Gareth Bale - Injury plagued, getting older & would demand huge wages. Also turned down our club twice, let him and Real have each other.
Dele Alli - Can't stand the cnut.
Sergio Ramos - Can't stand the cnut. Also used us to get higher wages before & is getting on with age (won't have many years on the top). Cretin of a man.
Pepe & Sergio Busquets - Can't stand them either.
Benzema - If Real wants to get rid, then I wouldn't want him either.

I'm tempted to write Rabiot, but I really don't know enough about what has gone on to really say. On paper he looks like a no-brainer to sign on a free.

Easier to just put the list of players we should be thinking about and a no to everyone else (being realistic, gonna leave out any of the standard top players who haven't been linked with us at all).

Center backs: De Ligt, Koulibaly, Skriniar
Right back: Lala, Calabria, Meunier?
Center mid: Declan Rice, Aouar, Bruno Fernandes?
Right wing: Sancho, Pepe, Chiesa/Douglas Costa?

Forgot about a few options, and obviously in midfield there's more options but what I know for sure is we need more technically quality players in there while Rice seems like a classic Fergie type signing and in a position of need as well that fits in with his age development.

Would avoid people like Coutinho (we have Pogba), Bale (old, always injured, overrated, past it) N'Dombele (need higher quality on the ball in midfield), Maguire (not good enough), Wan Bissaka (Dalot).

It's the same thing though isn't it? Transfer wishlist and everyone else is a "no".
Not really, i mean, it's quite obvious we're not going to sign Crouch or Henderson, this is more about players that might be linked to us, but we don't really want the club to buy.
Like the Perisic, Gaitan, Sneijder, Alderweireld, Bale, and so on, rumours the last decade+

Tierney would be a decent squad option, Rabiot is better then Herrera and would be a smart buy that would allow us to focus funds elsewhere, Wan Bissaka is one of the better RBs in the league. Agree with Lozano, Bergwijn and Chiesa, not going to light up the league with them.

1- Tierney is too good to be a squad option and we don’t need him.

2- Rabiot is not better than Herrera and would bring horrendous baggage.

3- Wan-Bissaka is a young, extremely talented RB of which we already have 2. We should get a more experienced one like Meunier instead of spunking £50m on AWB.

Tierney, if as good as people say, would be good for our squad due to us only really having Shaw for the left-back spot. The drop in quality to Darmian is too much.

Do we have 2 extremely talented RB's that are ready to play?
Dalot, sure. Laird is largely unproven & untested. Darmian is not extremely talented and Young while a good player to have in the squad for one more year isn't a long-term solution.

We have other more pressing matters, but neither of Tierney or Wan-Bissaka would be terrible buys for the club.

'Too good to be a squad option' so we should keep average back up players? Its called squad depth. One injury to Shaw and we have no left footed fullback, and Shaw isnt the most reliable in terms of injury. A LB is a must buy.

Rabiot is technically far superior to Herrera, do you ever watch him play? The only thing Herrera has that Rabiot doesnt is a good attitude. And to be honest he needs to have a good attitude as he is limited going forward.

We actually have one young talented RB in Dalot unless your including 'Laird' as one, a guy who hasnt made a first team appearance this season is good enough to be second or third choice next season? Wan Bissaka is a solid player, I would agree in signing Meunier over him as we lack experience and anyone apart from Young being in the starting 11 is a positive.

Of course Tierney would be great for us. I’d love to have both him and Shaw, but my point is he wouldn’t be happy to be back-up.

When you’re building a squad you need to look at the profile and age of players and not just their quality. We need experience at RB, not more potential. We have enough of that. AWB is brilliant but why would you go and spend £50m on a player when you already have one who has shown more at 19 than AWB did?

They wouldn’t be terrible buys, just silly ones considering we don’t have unlimited funds. Spending £25m on Meunier at this point seems much more logical than £50m on AWB.

Rabiot is an extremely overrated player although technically he is better than Herrera. But saying that Herrera only has a better attitude over Rabiot is nonsense. He’s a much better tackler and has much more energy which is essential when you have someone like Matic sitting. He’s asking for astronomical wages that he doesn’t deserve just because he’s going to be on a free and if you’re looking for technique I’d rather get Neves. He’s technically better and doesn’t come with a shit personality.
