How anyone can dare to criticise Pogba after the last few months he's had are beyond me. After what he's been through under Mourinho, they should be worshipping at his feet. We're extremely lucky to have him.

Who do these numpties expect us to replace him with if he leaves?

Tell me another player in the world with the technical + physical qualities he possesses? I'll wait...

See how Pjanic played yesterday, thats how a midfielder should play.
Agree with whoever said hes a better midfielder.
This makes no sense. They do not perform the same roles so your point is redundant. How is Pjanic an attacking midfielder? Please compare Pogba to other attacking midfielders.

Well the position he plays is not as an "am" is it?
He plays as a cm so he should be compared to other cms.

Incredible? I wouldn’t call his better performances incredible, they were just good decent performances that one would expect from a player costing and earning as much as he does.
He is a showman of the highest order and when things don’t go right for him then he quickly loses all sense of responsibility and just becomes a petulant little fecker.
We really should be looking to offload him and get a in a player who can play for 90 minutes in the vast majority of games without fecking about.
His penalty technique is a prime example of “Look at MEEEEE”.
hating your best player to such an extent is very surreal. but hey at least we know yourr true colours and you didn't hide anything from us. I don't like people who keep their hatred hidden.

When has he done it? Did you watch Sundays game against Arsenal.
I’ve never liked him and I’m not changing mind now in fact I would gladly drive him to Dover and make him swim back to France if I could.
I don’t care if he won the World Cup, England got to the Semi Final ffs, it means nothing and nothing will change my mind about him. He should never have returned.

Still not all CMs play the same role. I believe we wouldn’t compare David Silva to Fernandinho. The truth of the matter is we suffer a lot when pogba isn’t on form during a game and although we should be able to criticize him we should also try not to put the blame down to him. Looking at a team like city, their midfield is able to perform with 2 Attacking midfielders playing like central midfielders because of the quality of their defenders. Their defenders can basically operate as deep lying playmakers enabling their midfielders to play further up. A player like pogba would thrive in city’s team because he wouldn’t need to worry too much during transition stages.

Basically the point I’m getting at is we need to upgrade key positions in our defense like every other elite team to be able to get the most out of our Key players like Pogba. Currently we need him to drop deeper against elite sides which shouldn’t be a problem(my biggest criticism against him) but if we have better players in defense and probably midfield he wouldn’t have to worry too much with these responsibilities.

Tbh he seems to show his best form when the whole team is ticking. I’d love him to strike a worldly when we’re struggling sometimes.

I don't agree with you at all, but fair play for sticking to your opinion, at the end of the day, football is just results and opinions!

My true colours are supporting Manchester United not just one player who chooses to play when he wants too, see the above second post which sums him up rather well.
Be interesting to see what pans out this summer, let’s see how highly the other big clubs around Europe rate him and just how seriously they will try and get him. Let’s see if his head is easily turned if Zidanne starts talking about him.
People say he’s our best player, is he? Is he our most consistent? I would say this season our most consistent players have been Shaw, Herrera, and Matic, especially since Ole has taken over.
Look at Young, not even a right back but the attitude that man shows is first class, I just wish Pogba would drop the showboating and petulance because he isn’t good enough or consistent enough to justify acting the way he does.
Right I think that’s me done with this particular player.

Matic has been poor this season. He's been decent since Ole came in, but easily the worst of the 3. I don't understand why you are posting in this thread really.

Edit: Didn't read the last line initially. Good riddance.

Funny this love in with Pogba.
Any one notice that the game of the season so far had one particular player missing as well as a few others?

I doubt very much we would have won that game with the show pony playing.
How much have Juventus missed the greatest midfielder of all time since he left? Not much is my opinion.

You know how a group of people in a room can be laughing and joking, and then suddenly one guy speaks up and the entire room falls silent?
Thats you.

Oh dear. Must feel terrible hating the best player on the team and having to endure watching him week in week out.

The best player on the pitch, just not the best player on the pitch today unfortunately. Doesn’t make him a bad player though. The mans a class act.

Crap today but we are far too reliant on all of our attacking play to go through him. Major problem that has to be addressed.

Red Card for Casemiro!
To be the best midfielder in the world, you need to have a consistent low cap. Even at your worst, you should be hitting 7/10s during a poor run of form. Pogba fluctuates from 10/10 to 2/10 with no warning - frequently. The first half today was a throwback to the Mourinho era where he apparenty didn't give a feck. Created nothing, gave the ball away too often, couldn't find the right pass, didn't track back, looked like he didn't care. Worrying mentality.

He will have a blinder soon, and look invincible - but he really needs to start being more consistent.

I hope overrating him around here stops. He is the first one to down tools when the going gets tough.

Reverted back to his old self.

Pointless player when he’s in that mood. For some reason he thinks the best way forward is to start dribbling in his own half and trying to beat all 11 players rather than playing the simple pass.

Nothing was right with that performance, he didn’t even occupy the left side where he’s been so dangerous lately.

Looks like the bad Pogba is back. It was fun as it lasted, at least we got a good run from him for the first time since he's signed.

Also keep him away from the fecking arm band. I actually prefer Young to him, crazy but that's it. He's not captain mentality.

Should step up after the break if we want a top 4.

Oh my. That was absolutely terrible. I thought these days were over. The angry manager who makes a point doesn't seem to motivate him, he'll just cause a big fuzz, and the good guy who makes him smile and trust him is not rewarded when Pogba decides to get complacent. I don't know what his problem is, and you can see he doesn't think it is his own fault and drops his head. Rashford too is very similar in this regard.
