Need Higuaín to tear it up here and justify picking him over Vardy.

Yes. I can't make this any clearer. Free hit allows you to do what the feck you want all gw. At the end of the gw your team will reset to the team you had at the deadline of the gw before. You will only have 1 FT for the gw after the Free Hit.
Let's say I make 2 transfers and save my team. Then I use the FH. Would I still retain these 2 new players after the GW is over? (Need to plan for GW33)

I was happy to see Chelsea get beat, but I’ll take the Hazard goal (10 points including bonus) as it also ruins the Wolves clean sheet and I don’t have a Wolves defender :)

Are you a united fan? Surely you would rather a blank?
Would have liked a 3-4 thriller with a Higuain hatrick and four Hazard own goals if I could choose.

But yeah in terms of what you were getting at it’s a daft question imo. I think most people can separate fantasy football from real football and picking Aubameyang, Salah, Kane or Hazard doesn’t make you a bad fan. No one wants three players from Fulham, Burnley and Cardiff. :nono:

It’s not a daft question at all. You hoped that Higuain scored loads today before they even started even if I had him in my team I’d have hoped he got sent off in the first minute for dissent or something.

I am properly good at fantasy football for the first two thirds of the season and properly shit at it for the final third. It can't be coincidence because it's the same thing for the last 4 or 5 seasons now. I just hit a stage towards the end of February/start of March where every call I make is the exact opposite to what would've scored points.

My bench has outscored my midfield and attack combined for the last 3 weeks running.

Do you build up team value in the first two thirds of the season? Helps a lot in that run-in...

Also, don't have such a good bench!

I do but I always end up undoing all that good work with a couple of silly gambles - usually while drunk over Christmas.

Newbies 15/16 FPL Champion.
60(-4) Delighted to have got away from this gw with a tiny red arrow. Hazard and Mane did the business today and I jumped up in rank from last night(6.5k), which was a result considering my captain had played(Aguero).

All my chips left and 4960 OR. This will be my team for next week, injuries permitting. I am going the FH 32 WC 34 BB 35 route.

Fabianski
Digne Robertson Rice
McNeil Hazard Mane Salah
Rondon Vardy Wilson

Undecided on captain

Might be into top 1k :nervous:

Hopefully stay in the mix for the redcafe league title race :keano: Used my 2nd wildcard very early though, so can't play around with the team too much for the DGWs :(

I'm surprised you're doing that well without having Jiminez earlier!
I only got him a month ago, but have just sold him so I can field a full XI for gameweeks 31 and 33.

I had been doing well prior to Jiménez with the Aguero/Rashford upfront and then spending good money on 5 midfielders for a majority of this season. But dumped rashford for jiminez a month ago but I imagine rashford will find his form again soon.

The scrap for the title and Top 4 looks like it's going to go the full distance this season which is excellent for FPL. Likewise with that final relegation spot if Cardiff can stay in touch a while longer. Still favour them going down with games against Chelsea, City, Liverpool and United though.

Gone early and got Hazard+Higuain+Wilson.. Everton looked horrible in defence against Newcastle.. tough call whether to captain Mane (Fulham away) or Hazard (Everton away)

Really average game week, and I was entertaining ideas of skimping through with 9-10 any old players playing this week.
But the smart money has to be on doing the freehit really doesn't it?

I don't have any of Mane, Vardy, Hazard, Higuaín, Wilson for starters.

Also, if it was done on transfers/hits, I'd have to get rid of Sterling, when he's got Fulham away next. That would be dangerous.

I take it most people are free hitting this week? If I don't I'll only have about 3 starters :wenger:

There's almost too much choice...currently have:
Fabianski
Robertson/TAA Rice D.Luiz
Fraser Salah Mane F.Anderson
Wilson Higuain Vardy

Boruc Azpilicueta Pereira McNeil

With still 3m in the bank. Lucky dip between Robertson or TAA as need to fill the other two pool slots with Salah & Mane. Really should get Hazard in there, but Fraser & Felipe Anderson both have easy looking home games, and don't want to drop any of the front 3. Ideally would play a good old fashioned 2-5-3 and drop the Chelsea defender/shame can't use bench boost with the free hit as would be the ideal opportunity.

I've got a full 11 so need need to free hit. Ideally I'd like Hazard and Wilson but I'll get by with what I have then sex up my team with a dgw free hit instead. Assume everyone will be captaining Salah this week anyway and those that haven't planned will suffer so expecting a low average.

Boruc (Foster)
Rudiger / Pereira / Digne / Robertson (Bednarek)
Salah / Mane / Anderson / Brooks (Pogba)
Barnes / Vardy (Aguero)
