something that you want to mess around with and it's not wrong of him to want the medical staff to help him out a bit. I know he didn't look to be in a huge amount of pain, but I think we should give him the benefit of the doubt. Despite all the negatives we've had with him, he does try hard and doesn't seem the type to just give up and stop trying.

Our record with bringing in mature players is not too good.
Henrik Larsson - resounding success under SAF
Falcao - Flop
Schweinsteiger - Flop
Ibrahimovitch - Success under Mourinho until he got injured.
Alexis Sanchez - complete resounding Flop.

We need to be aware buying these mature players is very hit or miss (mostly miss for us). Any contracts to them have to have an out in case things don’t work out. Based on our record, I wouldn’t even want to see Christiano Ronaldo or Messi coming to our club. We need to play fast paced attacking football.

Note a lot of these players had injury problems before or after we bought them.

Ibrahimovic was a good signing but looked shot when he got injured.

There’s no harm in signing experienced players if they can remain injury free and we don’t shoe horn them in the team because of their name.

What we can’t do is offer £350k or £400k a week on five year contracts to experienced players, unless we have an out written into the contract - for example pay 1 years wage to terminate contract.

Will go down as another Di Maria. Incredibly talented player that won't work in our team because we have no attacking structure. Thought he was the best player on the pitch on the first half. Only one who looked halfway dangerous. Shame people have their agenda and don't actually watch the game from an unbiased viewpoint.

Hope its not his acl, but sad all the same how his time at United has gone and this would surely signal the end (though with the change of him staying til next January/summer 2020 because of the recovery).

Honestly after the massive hype I had about him during his transfer saga and how it turned out to be, I'm not sure I'll ever get hyped again for any signing. I'll always remember this as a sucker punch to any transfer muppets. :nervous:

It's all very annoying, I thought we pulled off a great transfer and brought in a player who can win us games like this, and someone who's worthy of the 7 shirt but has been nothing short of awful.
